So I'm trying to put a banner into the front page of my den but it's not showing up. I've tried putting the code [ img]URL Link[ /img] without the spaces into the BBC code but it's just showing me the icon that you get when the image doesn't pop up. I'm using imgur to get the link. |

I would try using the 'insert image' button on the reply bar and see if that works. It's the last set, third from the left. Maybe try that and see if it works any better.
If it still doesn't work, you can give me the exact code that you're putting in and I can see what the problem is, but using the toolbar should fix the problem without having to do that. cx

I just used [ img]http://imgur.com/U7EYqtj[ /img] without the spaces of course. I have tried putting it into the BBC code feature and using insert image. |

 Yeah, I hate the imgur update. In order for it to work in code, it needs a file type. Adding .png to the end of the link fixes this problem. Here's what the code is for the working image: [img style="max-width:100%;" src="http://imgur.com/U7EYqtj.png"] |

Uploading a photo to imgur also allows you to place it in BBC code.

Yeah, imgur updated somewhere around two weeks ago. It's faster and in some ways easier, but it's not always as user-friendly.

It's the third or fourth option? but it's hidden behind things and it's not always that easy to show people how to find if they don't know where to look or haven't used the site.
