Hi there! Warrior names are something I find fascinating, so of course I enjoy rating them, and (as I guess I probably don't need to say) this is my little name-rating corner. I will only accept warrior names for the most part, and if you'd like, you can include descriptions. Hope you have fun!
If you include a description, please include personality and skills, because that's how I judge if the suffix fits.
I offer a few different ways of scoring, and if you don't specify what you'd like, I will give you the basic rating. Please, no more than 10 names for simple ratings or 5 names for detailed ratings.
Simple Ratings Just ask if you want reasons for every rating, otherwise I will only do that for scores that are 50% or less of the total possible score. -The Basic (names only): 10 possible points, 5 for flow, 5 for practicality -The Basic (names with descriptions): 10 possible points, 3 for flow, 3 for practicality, 2 for prefix fit, 2 for suffix fit -Just Flow (names only): 5 possible points for how nice the name sounds (psst... you can enter Ancient/Tribe names here!) -Just Practicality (names with or without descriptions): 5 possible points based on how well I think it would work in my idea of Clan culture -Just Fit (names with descriptions): 10 possible points, 5 each for fit of prefix and suffix
Detailed Rating (must include description) -20 possible points, allocated as follows: 4 for flow, 6 for practicality, 5 for prefix fit, 5 for suffix fit
HALL OF FAME To get into the Hall of Fame, a name must achieve a perfect score on a simple rating or at least 18 points on a detailed rating.

Northlight 6/10 Closesky 5/10 Not sure what Close- describes about appearance, and it's a little clunky to say. Littlemoon 6/10 Ratmask 7/10 Flightsky 5/10 Flight- doesn't really describe appearance at all. Eaglecry 6/10 Moonshadow 6/10 Tigerfrost 8/10 Cedarstorm 9/10 Kinkfire 7/10

This is for a desert RP, so I want to see which names you think are the best. The RP is 4-Clan and is morals-focused; my Clan pushes egoism, which is the belief that one is morally obligated to do what benefits themselves only. Basically, an egoism-driven individual believes that one is morally obligated to be selfish. As such, the cats don't believe in StarClan, instead using religion as a means to put themselves in a more positive light, and are arrogant and violent. Could you please judge these names off of that?
Jackalfang Stormchaser Darkstorm Sandspray Redsky Clawstrike Sandstreak Jaggedthorn Harefang

Jackalfang 9/10 Good name for the environment you have set up; since -fang cats are supposed to be above average in both hunting and fighting, there's a good potential for arrogance in cat who's proud of their skills, and in your Clan they may exercise more violence because they know they're good at fighting.Stormchaser 7/10 I can see -chaser being good for a cat who is skilled at chasing down fast prey.Darkstorm 8/10 -storm is good for cats with very unpredictable moods. In your Clan, maybe this cat even goes out of their way to be unpredictable.Sandspray 5/10 I'm afraid I can't think of a good meaning for -spray.Redsky 7/10 -sky is good for a cat who can jump exceptionally high – perhaps this one's skilled at nabbing birds as they take off?Clawstrike 5/10 I don't like the prefix Claw- because it doesn't really do much to describe appearance. The suffix is good for a cat who is known being a swift, agile fighter.Sandstreak 7/10 I can see two possible meanings for -streak: the cat has a streaked appearance, or they are very fast. In your setting I would lean toward the latter just because I doubt these cats would care for "basic" appearance suffixes.Jaggedthorn 5/10 I feel like Jagged- only really works as a name-change prefix. As for -thorn, I can envision a intelligent, possibly sharp-tongued cat.Harefang 8/10 See notes on Jackalfang. So one theme I can see is that these cats are all driven to excel in different areas, to help show off each cat's uniqueness and individuality, since egotistical cats probably want to avoid being given "common" suffixes like -fur and -pelt. Not that those are actually bad suffixes to have, but your egotistical cats may perceive them that way.The actual number score is from my "basic" rubric, but I've included comments that hopefully are helpful for your setting, mostly based on the suffixes. :3
