The Formation:The land was bathed in battles when the first leader of the tribe moved into the area. Although his name has been lost in time, what he did will forever stand. The tom first moved to the area with his mate, Flower. She was heavy with kits as they settled down near the thick brook. The tom was very welcoming to the occasional stranger that wandered by. One stranger warned him to move from the area. A dangerous tom named Rage lived here. He was very aggressive and loved to fight. Many cats had fallen to him in battle. But the future leader just shrugged and continued to live there until something happened. A she-cat came to their camp, hurt and dying. She had just had four kits and wouldn’t make it. The she-cat’s mate had died to Rage, and she hadn’t been able to fight off an ornap that had come to their den. Now, Flower and the future leader had their own kits coming and four extra kits. The tom was slightly worried but not much. Two days later, two young cats came wandering into the den, hurt and confused. Both of them were no bigger than a few Caeruleum moons. They told the tom that they had been chased by Rage and had gotten hurt. Although Flower agreed to take them in, the tom was now worried. He feared that something would happen. And, sadly, it did. Three more cats, later that moon, came to the tom and told them of Rage. They had all been attacked and needed help. The tom, not wanted to turn them away, agreed to help them in exchange for them to help with the younger cats, the kits, and his mate. They all agreed. These three cat would eventually become the first tribal runner, the first fighter, and the first hunter. They were called Bat that Flies with the Wind, Fog that Blinds the Senses, and Bird that Keeps Singing. However, the future leader knew that something had to be done. So he set out, early one morning, ready to fight Rage. When he approached Rage, he told him he had a deal for him. If he won the fight, Rage would have to stop fighting unless necessary and help him with the others. If Rage won, he and the others would leave forever and would spread rumors about him to stop others from coming. After a moment of thinking, Rage agreed and the battle began. It was hard fought and both sides were very close to winning. In the end, Rage lost. Just has he had promised, he followed the leader home. Rage became the first protector of the tribe and Rage that Scares a Storm. When more cats began to join them, the future leader stated that they should all begin and live together from then on. He became leader and named the tribe, Tribe of the Hidden Fireflies. And the tribe’s stories began.Finding the Tribe of Rising Stars:The Tribe of Rising Stars was not always part of tribal life. Although they did believe in their ancestors watching them, they had no way to talk to them. A young cat by the name of Calling of the Wind had been having strange dreams of starry trees and of cats calling out to her. She didn’t understand what it meant. One day, when she was out gathering herbs, an ornap chased her far from the tribe’s territory. Scared and alone, the young she-cat didn’t know what to do. She wandered around for a few days before something caught her eyes. It was a star shaped leaf. Curious, and hoping it would lead to the reason for her dreams, she followed the line of star leaves before she was surrounded by a large group of them. She was awed by their size and there beauty. However, one tree seemed to stand out. It called to her. She walked up the tree being helped by its twisted trunk and the vines clinging to it. She made it to the top where there was a large area surrounded by blue moss. Tired, after everything she had been through, Calling took a nap there and woke up in the Tribe of Rising Stars. She was afraid she had died there. But another cat, her mother, had come to her and told her of this place. She told Calling that the place she had come to was called the Tree of Rising Stars. If any healer or tribal leader needed to talk to them, they could come here. Calling woke up and raced home. It took her another day before she arrived and told the worried tribe of what had happened. The leader at that time called Tails of the Stars was the first tribal leader to receive his nine lives. The Great Flood:The tribe used to live in a different area than they did now. They used to live at the thick brook, just beyond the Barren Forest. This was before Star Trees were part of the territory. It had been a long, cold Time of Endless Freeze with a lot of snow. The Time of Endless Warmth had come quickly, melting all the ice and snow, causing rain storms. Although the tribe had lived through flood as before, they never had something like this. It washed away dens, drove prey away, and eventually forced the tribe from their homes after two cats died. They wandered for a little bit, further from the Thick Brook. The tribe stumbled upon a cliff just at the very edge of the territory. With a bit of exploring, they agreed to settle there until the floods went down. However, the flood had cut a new path in the land. Their old camp was gone. The tribe however, had found a happy home in the cliffs. The tribe now lives in the cliff at the edge of the current territory.Insamia Plague:During Moon of the Sky’s reign, a large pack of insamia took home just outside the territory. It was not uncommon at the time to have insamia around. However, they were always kept outside the territory. The few stray ones that traveled in were chased out. This pack was about 20 insamia. The tribe was very worried. Moon did her best to try and help their fears. She kept round the clock guards on the camp and made them patrol the borders more often. This, in the end, didn’t help. The insamia attacked the camp. Fighters and Protectors raced to help the tribe. Moon lost two lives in the battle. Six other cats died. Although the tribe managed to chase them off, the insamia taunted them from the trees and just beyond the border. Trainees were banned from going into the forest. Queens and kits were forced to stay in the nursery. The forest was suddenly a bad place for them. However, Season of the Calming Winds, an experienced fighter and queen (who had lost her mate by the insamia) thought of a new idea to fight them. She had developed a new way to climb the trees, an easier way of the previous one. A few other protectors and she were able to easily climb the trees and scare the insamia. The insamia, not expecting this, fell to the ground where the rest of the tribe was waiting. With the full force of the tribe and Season at the front, they managed to chase the insamia from the territory. Season, however, wasn’t done. She continued to chase and fight them till they reached the insamia home. There was another great battle. However, they didn’t lose another member of the tribe thanks to Season’s new battle techniques. They managed to force the insamia away completely. Tired but happy, the tribe returned home. Since that day, insamia are immediately chased out and away from the territory. Although not feared, they are greatly despised from what happened. The First Tribal Leader - There is little remembered about the first leader. It is unknown why. He is remembered however as a great cat who started the tribe and freed the cats from Rage’s terrible anger and thirst for battle.Rage that Scares a Storm – He is remembered for his terrible deeds before the tribe started and as being the first protector to the tribe. Although very blood thirsty, Rage was very smart. He was able to develop a way to keep the tribe safe in the brambles near the Thick Brook. He developed the battle moves used to fight the lornea. These moves are still being taught by the tribe today.Bat that Flies with the Wind – He is remember as the first tribal runner. Bat was so fast, he could easily run from one side of the territory to the other in one breath. Bat taught his trainees how to properly breathe while running. His tricks to helping expand a cats lungs are taught today to tribal runner trainees.Fog that Blinds the Senses – He is remembered as the first fighter for the tribe. Fog was used to sticking to the camp and guarding it from predators. He developed several ways to fight lorneas and zrangs. His techniques are still taught to the trainees.Bird that Keeps Singing – She was the first hunter for the tribe. Bird was a very sweet cat but very cunning. While she taught several techniques for hunting different things, she is actually mostly remembered for her sneak tactics. Bird was very crafty and actually protected the tribe several times by being about to outwit the predators after them.Rumble of the Mountain – She is remembered as the first healer for the tribe. She was the first tribal leader’s granddaughter. After seeing other animals use certain herbs to cure illnesses and talking to the Tribe of Rising Stars, she discovered several herbs and how to use them properly.Calling of the Wind – She is remembered as the cat that discovered the Star Trees and the Tree of Rising Stars.Suvece which Dances Gleefully – She is remembered as one of the cats that discovered the new (current) camp for the tribe.Jumping with the Wind – He is remembered as one of the cats that discovered the new (current) camp for the tribe.Moss which Sneaks up the Trees – She is remembered as one of the cats that discovered the new (current) camp for the tribe.Wish of the Night – He is remembered as the leader when the roxatave attacked. It is unknown what else happened.Ivy in the Forest – She is remembered as the bravest protector of the tribe during the roxatave attack. She lost her life trying to save the cats.Flower from the Mountains – She is remembered as one of the best healers for the tribe. During an overly hot summer, she was able to stop a massive sickness that washed through the camp. Unfortunately, she was not able to save herself from the same sickness due to lack of sleep and eating.Light that Blazes Bravely – He is remembered as a fighter that developed new moves to keep decimma from attacking.Season of the Stars – She is remembered as a fighter (before she became leader) that developed new moves to keep insamia out of the territory. Under Moon of the Sky’s reign, she managed to drive away the insamia that had infested the territory.

Against Tenedra - All tenedra have soft bellies so you want to go for their bellies first. There wings are strong but they get softer the farther from the bone you get. You will want to try and get them pinned to the ground first. Two tricks for this is to either have cats in the trees above to keep it from flying (the could yowl down at it or take turns swiping at it if it tries to fly) or have a cat on its back (too much weight for it to properly fly). Once that is done, go for the belly or the end of the wings. If you can get the edges of the wings, they will tear. Be carefully not to damage the wings too much, or it will not be able to fly away. This is very dangerous. You don’t want to kill it but chase it from the territory. Usually, after attacking the belly a few times with about four other cats, you can successfully chase the tenedra away. Against Timasite - There are currently no known ways of fighting against a timasite. Although you can easily run from one through climbing in trees, timasite have a very thick skin and very large fangs. It is very hard to kill one. However, it is theorized that you can chase one away by having a large group of cats (about 8+) constantly pressing in on the timasite (similar to what meerkats do with cobras). Against Insamia - There are several ways to fight against insamia. The most common and successfully way is to divide the insamia up. Make sure that they are separated from each other. Keep a few cats in the trees is a good idea. They can stop any insamia that try to escape and keep the others on the ground. When you manage to keep a insamia on the ground, keep an eye on their hands. Their claws are sharp and jagged. Try and get on their back. They can’t reach you from there and usually panic, causing them to blank out and want to run away. It is good for trainee fighters to go after their tails too. Their tails are very sensitive to the touch. Clawing at one will cause excessive pain which will make them want to retreat faster. Against Maguna - It is very hard to fight these creatures off. If you are grabbed by one, STAY ON LAND! Don’t go in the water. Try and pull the maguna from the water and keep it away from the water. The face of the maguna is unprotected and easy to get to. Try and claw that them there. While not fragile creatures, if you are able to roll while caught in a maguna’s claw, you can break that claw. However, you might break you own paw too. You can also crack the shell of a maguna by dropping on top of it from a tree. Against Decimma - The best way to fight against these creatures is to get up high. You cannot really out run them. The best thing to do is either climb a tree until they get tired and leave or try to get on their back and “steer” them away. Against Umpes - Umpes are very similar to fight off other cats. You fight them basically like you would a dangerous rouge. However, umpes usually won’t fight if they see they are outnumbered unless guarding their young. If two cats happen to stumble across a wandering umpes, it will usually run off without much trouble. Against Malmor - They are no known ways of fighting. You must hide or you will die. Do not attack or try to get them aggressive. Against Caenti - If you can get out of the water, you’ve won. If not, try and go for their gills. It is their weak spot. When their gills get all bloody, they will have issues swimming and get weaker. They will not be able to fight you and will, eventually, die. However, it is easier to try and get out of the water or to a shallow spot where they will be out of the water. Against Roxatave - Since roxatave are thought to have disappeared a long time ago, there is no specific fighting method for them. You will want to try and fight them like a regular cat or attack their wings. That’s about it.
Kit to Trainee: The kit has finally reached the age appropriate to become a novice. They are told to step up and then light the entirety of their markings. The leader inspects them thoroughly before announcing their future status. They then call upon a member to mentor the trainee, to which she/he would respond by lighting up their own markings. There, they touch noses before flickering them off at the same time. Trainee to Full Status: Trainees are to undergo a special trial to their respective categories. (Ex. A training runner must sprint to a certain point and retrieve something in order for them to pass. Protectors, I’d guess, would have to undertake all the “missions.”) Once that is through, they are to be presented to the leader, who names them a full hunter/runner/protector. They are to have their markings remain on the entire night at they do a sort of vigil. Full Status to Elder: Once more in front of their leader, an aging individual must light all their markings before dulling them slowly. As this is happening, the leader recounts their service to the clan, and how they hope said feline will be at peace in the elder’s den. Death: The cat is taken to the healers’ den where it is the rubs down with sweet smelling herbs and flowers. The cat is then cleaned up (eyes are closed, blood from fur is removed, etc.). When Sanguis has set, the cat is then taken out to the camp clearing. There, the leader will call to the Tribe of Rising Stars and tell them about this cat and wish them the best in the Tribe of Rising Stars. The healer(s) then bring fireflies to the dead cat to gather around with the tribe and the cat’s closest friends and family. At the rise of Sanguis, the dead cat is then taken to be buried. Name Change: Rarely, if there is a name change, there is no specific way to do it. The leader calls the tribe, calls the cat forward, shocks everyone, then life continues on as normal. XD

Flora: Folina – A large, large bright green leaf with bright blue dots all over. There are thin, darker green veins that run through it. The macula is a very common plant. It is mostly found around the Trees of Hidden Secrets, Thick Brook, and Star Trees.Twisting Ivy - A very delicate, dark green ivy that creeps not over trees but the ground. While being incredible thin, they are very numerous. They like to crisscross over each other. If you can get them in a bundle together, they can be used to carry herbs, prey, or even drape over bushes for extra strength.Firefly Fern – A large, bright blue fern with beautiful, red-yellow flowers on them. These flowers (called Aurme) produce a sweet, golden honey that attracts bugs and a few types of animals. Most notably, they attract Fireflies. These bushes are only found around the Whispering Hollow with a few near the Star Trees. They are very special plants.Malili – They are the large, glowing lily pads on the Thick Brook. They are large enough to easily support a cat and light up in ripples when you step on them.Emerald Moss – A type of bright green moss that grows all over the trees near the Thick Brook. It is very thin, however and cannot hold much water. It is often used for bedding. There are little, white “feelers” all over.Magma Flower – A tiny little flower that blooms on the Emerald moss. Although not very large, they are very pretty and eye catching.Feathered Birch – A large, almost silvery-looking type of tree. Instead of bark covering the tree, however, it grows a type of fur all over it to protect it. Although the tree is dark in color, the “fur” has a silver tint to it. These trees also produce a golden colored apple called a dupomum. These fruits are very juice and attract several suvece. However, these trees are located just outside the territory near the malmor nest. It is quite a walk and almost out of the territory.Rufum – A very tall, very thick type of tree similar to red wood trees on earth. These trees have dark brown trunks with light red underneath the bark. The tree and roots are poisonous if consumed but the bark is not. The leaves are a bright green with even brighter green flecks all over in a random number and pattern. These trees make up the majority of the tribe home.Pluvno – A large, purple tree with white, trumpet-shaped leaves. These leaves are known for collecting water in them and creating little puddle environments in them. These trees are everywhere in the Trees of Hidden Secrets.Caerugno – A large, dark blue tree with aqua blue luminescence underneath the bark. It shines out through the cracks in the bark. The trees are also very abundant throughout the forest and are great to climb on.Paltem – A skinny, bark-less, pale looking tree with wiry branches. These trees produce no fruit and a rarely flowers. Theses trees grow together in order to share nutrients in the area.Virium - A very thick bush with thin, flexible branches and a dense rooting system. The leaves are a dark, dark green with bright green veins that glow brighter at the height of the “day.” The branches can sometimes be used to weave around the camp to make it more protected.Ramiqua - A thick trunked tree with very thin, willow-like branches that have blue, wavey luminescence that go through it. The leaves are purple that vary between circular and over. The leaves have just slightly lighter luminescence on them. They drop little seeds that have a mixture of blue and purple luminescence on them. These trees are common around the Thick Brook.Redarum - An eerie red mushroom fungus that looks a lot like the ones on earth. They have a red dome with white freckled luminescence. The underpart however is pitch black with the same freckled luminescence. Often nicknamed as “Star Fungus” they can grow to about a cat’s shoulder. They rarely grow in the territory but are seen as protectors of dreams. If one was to bring it back to their nest for the night, they are sure to have good dreams.Tiaciux - An odd fungus that looks like it is made out of pure orange luminescence. This fungus is know to crawl over decaying trees or plants. They give off a faint odor in order to encourage other creatures not to eat it. However, vex-vem seem to enjoy them.Nae-iam - A wildflower with a mixture of yellow and white petals. The stem itself is a pale green with slightly darker leaves. The plant’s luminescence are little blue dots in the center of the flower. The dots look similar to rain drops. When a bug lands in the center, the petals close and trap the prey.Belori - A collection of wildflowers that bloom on a rough, brown stem. These flowers come in various shades between blue, purple, and violet. Each flower has little yellow speckles in the center to attract bugs to help them pollinate. It is a very pretty plant that grows throughout the territory. Flavam - A type of vine with thorns that grow all over. They hang from tall trees due to the fact that their flowers need a lot of moon-light to grow. The thorns have yellow bioluminescence tips with the leaves having the same thing. When dried out, the vines become stiff and hard to move or break. They can be woven around the camp to keep predators out.Violet Moss - A curly-looking moss that hangs from trees (similar to Spanish moss). It is dark purple with striped, light purple luminescence. The moss provides the perfect home for leave eating bugs. Most of the time, the branch that the moss hangs from loses its leaves due to the bugs. Venba - A type of grass with a slight aroma to it. It grows taller than normal grass and likes to hang around trees since it grows so well around decaying leaves. It is a soft green in color with no luminescence. It does flash its veins when it is disturbed.
Fauna: Bulla – A round-ish, clear, jellyfish looking thing that floats through the air during the Time of Endless Warmth. They aren’t edible and don’t do much. They mainly just float around the east part of the territory. If not for the faint blue/purple light they gave off, you almost wouldn’t see them.Butterflies – Similar to the butterflies on Earth, these butterflies come in a number of colors. However, these butterflies have see-through wings similar to dragonflies. The only thing you can see are the bio-luminescence on them.Raesu – These creates are very similar to long-horn cattle on Earth. However, they have the horns of a moose but much more complex. They are dark green in color with white, luminescent stripes across their backs. Their antlers are white or silver. They are too big to be hunted for prey (at least 8-10 feet in height). They live in peace with the tribe.Feavis – These little birds are made out of pure luminescence. They are very tiny and glow a bright, bright blue. Feavis are similar to hummingbird but have two extra wings. They drink the nectar from flowers and like to nest in pluvno trees. These little birds are not hunted for they are too small to even bother to eat.Rain Frog – They are a very tiny type of frog that is found only in the puddles collected by the leaves of the pluvno trees. These little frogs have no luminescence. However, they aren’t preyed on by other creatures for their tiny size (smaller than a kit’s paw pad). They are easily subjected to the weather so their numbers are few.Newt – These creatures are almost exact to the ones on Earth. Their only difference is that they are black and have either blue or green luminescent dots on their back. They live high in trees to avoid most of the predators below. They have a variety of different looks with some having different leave-shaped tails while others might have spikes or a longer tail.Spec Bat – They are a dark violet colored bat with fur all over, very large ears and eyes, two sets of leathery-furry wings, and no teeth (just gums). These bats come out from caves when only Spec is in the sky, no other time. They are actually really cute and very sweet. They only eat buds from the trees and a few bugs.Aupi – These little fish live in the Thick Brook and Whispering Hollow. Although too small for the tribe to prey on, they are prefect for the rest of the fish. They are similar to goldfish on earth. They have very fancy tails and big eyes. They are very brightly colored too with no luminescence. They are very common and very curious things.Recotice - These creatures are very similar to turtles on earth with shells on their back that they can curl into. However, unlike turtles, they can fully seal themselves in it. They are also furry and smooth rather than bumpy and slightly scaley. They have six eyes and clawed feet. The shell is a checkered board pattern of deep green and black. The luminescence on them varies in color and pattern like cats. Each one seems unique.Duora - These creatures are small, furry animals that move on their back two legs and use the front two to dig into the ground to rest. They are very strong but smaller than the tribe cats. As such, they leave the tribe alone while occasionally traveling through the territory. They have a thick, muscular tail and very small ears. They are very dark in color, either grey or black in color with red or orange luminescence on their back legs and tail.Lusispi - These creatures are very small, salamander like creatures that are pitch black with either orange, red, yellow, or blue luminescent dots on their back. They have a thicker tail with fins on it to help them swim in shallow waters. They either like to live near mud or in shallow puddles.
