OoC :: Exactly! Hey, mind if I make that character cause I have some ideas for them! And that's like the best reason for them too! Cause the powerful people probably look down on the useless powered people and they got fed up with it and are using this as a way to show them they are powerful!

IC :: Elizabeth smiled cheerfully. Fake an emotion, and it works for everyone. She just had to... believe she was actually happy, and in a way she was. So far, she had taken down several heroes and last she heard, the next target on her list was at this little coffee shop. A place for all superheroes. All was underlined. The girl simply walked inside casually glancing over everyone in the place looking for the person.

Lux sighed into his coffee. It was mostly exhaustion, but for the first time, it was also actual hopelessness. He didn't know what to do with himself. "Join a superhero team! They'll love you!" his buddies had encouraged him. However, the only one useful thing he could do was cook, and that wasn't a superpower. I mean, what was expected? He was going to throw door hinges at bad guys? No, he wasn't in the mood to embarras himself anymore… until suddenly, maybe he was? At least, the pressure from the day was gone. Yeah, he felt happy. Maybe it was the good coffee, or maybe something was in the coffee…
////
Sica was having a good day, at least. Then again, it seemed he always was. Such an optimist. He caught the door as it was closing, walking in behind a woman. She also seemed happy; maybe he'd try sitting down next to her and striking up some conversation, maybe even make a show of trying to convince her he'd teleported when the only place he could go was the same exact spot.

IC :: She scanned the room carefully as she moved inwards before locking eyes onto the person she was looking for. Rachel Adalina, aka Madame Wildfire. A woman with immense power, she had the ability to summon fire and control it at will. Bend it into whatever she needed- but she was a complete b----. Elizabeth would know, off of the first 20 or so on her list who Elizabeth had recorded making fun of those like Elizabeth, worthless powers they said. As long as everyone here thought they were all heroes, all were allies.... it was perfect.
She started towards the woman who was having a casual chat with a man, likely a date. Of course, it was a man who had actual power. Like Rachel would bother with a 'lower class' hero. The thought of that made her.... a little angry. Which was perfect to start a fight with Wildfire, she would no doubt try to use her powers and no doubt fail. Elizabeth had found ways through her failures of powers. Though the no usage of Wildfire's powers would allow Elizabeth to do something to harm her, and once Elizabeth had her down, she could take her away. Unfortunately... there was people here. Not to many at least.

Levi looked up as another two people joined them inside the cafe, watching the curiously. Opposite him, Harper cleared her throat as a reminder not to stare, but he ignored her. It wasn't like he was staring, anyway, just looking in the direction where the most movement was taking place. He was drawn to sensory noise like a moth to a flame, and he'd long ago gotten over the fact that many considered it rude.
Harper knew her brother well, well enough not to try again. He wouldn't look away until something new and shiny caught his attention again. She sighed into her tea, flicking through her paper absentmindedly. At least the cafe was relatively quiet. She could relax here when it wasn't as crowded as usual. The disappearances were awful, but the calm she found in everyday situations now was definitely an unexpected perk.

IC :: Elizabeth stopped at the table, a fierce smile on her face as she abruptly interrupted the two. Rachel was obviously surprised and offended that she did so, the male was simply startled. Elizabeth leaned onto the table resting her elbows, a fire in her eyes. She could see the flames of anger already seeping into Rachel's quickly. It took a lesser effect to the male as Elizabeth was more focused on the fire girl.
Rachel stood up, hands pushing against the table in a furious manner before practically yelling at Elizabeth. "What the hell do you think you're doing! Do you know how impolite it is to interrupt someone on a date?" No, not yelling. Like a whiny cry. Elizabeth didn't like that, but she couldn't show her own anger despite it being there. It wouldn't put her in the best of light. As if this wasn't already doing that.

At the cry, even Harper looked up. She frowned deeply, looking between the two women at the bar (and the man, who seemed startled and a little irritated, though it was hard for her to tell). She sipped at her tea still but folded her paper and tucked it away to pay closer attention to what was happening. They wouldn't have two fights in the time it took for her to finish one cup of tea, would they? Then again, who knew in a place like this?
Unlike Harper, Levi was fascinated by the argument. It was certainly distracting. He watched, wide-eyed, as Rachel started whining, and rather loudly. He was certain that she had 'proper' powers, most people that acted this way did. That wasn't to say that all people with useful powers did, but generally, the more powerful you were the more bratty you could be.

IC :: "Oops, silly me. I just didn't think that someone like you would score a date, my bad. Had to check to see if it was the truth." Elizabeth taunted backing away keeping the smile on her face. She grabbed onto a chair nearby as Rachel, Madame Wildfire, aimed her palms at Elizabeth prepared to shoot and... well fire! They both waited for several minutes staring at one another.
"Wh-What the hell? Why isn't my power working-? What-" She started to cry out looking at her palms quickly. Falling right into Elizabeth's hands. She was prepared for what the woman did next. Turn on her in a fiery rage, without the fire. She tried to swing at her, missing extravagantly. Elizabeth already saw how rage got people fired up in a way they couldn't focus properly.
Elizabeth continued to smile, seeing how pathetic someone who was supposed to be great infuriated her herself. Elizabeth couldn't believe this woman! In fact, despite her not being the strongest person in the world, Elizabeth swung at Rachel and hit her target straight in the nose. Rachel stared at her, stunned before her eyes grew dark.

I forgot how bad I am with replying on time to group RPs, especially big ones. Sorry guys this is going be my last post for a bit. John and his newt (and maybe Sam) might show up to help everyone in their adventures later but I got a lot off stuff I need to do right now.))
Sam: Sam jumped down off of the jukebox, looking almost offended by how boring everyone was being today. She didn’t care about any of the others and their lame powers. She was determined to feel cool with hers, and she wasn’t about to whine about them to these people. They mostly ignored her anyway. What, did they think they were better than her, even with their stupid powers? It was insulting. She walked over to the door, bending down to pick up her pencil.
John: John frowned as more people entered the room. He’d thought The Powered Palace was looking a little empty before, but now it was starting to feel crowded. The man shifted uneasily in his chair, finally standing up. The newt in his pocket squeaked quietly, and he sighed down at it. He looked over his shoulder and gave a half hearted wave to the group, though he knew nobody cared, and nobody was even paying attention.
He held the door for the young woman who had decided to leave as well, following her out into the cold day. The man tipped his hat to her, turning and walking down the street. The fresh air would do him some good.
