Welcome, to the Writers' Guild! Originally we were a very large thread on the original Warrior Cat forums. Due to the unfortunate closure of the forums, we have now moved our castle and our home to this new, as of yet uncharted land. Whether you're returning home or joining us anew, welcome, and I wish you many friends and plenty of fun!
Our main purpose is to develop our skills as writers, but also just have fun. If you wish to join us, expect plenty of randomness, but don't worry, if you want to have a writing chat, we can provide that too!
History of the Writers' Guild
Our modest little world of magic was originally created 10th April 2011. For five years we grew into a family on the original Warrior cat forums. Now we are exploring uncharted territory, making new friends and new adventures 
Guild Leader and Councillors
Greetings! My name is Silver and I run this Guild as Guild Leader. If you have any questions, queries, or suggestions as how to improve the Guild, please feel free to speak up - your voice shall be heard  If I am not around, please feel free to chat with one of our Councillors, their names are listed below. They are members of the Guild who have been here for awhile and I am sure are happy to lend a helping hand.

Guild Rules
As well as the forum rules, below is the rules that our members abide by. Breaking these rules could result in a ban, either permanently or temporarily.
1. You will not copy any ideas found here no matter how small. It is classified as plagiarism and is illegal.
2. If there is an idea that you like the sound of ask the user if you can do something similar, if they say no deal with it, it means no.
3. Do not quote any posted work, this means that if people do not want their work kept on the page they can delete it.
4. When reading someone's work give both positive points and improvement suggestions.
5. Do not post more than five chapters of one book. Reason: People will not have access to your entire book but also a publisher can not decline your book due to many people have public access to it. Note to those who wish to publish. Do not leave any copies of your work, any ideas on the forums for any longer than necessary. Publishers will have a very dim view on this as you are leaving your work to be viewed openly by all users. It is fine to post the five chapters but do not leave them here for more than a day. ((This is not a rule, but a guideline. Your choice as to whether or not you choose to follow it.))
Guests to the Guild
Whilst we would rather non Guild members do not post here, there's nothing we can do to stop you. Preferably, if you do post here, we would prefer it if it was because you are requesting a review on a piece of writing you've submitted to the forums, or you're calling someone away to another thread. Again, we cannot stop you from posting, but please try not to unless it meets the suggested topics.

If you're attempting to provide them with improvements then please follow this layout:
Quote the sentence--or part of sentence--where you are making the suggestion.
quote:
. the she cat ran.
Then make your comment for improvement below. I.E. It should be, ". The she cat ran." You could also do with expanding upon this sentence through adjectives. etc.
How to deal with a rule-breaker
1.) One person tells them to please stop whatever they are doing that goes against the rules. There is no need for every person to hound the user in question. Allow one person to respectfully speak with the rule-breaker, and allow that person to fix or delete the post that violates a rule.
2.) If a banned member tries to post here, ignore them. Do not acknowledge them whatsoever.
