A place for LGBTAQ+ people-and allies-to talk about queer issues, get/give advice, ask questions, or just chat. (I'm always up for talking about Star Wars. ) Be nice to each other! This is a safe place for people to be friendly and chat. I'm a transgender asexual man. I'm a college student who has been out for quite awhile and is medically transitioning. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! You can private message me as well if that makes you more comfortable.

AAAAY! Star Wars is basically one family messing up an entire galaxy with their drama. There's a whole lot to the plot/lore of the star wars world. What else would you like to know?

It's actually fairly easy to follow, especially now that Disney reset the universe. the 7 movies, rogue one, the clone wars tv show, and any books published after 2015 are canon. Nothing else is. All books and shows before 2015 are no longer canon.
There are a lot of different orders that the movies can be watched in, but my personal favorite it 4,5,1,2,3,6,7, and then rogue one.

Hum... I can't even remember which movie I watched first. Might have been 4. And I'd heard about Disney resetting the universe. Do you like the way Disney is going with it or do you like the way it was before?

I like the new way. Honestly, nothing has changed from my point of view. I've been into star wars since I was a kid, but the 6 movies and the clone wars cartoon where the only things I watched. I didn't read any of the books or watch the other shows. So the content that I always considered the only canon is now actually the only canon.
Two years worth of literature to catch up on is a lot easier than fourty, so I'm happy they chose 2015 as the start date for the new canon.

True. Forty years of reading would be hard. Even for a bookworm like me. Anyway, what makes Star Wars stand out as a good series to you?

(nostalgia mostly, it's something me and my dad bonded over) But plot wise, I love the space battles, the weird aliens, the planets, the lightsabers, the family f*cking over the universe with their BS, the sarcastic robots. I love how none of the characters are completely good or evil(except for Darth Sidious, but he's the literal embodiment of the darkside)The characters are allowed to have flaws and evolve from their mistakes. They're relatable human-sometimes alien-beings. There are also a lot of dark themes, but the movies are somehow able to portray these themes without mentally scaring the viewer. There's so much I love about this series. It's like trying to explain why I like warrior cats, there's too many good things, and I even appreciate the flaws of the series.
(Darth Vader showed up in Rogue One just to make a pun and it gives me so much life, you have no idea)

Pretty good, pretty good. Listening to a bunch of music, so half the time I'm either trying not to dance or trying not to sing. XD I hardly even succeed in stopping myself though.

I feel ya! I listen to heavy metal and screamo, and it's hard not to start screaming in the middle of a song.

Hum, I listen to Rock and Pop mostly. Though I'll listen to anything that sounds good. (Which means I have a favorite song in just about ever genre.) And I look awfully strange trying to dance when I'm also trying to stay in my chair. XD
