"Eh, I thought as much," Ciel muttered, looking at the group as a whole with a sigh. He smirked slightly, tilting his head to one side. "I am probably the last person to trust." The boy took a step back, now looking past them. "However, I must warn you, I am of no use to your group. The three of you seem to be getting around quite well."

"Wonderful," the girl said, picking up her pet cat as she took a few steps forward, staring from the death book to the letter. "So," she took the card from the cat's jaws, holding it out to them for a second before just tossing it at the floor to their feet. It was mostly just a welcoming letter, with some scribbled writing at the very bottom. "I must say, I don't know what the letter is, but the book I know about." Mikaela looked at the book for a moment, then looked over at the other two. Conan picked up the card that the girl had thrown. He read it, then passed it to Mikaela. Kid rolled off the top of the bookcase and landed gracefully. "You are the one who brought us here," Katio stated. He was looking with narrowed eyes at the girl. Conan didn't see the real problem, Kid knew. He would be to caught up in the mystery. But Kid had a life to live. He had a job, no matter how illegal, to get back to. And this girl was the reason why he was here. Conan held his hand out for the death book and Kid passed it to him. Conan flicked through it until he found a name that he remembered. "The letter is from another...person... here. There real name's Lincoln Gilroy. Though, I have no idea what it says."

Mikaela took the letter from him, still not bothering to read it as he watched the group speak.
The girl stared at Kid with a grin, nodding curtly. "You're really a smart one, aren't you?" She muttered sarcastically with a soft giggle. "Anyways, this Lincoln Gilroy figure," she gestured toward the letter. "I don't know his intentions behind that note. Maybe they wanted to warn whoever found it, maybe not. I do not know the answer to that. The only way to find out is to find Lincoln for yourselves." She held out her hand, the cat leaping to the ground as a small orb began to grow in her hands, now showing the location of everyone she had trapped here. "Gilroy is in one of these locations, good luck." There were multiple dots both in the forest and in the town.

"Were you the one who attacked me?" asked Conan, trying to figure out the placement of everyone. "When I first came here?" Kid studied the orb. It was like a more detailed version of Conan's glasses. "Can you sense any of these people?" Katio asked Mikaela. He looked up from the orbs and looked at the girl instead. "Are you on our side?" he asked. It was a clever questioned. At least from his point of view. Was the girl, who had trapped them here, willing to help them out? Or was she simply playing a game with people as pawns.

"But you may need some help," Miroka commented with a smirk. The child was a blue blood- one who probably never had to live on his own. Thankfully she had a few centuries where she was a tad homeless- living on the streets and in forests.

mintedstar/furMikaela looked toward the bookstore entrance, shrugging. "There have been a few people in the town besides us recently," he replied simply. "It can't get anymore specific than that." "Why would I dare attack a cute little boy such as yourself," the girl replied with a wink, moving the orb to the side to stare at him, then, she glanced at the other two. Only after the vampire finished did she continue with Kid's question. "Am I on your side?" She repeated with a tilt of her head. "Would you even believe the answer I give you and would it really matter if I'm on your side or not?" Her attention was back on the orb. "I will just say I am willing to help you all." -- sweetclover1Ciel snorted, shaking his head. "I thought I've already told you I don't need any help. From you especially," he replied, turning away from the group and began to walk away. He knew this wasn't going to stop them from following, but he really couldn't think of anything else to do. "I am not that interesting, as you might have noticed earlier, plus I don't think your weapons like me very much."

Kuragehime Sora shook his head, holding out a few berries. “No, no, he’s fine. I picked these berries for us to eat, after all. I just wasn't expecting my sister to find another group wandering around,” he stared. “Say, do either of you know why you're here? Just wondering because we don't know the answer to that.” Hello!]] Hozuki shook his head slowly, frowning. "I am afraid not. We were going about our daily activities as usual when suddenly the scenery changed around us. I thought I had taken a wrong turn somewhere, but found that was not the case," he said, crossing his arms. He was starting to get worried about the world he had left behind, though not a shred of this showed on his face. Things were certainly starting to fall apart by now without him there to keep everyone in line.

Kuragehime(Hello. What's up?) "Oh, see sis, we're not the only ones," Sora muttered softly with a smile, then beckoned them forward. "And you two, please eat whatever you wish and make yourselves comfortable!" Shiro shrugged, grabbing a handful of berries before heading over to one of the flat rocks, taking a seat. "Later on, the group heads out to search for a better place to stay," she little girl said, popping a berry into her mouth. "Hozuki and Shiro are coming too, right?" She asked them.

Kid frowned. He would have liked a straight answer. But there really wasn't much he could say, now that he'd asked that. Conan looked at the orb again. "I think our best bet is to try and connect up with another group." He pointed at different clusters of dot, two or more. "That will strengthen out odds." Kid looked at him. "Or odds?" he didn't understand what the detective meant. The little boy looked up at the creator of this world. "You are going to help up get back. How are we going to do that?"

Mikaela grumbled something under his breath, not really liking the idea of having to go look for another group. He was fine with how few people there were already. "Is this really needed?"
The creator grinned, the orb growing smaller until it disappeared completely. She placed a finger to her lips, shaking her head. "Oh, I mustn't spoil that part yet. You will see once the time has come," she muttered, "if it ever does." The girl took a step away so there was a clear path out of the bookstore. "Now, I won't always be with you, but if you ever need any help don't be afraid to call out. I will be watching the fun unfold."

Pawns it is, thought Kid. He nodded carefully to the girl. "What should we call you?" he asked, already starting to walk out. Conan stayed a little bit behind, answering Mika. "I might have another idea, but I'll tell you later." He carefully eyed the girl. He didn't like playing games. But what choice did he have? Kid stared across an invisible line. On one side was him and the girl, on the other Conan and Mika.

Not much, how about you?]]
"Hozuki! Hozuki! I wanna go explore!" Shiro barked, interrupting as the demon opened his mouth to speak. The dog was bouncing back and forth, tail wagging like crazy as he stared up at Hozuki. "Kakisuke and Rurio are gonna be so jealous! And Momotarou too!"
Hozuki let out a quiet sigh at the dog's enthusiasm. "I'm sure they will be thrilled to hear about it," he said, patting Shiro on the head to try and calm him down. "Yes, we will join you when the time comes," he then added, giving the two siblings a more formal answer.

mintedstar/fur"Rin," the girl replied, looking away from Conan and toward Kid, tilting her head. "My, you sure do daydream a lot, hm?" She gestured over to the child and the vampire who was now following him. "You might want to catch up, darling~" Mikaela blinked and nodded at Conan's statement, not looking behind him as he made his way out of the building. Once he was outside, he tried his best to see if he could sense anyone else nearby, but all the scents were mixed up. "Lets go the way we haven't been yet." -- Kuragehime(Yeah same here.) Shiro only nodded her head and continued to eat as Sora began pacing. "It would be great to have you! Say, you don't look human," the older teen paused, looking over at Hozuki, "do you have any special abilities that might be able to help us out in this world? You see, my sis and I are just sit-at-home gamers; well we used to be, and we don't have any special abilities. My sis is extremely smart, though!"

Kid followed Mika and Conan, who were now ahead of him. "I think we should split up," said Conan. It was sudden, but he had been think. Kid looked at Conan in shock. "Is that a good idea. If you do that in a horror movie it means that someone dies." "This isn't a horror movie," snapped Conan. His broken glasses nearly fell off his nose. Kid had given them back to him at one point or another. "I think that one of use should find one of those other groups," continued Conan.

Mikaela thought about it for a moment, then nodded, looking back at the other two. "We would cover more ground, so it would be a more efficient way of searching," he agreed. "And we could meet back at the bookstore by nightfall, with or without the found group." He stopped walking. "But that means no one runs off. We will all meet back here later."

Kid nodded in agreement. Conan looked up at Mika. "I'm coming with you, Mikaela. It will be easier to track each others movement then." He took his glasses off again and tossed them to Kid. Katio caught them with ease. "Kid here can shoot off a flare if he's in trouble, but I don't have anything I can use to tell him if we are." He played around with his belt. "Best I have is a few more of my friends inventions. I don't think that I'll need any help." He looked at Mika and his gaze said that the vampire couldn't protest.

The vampire shrugged, looking from Kid to Conan. "That sounds fine. Though, if he does get himself into trouble, that sucks," Mikaela muttered, crossing his arms. "But we could probably get to you in time, Kid, if you need it." He turned around, beginning down the empty street to where he remembered the dots were shown. "Lets go fine that other group."

Conan had to jog to keep up with Mika, but he didn't mind. He didn't look back at Kid, who was left standing in the middle of the road. He looked up at the vampire. "You seemed a little surprised that we're using fake names." It was a statement. Conan was seeing if the boy would ask about it.
Kid was left in the middle of the street, watching the two boys disappear into the distance. He shrugged, checking to see that the glasses were still working and in which direction the pair were moving. Then he pocketed the glasses again, shrugged, and started to walk for the nearest sturdy building. He didn't feel safe out in the open. He could also get a better view from the air.

Mikaela looked down at the boy, just barely slowing down so he could keep up. He brought up the fake names for some reason. Did the kid really want him to ask about it? "Maybe I was a little surprised. I don't understand why you would use a fake name to begin with, but that's none of my business," he replied simply, looking up and around again. "Unless you'd like to tell me."

Conan shrugged. "He, meaning Kid, uses a fake name because he's a thief. His know in Japan as the Phantom Thief. But his police number is 1412. My father, who helps out the police, say a reporter write down those numbers and misread them as KID. So he's now called the Kaitou Kid." He sped up a few feet, shoes pounding into the cracked pavement. "I use a fake name because..." He sighed, debating whether he should say anything or not. "I use a fake name because a group of people want to kill me. I've...changed my appearance, so I had to change my name as well."
Kid launched himself from the roof, white cape becoming his hang-glider. He flew over the town, looking for any moving shapes. He was searching the other side of the city, so he was confident that he wouldn't run into the two he'd just left.

"Really? I wouldn't have expected Kid to be a thief...he doesn't even look like a professional," Mikaela mumbled, watchifng the child, who was now walking ahead of him. "And someone tried to kill you? Why would anyone want to kill a child like yourself?" He asked, though he wasn't really expecting an answer as he continued forward. He moved his cloak to the side, grabbing something from his belt.

"You'd be surprised. After all, I don't look like a detective," said Conan. "Kid mainly targets jewels and has never been caught by the police." "Yes, a lot of people would like me dead, believe it or not," said the boy as answer. Conan heard the movement of Mikaela's cloak and carefully asked, "What are you reaching for?" He placed a careful hand to his belt, prepared.

"You are right, I would not expect any of that," Mikaela muttered, looking down at the boy, noticing how alert he was. "Oh, do you not trust me? Don't worry, the only weapon I have is my sword." He pulled out a small vile filled with red liquid. "It's only this. I don't think you would like some, but I do have a few day's supplies of this. If we don't make it out by then, then either Kid or you will have to donate some blood." He smirked slightly, taking the cork off the top and slowly drinking it.

Conan relaxed a little, but didn't look happy at the prospect of being a possible blood donor. "I've only just met you, so please excuse me if I don't completely trust you to have my best interests at heart." He took his hand off his belt and clambered over a bit of rubble. "I wonder why Kid is even here. Or me for that matter. We are the only ones so far from the same world." He looked back at Mika. "You haven't run into anyone else besides us yet, have you?"

Mikaela lowered the vile, staring at Conan. "Oh I don't trust you either, so we are even," he mumbled, looking away from him some. "But yes, I have yet to meet anyone else. Kid was the first person I've met. We were in a forest then came here." He shrugged, looking into each of the stores they passed for any signs of people. "I haven't even met anyone from my world yet."

Conan grinned a child-like grin. "Why wouldn't you trust me, Mr.? I'm just a little kid after all." He turned back to the road ahead, making sure he didn't trip over anything. "Anyway, what else can you do?" he was talking about Mika's keen sense of smell. "Can you actually use that sword?" Conan still had his watch on, but he was saving the single dart for a really dangerous situation. He wouldn't be able to reuse it.

"Because you're human," Mikaela muttered simply, still not going into great detail about why he had such a negative view about humans. The vampire snorted slightly at the next question. "I'm a great tracker and fighter. And yes, of course I can use the sword, but it's not like any normal sword. Do you believe I wouldn't be able to defend myself?"

"It seemed quite unlikely that you'd carry it around without knowing how to use it," said Conan. "But you seem to have an interesting past, so I was unsure what to think. And you are a vampire, so I know even less." Conan didn't like not knowing things. He had used his time researching things he thought was important. Vampires had never been on that list. He didn't ask about Mika's reasons to distrust humans. He'd find out someday. And if he wasn't careful, his secret would come out. And with one attempt on his life, he wasn't sure that someone from the Black Organization hadn't been sucked into this world.

"You know nothing about vampires?" Mikaela asked. "Well it's probably best you don't know about any of the 'facts' people spread. For example, the sun has no effect on us." He continued forward, looking down at the child. "What about you? Are you able to defend yourself at all in any way?" The vampire slowed down a little as they made it do what must be the center of the town. There seemed to be an old, destroyed fountain, with a little bit of water still running.

Conan looked up. He saw the broken fountain and the cloak tower Kid had seen (though Conan didn't know about that) could clearly been seen a few blocks away. The second hand was broken and the clock was stuck at 6. "Oh? Want to see how well I can defend myself?" he asked the vampire. He pointed at the top of the broken fountain. It had a very said statue on top. The arms had once been stretched skyward, but they had broken off. The head was also gone. It was hard to tell it was of a person at all really. "I can reduce that to rubble from here," said Conan. He then hesitated. "Well, I can at least nock it over."
