[[ we'll be skipping now, as di-stri seems to have completed their characters or at least most of them, and i don't want to be stuck for ages c: ]] || Pippa ||
Twenty minutes ago Pippa had changed from her casual muggle clothing that her muggle mother had been adamant that she wore, which wasn't even her style, but apparently looked 'formal' (tight black jeans and a white jacket, which couldn't be seen because of her black fluffy faux-fur coat) into her Hogwarts robes. She had noticed how long they'd been upon the Hogwarts Express, and figured they'd be arriving soon. And, sure enough, it wasn't long before the great steam engine pulled into the station. Unable to hold in her excitement, Pippa bounced up from her chair and grasped the cage which held her small Pygmy owl, Tweet, and slung her rucksack over her shoulder, and with her right hand she pulled her suitcase up and towards the door. Myra and Khloe would have to wait - she'd see them later, anyway. She wanted to get a seat on the thestral-drawn carriages before anyone else. Half of her wished that she could see the great winged horses that pulled the carriages, but, really, she didn't. She'd rather not watch someone die. Finding herself a carriage, Pippa reached out and felt an invisible head nudge her hand, before making her way up through the little door. || Luke || ''Hey, Micah, I think we're here,'' Luke said, forcing the excitement out of his voice. It wasn't cool to be thrilled about being here again. The second-year picked up Zeus - who was surprisingly heavy, and made his way out of the compartment. He spotted Tia already hopping off the train, looking confused until she clearly heard the booming shout of: ''first years follow me''. Of course, his younger sister would be taking the boats to school this September, not the carriages.''You'll be taking the boats,'' Luke informed Micah, signalling towards the source of the sound. || Tia || Tia jumped off the Hogwarts Express, tingling from head to toe with excitement and enthusiasm. She'd waited eleven long years for this day, and finally, she'd reached the age where she could attend the school at last. She was aware that Luke had instructed her not to act embarrassing, but she couldn't help her eyes brightening with the thrill of being here.For a moment, Tia was confused. Where was she supposed to go? It was extremely crowded here - people were pushing and shoving to reach their friends. Other first years were wandering around, confusement etched upon their faces - until they heard a shout echoing over the chaos, and headed towards the source of the sound, reaching some little rowing boats. Ah, now she remembered. They were to row them to the great castle. It would be enjoyable if the early autumn evening wasn't so freezing cold. Wishing her brother were here, Tia settled herself in one of the boats, handing her things to a member of staff. || Logan ||As the train chugged to a stop, Logan gathered his things together, hastily shoving his homework folder into his rucksack. ''Hey, Calliope, we've arrived,'' he said to the girl he had shared the compartment with for the whole of that awkward journey. It would be nice to get out into the fresh air, Logan thought, as he made his way out of the train. Also, he couldn't wait for the great feast that he was to eat later on in the evening, after the tedious sorting he had to sit through. The sorting was only interesting when you were a first year, in Logan's opinion. In every other year he had always been hungry the whole way through. || Taya ||Taya made her way out into the cold, autumn air. She shivered, pulling her coat closer to her. Misty mewed in protest, and the Hufflepuff poked her fingers through the bars of her crate for a moment, scratching the little cat behind the ear.
''It's alright, Misty, it won't take long to reach the school, and then you'll be in the warm.'' She reassured the cat, no longer caring if anyone saw her speaking to her cat.
Shivering, she stepped into a carriage, smiling at the thestral that stood there. She could see the great winged beasts, after seeing her aunt's death in the hospital, as a result of a terrible car crash. She respected them, in fact, they were quite beautiful animals.

|Nate|
Nate had been laying his head against one of the windows on the train, half asleep for basically the whole ride, but he woke up instantly when he realized how long they had been on the train, and that he started seeing some familiar features. "We're almost there, guys." He said to the others that were in the cabin with him. And sure enough, as soon as he said that, the train came to a slow halt. Nate smirked slightly. "How did you know that?" One of them asked with a chuckle as they started to gather their things. "Magic." Nate answered simply with a smirk, as the other guys rolled their eyes.
|Ryker|
Ryker noticed they were coming to a halt and took in a deep sigh. "Another year at this god-forsaken place." He said with disgust in his voice as he tripped a first year who was coming down the hall, excitedly. "What out for that ledge there, bud." Ryker said with a smirk and the other Slytherins with him started laughing. "Well, be better hey moving guys, we don't want to get left on this pitiful train." He said as he grabbed his things and walked out.

Micah ;;
His gaze flicked to Luke, and he frowned thoughtfully. At some point, Sybil had wound herself over his shoulders and refused to move, but he didn't mind that so much. Micah exhaled softly and gave a nervous smile, beginning to walk towards the source of the shouting and giving the other boy a nervous wave.
"Uh, see you later?" he asked, because he wasn't too sure if Luke would actually want to talk to him again. Maybe it had been out of some sort of obligation that he'd decided to talk to him. Oh well.
Swallowing nervously, Micah walked towards the boats and kept his head low.
Paxton & Theresa ;;
"You ditched me," her tone was accusing as she dragged her brother into one of the carriages, shoving him down into the seat and sitting next to him. They had to wait for two more people before they could go, but that was fine - she had all the time in the world. "You ditched me!"
Pax glanced to Tessa before rolling his eyes and tilting his head back, sighing slowly and half-closing his eyes.
"I ditched you," he agreed lightly, "so what?"
He zoned out as she gave him a firm rant on manners and the like, listened to the sounds around him rather than to the soft voice of his sister's voice. He was dimly aware of her talking in Arabic, but that was all he was really aware of. He drummed his fingers gently over his leg, and stared blankly into the middle distance.
Margot Liao ;;
At some point, her brother had ditched her - which was normal. At some point, Zacharie had ditched her - which was just away from normal.
With a quick pace, Margot walked towards the carriages and chose an empty one, hopping into it and humming quietly to herself. She glanced around at the people around her in an attempt to seek out one of her brothers, but neither of them were visible. She understood her adopted brother not being visible; he was too small, for the most part, to be notable. She didn't understand her half-brother being invisible, though. He was probably still on the train.
Typical. She rolled her eyes upwards and tilted her head back, brushing a hand through her hair and considering how she'd act this year. Would she do her homework? Get to classes on time? Nah, that sounded boring and unimaginative, and she couldn't stand either.
Zacharie & Cyrus ;;
"You have lost your sister," said Zacharie in Mandarin, eyebrows raised as he craned his neck to look up at Cyrus. The other boy looked back down at him and raised a single eyebrow, but said nothing. "Does that not bother you?"
"She's your sister too," Cyrus replied in English, before pushing his way through the crowds and picking out a carriage without checking to see who was in it, sitting down and shooting a sharp look to his adopted brother. Taking the hint, Zacharie gave him a two-fingered salute and chose another one.
If looks could kill, Cyrus' sharp look towards Zacharie would've done more than just kill him.

[[ @borderline i guess i'll kind of make Taya in the carriage that Cyrus is in? i just don't want everyone to kind of be roleplaying by themselves at this point haha ]] || Taya ||
The Hufflepuff had been gently murmuring soft words to the small bundle of grey that was curled up tightly on the three soft lilac blankets that had been laid down for her in her crate. In fact, they were actually Taya's blankets that she'd been given from her mother as a toddler, but Misty liked them more than even she did now. She small cat seemed to have an attatchment to them, always curling up and falling asleep where they were, as if they comforted her. Taya smiled at the thought. Her thoughts were suddenly disrupted, however, by the squabbling going on between two other students. Great. Well now she was going to have human company - the exact thing she didn't really want right now, or ever wanted, really. The sixth year turned her head to see who was making the noise. Two boys, who she didn't recognise, but could tell by the ties that one was a Gryffindor and the other a Slytherin. Watching as the Gryffindor clambered into the same carriage as her, Taya muttered a barely-audible: ''Hi.''She decided that she might as well try to be social, because if she didn't then they'd sure be stuck in an awkward silence for a while. In fact, it was extremely rare for Taya to speak the first word at all.
She sat back as the thestrals began to pull the carriage along the track, heading towards the castle in the distance. This was a much better way to travel, in her opinion. In her first year, she hadn't had a very good experience with the boats, and fell out into the muddy bank while trying to get off when they had reached their destination. It had been poor weather, too, which didn't help.
|| Luke || ''Yeah, if you make Slytherin I'll see you a lot more,'' Luke said to Micah, his words accompanied by a slight smile, ''if not, well, then I'll try and talk to you again sometime.''
It already seemed as if they were running late, and the carriages were probably filling up. Luke had never travelled by the carriages before, and didn't want to get left behind or have to join one full of intimidating seventh years, so began to walk out the compartment door. ''Bye for now,'' he called to Micah as he filed out of the steam engine, along with the other final few pupils to exit the train.
He practically raced to the carriages, noticing with surprise that they didn't seem to have connected any horses to them, yet, so he was in no real hurry. Not bothering to check who was accompanying him on this journey, Luke said down and got comfortable, resting Zeus's cage on his knee.
A few moments later the carriage was rumbling away. Without horses. What did he expect, really? He was heading to Hogwarts, a magic school...obviously some enchantment could be casted to make carriages pull themselves.
