So I took a little hiatus from the WCRF, but I'm back! I just finished my first semester of college and I'm off until late January yayyyyy!! Anyhoo, I thought I'd spend my time with a brand new multiple Clan RP! SO I've never done a 3 Clan one (I usually do 4 Clan), so let's do it! If you want to take a Clan or an important position, just ask! And also, I have no coding skills whatsoever, so coding is MUCH appreciated for the Clan pages!I'm thinking a wintery theme since it is Christmas time! <3

Are they all going to have separate traditions, or is it going to be more uniform? If so, may we create the traditions of our own clan?

Tiny: Of course, claim one!! Ouuu I like the idea of more individual traditions! Go ahead and create some for your Clan! That's a great idea!

Heya!
I'm going to assume this takes place somewhere in England? (mistletoe is a European plant, with one species in Britain and only one other in Eastern US. Holly is much the same way, but it is a bit more widespread than mistletoe.)
If I may, I would personally like to name my clan Blizzardclan.
I must ask, how long have these clans been here? Are they just being founded? And, do you have ideas for major/minor plots or will we be making them during/after the creation of the clans?

[ sweetclover1: I like MistleClan!! I doubt a Clan would want to be called bleak.. XD But yeah I don't see MistleClan a lot and it alludes to mistletoe!
Tinyelephant: Oh yeah, it can take place in England!! That would make a lot of sense.
And yes, BlizardClan it is!
I think they have been around for at least a while, so they can be more settled in and structured. I do not have ideas at the moment, but we can create some together as we create the Clans! ]

Okay so we should come up with some traditions for the Clans perhaps? Well, since we are ultimately going our separate ways with traditions and what a clan believes in(what is a clan if it isn't different from the others?) For Blizzardclan, I was going to have them revere several different gods/godesses from their ancient past:
Brightstar(female)(orange tabby who is nearly all white, with blue eyes; she is blind.)- The goddess of starlight, the sun and moon.
Rainstream(male, deputy)(grey tabby, whose form is almost liquid)- God of water, fish, and swimming
Blizzardstorm(female, deputy and for whom the clan was named)(grey, with about half white)- god of the weather, silence and change
Boulderfoot(male, warrior)(grey tabby)- Deity of fear, boundaries, and the ground
Lightningfoot(female, warrior)(cream tabby whose fur seems to give of sparks of very bright light.)- Deity of energy, inspiration, learning, obstacles
Snailface(male, elder)(brown tabby tom, despite looking old and ragged is still, somehow, alluring.)- Deity of aging, elders, and experience
Doveheart(female, deputy)(lilac pelt, her voice is incredibly lyrical)- Deity of morals, chances/trust, and peace and alliances
Bleakface(male, warrior)(grey fur, with scars over much of his body and missing both of his eyes his body is incredibly warm, rumored to be made of embers) - Deity of strength, disability, determination
Dawnstar(male, leader)(cream tabby with white on his throat, his paws emit a bright, almost blinding light.)- Deity of Leadership, bravery, insight
Raincloud(female, warrior)(spotted grey tabby, her fur drips with water)- Deity of solitude, stability/security/sanctuary, and emotion, of screts and vows
Crownose(genderless, medicine cat)(she has a pure black pelt, and a third eye on her forehead)- Deity of prophecy, language/poetry, memory
Eveningheart(male, deputy)(dark grey pelt)- Deity of justice, cunning, of truth
Shadenose(female, warrior)(black pelt)- Deity of the hunt, tracking, and instinct
Kestrelclaw(male, warrior)(spotted chocolate tabby)- Deity of conflict, struggles, and protection
Rabbitflower(female, queen)(solid brown pelt)- Deity of fertility, kits, of fauna/flora/growth
Ravenleaf(male, medicine cat)(solid black pelt)- Deity of death, grieving, and celebration
Redcloud(female, warrior)(ginger tabby) - Deity of love, friendship, and longetivity
Blizzardclan cats do not revere starclan, obviously as such the leaders will not receive nine lives. Their "cat heaven" is referred to as Brightclan, and cats who die live with the gods and either looked up to or forgotten, maybe even revered to become a god/goddess themselves. When cats pass, while cats may grieve, a celebration of their life is held and most/some warrior duties are suspended. The clan may give blessings to the cat's body for them to have in Brightclan, and then the body is transported to a depression in the earth, like under a tree or a bush as nature is very important to the clans.
So, for ranks as far as blizzardclan goes: Eminence- The clan leader. Calls large decisions to vote within the clan, selects reliefs, assigns apprentices etc. May be closely connected to the gods but not necessary.
Relief- The deputy, acts for leadership when she/he/they cannot, organises ambassadorial meeting with other clans. There can be up to two, and either one may be selected to be the Eminence when he/she/they pass away. The clan leader typically seeks the advice of elders on who to pick as their reliefs, but not necessarily. Must have mentored an apprentice, and older than three years.
Mender- The medicine cat, typically a cat skilled or interested in healing.
and their Apprentice-
Warriors-
Guardians- the queens. These can be pregnant or nursing cats, or other cats who elect to spend much of their duties to the them, and may watch older kits who have been weaned from their mothers. Toms/non-guardians employed to help out guardians may watch over weaned kittens, and keep them occupied.
Apprentices-
Kits- cats in their early stages of development. Weaned by week 7-9, but can start eating some solids by week 5. eyes fully open by week 2(although kitten eye sight is poor), and change color from blue by week week 9. Able to play/be more active by week 4-5. Ear canals open, though hearing is poor, by 3. Although able to be away from the mother by week ten, they stay in the nursery.
Elders- cats who cannot continue to do normal warrior duties Of course your clans will have different belief systems, so go wild! |

She saw how rough and chaotic other groups of cats could be, and legend has it that she created HollyClan to help end the endless violence between other Clans. Those who worship her always try to follow in her pawsteps and be good and kind, for the world gave them life. Other legends say she named the Clan after the winterberry she was named after, the holly plant. Its beauty symbolizes grace, and beauty from within. A holly tree was planted many moons ago in the center of the HollyClan camp, and when there is a meeting or ceremony, the Clan leader sits upon the branch of the holly tree that sticks out from the center, and there he or she will make their speech. Because of the Clan's appreciation of nature like berries, the medicine cat is a very revered cat in the Clan, and very well respected. The medicine cat will often receive omens from Winterberry, pointing him or her in the right direction when necessary. They say that the medicine cat is most in touch with their revered she-cat, rather than the leader.
Contrary to the books, when the leader receives his or her nine lives, he or she receives the suffix of "berry", because as leader, they essentially represent Winterberry and what she believes in.

Ok so for my clans "religion"'it's going to have like a hierarchy.
It's called "Spirit clan" and it's pretty much like heaven, with a hierarchy:
Leader: Spiritwatcher- pure white she cat with golden eyes with large white wings
The council- a group of twelve cats who discuss things with Spiritwatcher, including what things are going on with Mistleclan, interpreting signs, and help create these signs to send to the medicine cats of Mistleclan. All cats on the council of pale golden wings
The guardians- each cat is assigned a guardian at their birth. Typically Mistleclan cats never meet their guardians but they are there, urging the cats away from danger if they foresee it (for example, a fox may be near by so a cats guardian will urge the cat to not go near the area.) they have wings that match their fur color
Spirits- any of the other cats who have died in Mistleclan, cats who haven't quite raised rank yet to guardian or Council. They have wings that are barely visible, that twinkle like stars
The innocents- any kit or apprentice who has died. They have to earn their wings somehow but once they do
Their wings are fluffy and white. These are the spirits who can be reincarnated, along with any other cat who's destiny
had been changed during their life (like cinderpelt in the cannon series)
