Jessamine Jinxtresa - Or, more popularly known, Jinx. She was rather lovely - A slender, lithe body with decent curves, her skin a soft, even caramel tone with a splash of darker freckles ove rher cheeks and nose. Her eyes were a brilliant bottle green, clashing magnificently with her ruler-straight, long and almost painfully bright fiery red hair. It swept to the center of her back, silky smooth and shiny. Jinx was also the type of person that held a rare, wonderful ability - magic. Her specialty was precious metals and gems, so she naturally opened a jewelry shop.
Jinx's Dimension was appropriately named - in her front window, tucked away between two high-class cafes, were two diamond the size of pillows. Inside the perfectly faceted diamonds were two scenes, one on each side of the door - one had a scene of a beautiful summer house, with a glistening lake in front and a lovely evergreen forest behind. The other was a winter wonderland - all icicles and snow piles, snowmen lined by a quaint cottage. Inside, a navy blue ceiling twinkled with hundreds of little diamonds suspended by chords like stars - the light was encased in a brilliant faceted hollow diamond. The shop was perfectly smooth - the only sharp edges when the floor met the wall. The walls glowed with the northern lights, the screens so realistic people had to blink to make sure they were still in Las Vegas and not the arctic. There were five red, plush chairs at the entrance - waiting areas.
Currently, Jinx was meeting with a young man, her bottle green eyes sharp and witty, outlined with black eyeliner and mascara. She nodded her head, laughing gently through dark cherry, matte painted lips. "Well, sir, I applaud your choice. Your sisters birthday, eh? So close to Christmas, and you choose a gift totally unrelated to the holiday. So, lets see how this...." She let her sentence trail off, casting her eyes around the room. There were no cases, protected with alarm - instead, all around the perimeter of the room, suspended in mid-air by nothing but themselves, were chains. Silver, gold, tiny diamond lines - all lengths, from choker to body chains. One chain in particular caught Jinx's eyes, and she beckoned it close with a small wave of her hand, long and sleek black-painted nails glinting. The chain was doubled - one short, the other long. "If she's turning sixteen, she'll prefer something shiny and modern," She mused, almost to herself, casting a glance to her customer. She was young, herself - merely nineteen. However, with her unique magic, she had built a booming business all the quicker. "Ah, here's an idea!" She brushed her hand in front of the chain - the smaller chain formed a few gleaming saphire snowflakes, impossibly delicate and glinting brilliantly. On the longer chain, a single pendant - a matching snowflake, with incredible detail and amazing craftsman ship. Her hand flat under the hovering chains, she held it up to show the man, taking a step closer. Her heels, black and high, clipped the floor gently.
"Twenty karat gold chain, with pure uncut saphire charms and one pendant." Jinx flicked on chain - the entire thing gave a slow rotate. "That would be..." She gave the man her price, letting the chain and saphire package themselves beautifully in a soft, long and slim box. Wrapping the box with a long strand of metallic gold ribbon, she tied it off with a simple, elegant bow. Meanwhile, the man had scanned a CredCard over the chip in his wrist. The Credits he owned to the young woman were transferred from his account to the card, which he handed to Jinx. "Happy holidays, and happy birthday to your sister," She smiled, handing over the box with a friendly handshake. She put the CredCard in her wallet, and tucked it back into her purse, resting beneath the counter she worked at. Jinx folded one tan leg over the other, sheathed in skin-toned tights with glitter and gems pasted to them and a short, black pleated skirt, perched back on a tall chair. Leaning back, Jinx felt the long-sleeve shirt hug her curves tightly, the somewhat deep V neck dipping a pinch lower. "Next customer, please," She said cheerfully, smiling at the new person welcomingly.
