So she apparently died in the Great Battle, but she went to a gathering in Dovewing's Silence.
Also, kind of off topic, but why did he announce Redwillow? He was a traitor.
So Tigerheart was talking to a ghost. Or Dovewing was hallucinating.
This was just a small error I decided to point out.

Maybe she didn't die right away. Maybe she died from an infected wound or something a few weeks later? Bramblestar's Storm takes place six months after TLH while Dovewing's Silence takes place immediately after, so she could have died during the time gap?
It's probably an error but that's all I can think of

Littlecloud must have done a horrible job checking cats if that was the case. Maybe her wound was healing, but sometime after the Gathering it got opened up again and got infected and she died? It's also possible Littlecloud was so stressed that he didn't do a good job checking over everyone, or that he didn't have enough herbs for everyone so Shrewfoot decided to just tough it out thinking she'd be all right. |

Well maybe she died from something else and Blackstar forgot and thought she died during the great battle. Blackstar was kinda old...maybe it caught up with him.

It's also possible Littlecloud was so stressed that he didn't do a good job checking over everyone, or that he didn't have enough herbs for everyone so Shrewfoot decided to just tough it out thinking she'd be all right. But still, why take a wounded cat to a gathering? If she had a fatal wound, wouldn't it be safer for her to be in camp until it fully healed due to the risk o fit opening up? |

So, I looked into the allegiances of The Last Hope and the was no cat named Shredtail in ShadowClan, so maybe. XD Or Blackstar really is extremely senile. I mean, he already forgot about the Redwillow incident and now he mistakes a Dark Forest warrior as his own clanmate. |
