"Uhh, I'm not sure... Which one do you want to?" She asked sheepishly, not remembering the specific names... and not wanting to admit she didn't know the names. There was one where everyone who seemed to be nice got sorted into, and then the smart ones got sorted another one... Unfortunately, she never really was considered the sweetest person in the world, if someone was bullying her friend then she would fight for them, and she never got the best marks in class. So those two where a no go. She couldn't remember the other ones, not off of the top of her head. She paused, crouching down and rubbing Pips head in goodbye, not wanting to leave him but knowing she would have to for awhile. She left the rest of her belongings and followed Tia quickly.

(hey guys sorry I haven't been on, I was at a convention yesterday and the day before, spent the night with my bf last night, and meant to reply earlier but I decided to take a "quick" nap that ended up lasting like 4 hours XD anyways, what have I missed? And I'll try to FULLY finish my character forms now instead of the sort of skeleton forms they currently have)

''What's your favourite aspect of Wandlore? How come you like it so much? What kind of wand do you have?''
She fired the questions at Calliope as if this were some kind of exam. Calliope Calliope began to grin. That was an open invitation, and so many questions. Normally questions were exciting to her anyway, a new challenge to test her knowledge. But wandlore was something else all together. "Well, the easy question first. My wand is ten inches long, beech wood, with a unicorn hair core." Not particularly fancy. Unicorn hair was common, and the length was not very remarkable. Beech wood, however, was somewhat uncommon. Users were often described as wise, and wands of beech, when paired correctly, were not just capable of the usual magic, but more subtle spells that were more difficult to master. Perfect for Calliope. The pair bonded almost immediately, especially with the unicorn hair core.
"I think my favorite aspect of it is the unknown elements to it. Like, some of the brightest witches and wizards have worked with wands for years, and we still don't entirely know how they work. There's so much to learn from them, and still so much to discover. That's also probably one of the things that interested me in it at first, but at this point, I'm incredible invested in learning about wands themselves. How sentient they are, what other kinds of cores can be used in the future. Things like that. Honestly, it surprises me that more people aren't interested in it. What about you?" |

(Got it Bronze  ) Lyra caught the chocolate frog and grinned. "Thanks Evens." She opened it and looked up the carriages were coming to a halt, it was time to get out. "Yes! We are here!" The girl popped up out of her seat grabbing her things and shoving the chocolate frog in her mouth. She turned looking at Nate. "Come on slow poke lets go!" Lyra teased him and she jumped out of the carriage. Hogwarts loomed over the students now, it was just like she remembered a home away from both homes. Stretching she letting out a big sigh. "Its good to be back." (Sorry it is short i have a doctors appointment soon and I'm getting ready) Sorry, I didn't see this lol) Nate grinned, shoving the chocolate frog in his mouth as he hurriedly grabbed this things and raced after Lyra. "I'll race you!" He mumbled through a mouth of chocolate and gave her a goofy grin. Using one free hand, he wrapped his arm lightly around Lyra's. "It is indeed. Time for some fine dinning and awesome party's, am I right?" He said with a chuckled as they hurried excitedly towards the massive castle. |

"That's just cruel." Nate said with a fake whiny voice. He then grinned mischievously as an idea popped into his head. Running up to her, he lower his body and smoothly picked her up, turning her around to where he was carrying her over his shoulder like a potato sack, making sure she won't drop her things.

Pippa was extremely proud of her wand - holly was one of the rarer wand woods used. It had been strange that she'd been presented with such a wand, as holly wands were usually best matched with people facing danger or a quest, and she'd just been an innocent eleven year old - her only quest had been heading to Hogwarts. The wandmaker had even had to check twice before selling it to her.
The fact that in it contained a unicorn hair made it slightly easier to bond with than a pheonix feather, and she'd had a close bond with her wand ever since. Holly wood wands were well suited to Gryffindors, and she wouldn't want any other wand in the world.
''As for why I love it, well, there's so much to explore!'' she continued, beaming, ''like why wands choose that particular owner, and why wands have always had such a bond with their wizard or witch for centuries. I've always wanted to be the adult behind the counter, watching the eyes of a first-year brighten up when they discover their pair - and to know I've created it myself, exactly for them, but without knowing at the time.'' |

[ tbh im w cosmic here. if u plan on them being a couple straight-up then u give no chance for other social interactions and so forth. maybe see how it goes for a while before deciding u ship them ]

Lol I was kidding about the you can't sink the ship lol, and anyway, I wasn't planning on them being a couple right off the bat) [[ oh right, sorry lol and yeah i know but i mean you wouldnt even have a crush on someone after meeting them for one day really i think you should wait a while so Lyra and Nate know each other a lot more before shipping them and Nate flirting and stuff. it gives the couple more development and a reason as to why they should actually be together ]] |
