Hello everyone! I was an on and off member of the official Warriors forums since I was eleven or twelve, and was shocked to find just a little bit ago, really, that it had finally shut down. I mean, it was inevitable and I wondered sometimes when it would happen because seriously, they can't have been making money from that thing, but somehow actually seeing it come to pass felt kinda surprising. I mean, that site was my childhood. (I'm eighteen now, for the record.) You can never truly be prepared for something like your childhood favorite website closing, am I right? Anyway, since I wasn't very consistent with my forum participation and had multiple accounts throughout the course of my use of the site, I won't bother mentioning who I was because I doubt anyone would recognize me. (Heck, I wouldn't even remember many of the various aliases I once operated under.)
Admittedly, early this year I sold all my Warriors books. Oops. I was so obsessed once upon a time that I remember them well, however, and I still feel nostalgic for them occasionally! I'm mostly here for the community, which honestly, I probably have more nostalgia for than the books themselves, but I wouldn't mind discussing some Warriors from time to time as well. (Oh, and I did read Seekers, too. Poor Seekers. Everyone forgets about it.)
Since I figure the point of creating a thread here is to introduce myself somewhat, ah, call me Feli? First and foremost, I'm a writer guy. That's pretty much the most prominent aspect of my identity, I suppose. By extension, of course, I'm a lover of literature, and my favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger. I draw sometimes, too, but I'm pretty poor at it. I also really like Hetalia: Axis Powers, as anyone familiar with the series can probably tell from my avatar. The username, in case you couldn't guess, is also a Hetalia reference. (I'm not German. Germany is simply my anime husband.) I'm also pretty into Sherlock, Evangelion, and anime in general. I enjoy all sorts of music, but my favorite artists are an independent music project known as IAMX and 80's alternative rock band The Smiths.
Feel free to chat with me, especially if we have any similar interests! Part of the reason I brought up some of the stuff I'm into in the first place is because I would love to meet anyone else with similar sensibilities to discuss my passions with. Finding common ground in such topics is excellent to develop a friendship through, and I am definitely looking for friends.
If you actually bothered to read all this, thank you, and I apologize for my rambling and awkwardness! (Introductions are seriously difficult.)
