(Sounds great to me. (Kid's going to do everything he can to make that happen. Conan too. Don't know about Monarch, though he might want to get back to his computer.)) "I agree. And I saw him head for the back," said Conan. He pointed in the direction Kid had head. Kid attempted to turn on the computer in one corner, but there was nothing to power it. He sighed and tried to look for anything else that would be useful. He pocketed a few random items. A pencil, paper clips, a roll of sticky-notes. But this back room offered very little. He turned to return to the main room when he noticed a small envelope. It was the lone piece of paper sitting in someone's in tray. He picked it up, looking at it. How odd.

(Sweet ah that just means I have to create another character. Oh well, she gets the fun job of stalking everyone :3 (I wish the best of luck to your characters.))
Mikaela stared toward the back of the bookstore, nodding as he began heading over that direction slowly, glancing back at Conan. "Since he has the back covered, I guess we can continue looking around up here. But I wonder, would he tell us if he found anything?" He asked, heading down another aisle of the library.

(Yes, a very fun job. (They will need it. Really, really need it. )) "Depends," said the detective. "If he feels that he can gain something from showing us, he will. But he's the type who likes to pretend he's a loner and doesn't need anyone. So he won't show something to us if he will gain from keeping it." Kid was the type who like to stay on the sidelines of someone else's action. He did this because he was always waiting for the right moment to steal it. Kid read the letter and frowned. The gloom made the words hard to see. But this letter wasn't as old as anything else in the room. It was typed, but it looked like it had been made on a computer. At the bottom a word was in the place a name would be. Monarch? thought Katio. Like the butterfly? He heard Conan's words, just outside the door, and pocketed the letter too. Smart as ever, little Shinichi.

(Oh no what have I caused now xD man now I can't wait for the first time she shows up.)
Mikaela nodded with a frown, pausing beside one of the shelves. "Oh he would really do that? I guess it makes sense," he mumbled, looking toward the back of the store again. "Then maybe we should go try to find him. I think that he probably won't tell us anything, especially since I'm with you guys." He wasn't sure how they acted when they were alone, but he justed assumed they were friends, despite what they said earlier about being enemies.

(You've caused a plot to turn up. And neither can I.) "I doubt your presence makes much of a difference either way," said Conan rather cruelly. He walked on ahead until he saw that the personal only door slightly open. He pushed it open, but Kid had moved to another room. Conan closed the door a little and looked up at the lock. Fresh scratch marks caused by Kid's lockpicks could be seen. "He was here recently, the doors been picked." He took a closer look at the lock, too. The metal part that held the bolt was bent. "This doors been kicked down," he commented. "It's very neatly done and they tried to make it look like it wasn't, but someone busted in here by force. And it wasn't Kaito Kid." Kid had quietly moved around the bookshelves as Conan was talking with Mika. He hadn't wanted to be interrupted. He read the letter as he walked, more and more confused as to why it had been placed there. This Monarch had left a letter in a empty shop and had tried very hard to make a door look like it hadn't been broken down. For what?

Mikaela followed Conan over toward the door, staring at the lock with a quick nod. "That's strange. Why try to make it look like so subtle? Whoever was here was probably trying to hide something or they probably didn't want us to know they were here to begin with," he mumbled as he pushed opened the door again, walking past the kid and into the personnel only room, beginning to search around. There really wasn't much of anything, just office supplies scattered across the desk and on the floor. He shook his head, holding the death book out in front of him again. "I don't think we can find anything that will top this."

"I think Kid has already found something here," said Conan, looking around. "It probably will not top what you found, be he doesn't know about that yet." He pointed to the dust marks in the in-going mail tray. "Whatever it was it was the size and shape of an envelope. Someone left a letter here." The dust in the tray had been disturbed and the place where the thing had been could be clearly seen. "Seems kind of odd to leave a letter in a locked room, in an abandoned city. I wonder who it was for."

"That is strange," Mikaela muttered, not taking his eyes off the book. "Then maybe I shouldn't tell him about this until he's shared what he had frowned. Either that or I could find another way of making him speak." The vampire tucked the book away again as he took one last scan of the room before heading back the way they had come. Then, he began searching the aisles of books, looking for Kid.

And here comes the vampire, thought Kid. He couldn't make heads or tails of the letter. So he simple waited for Mika and Conan to catch up with him. It wasn't like he was hard to find.
Kid lay down again, wondering why people never dusted on top of bookcases. And why people never look up.
(He's hiding on top of the bookcase, if you didn't catch that.)

(XD okay. Also, I have to go for a bit.)
From where Mika was standing, he could obviously see Kid on top of one of the bookcases. He didn't even smile as he headed over, looking up at him. "Kid, I found you," he stated bluntly, looking back at Conan, then up at him again. "Also, did you find anything important in that room we just checked?"

(See you. I might be gone by the time you get back, unfortunately.) Kid tilted his hat so it rested over his eyes. "I should hope so. A few paper clips, an eraser. All very important offices materials." Conan looked heavenward and sighed. "Oh, and this." Kid held up the pale cream envelope. "Ooops." The letter dropped from his hand (he'd dropped it on purpose and he knew everyone knew it) and drifted towards the floor. "If either of you can understand it, please inform me. Looks like some type of code."

(Hello again and yeah you're gone.)
Mikaela sighed and was about to say something, then he actually revealed the letter. He grabbed it from the ground and opened the envelope, looking over it with a frown before handing it to Conan. "I don't know what that is," he admitted, then showed him the death book. "And we found this. The names of recent inhabitants and our names are even in here." He said, holding it out.

(And now you are gone. I probably wont be able to get on tomorrow. So here's a post to answer when you get back.)
Kid reached down for the book and flipped to the last pages that had writing on it. "Well, well..." he said, scanning the names. Conan tried to read the letter, but it wasn't truly couldn't be read. It included numbers and a few Japanese characters, but there also seemed to be some English letters, though the were upside-down or sideways. The only part of the letter that could be read was a English word which said, "Monarch." "Hum..." said Conan, trying to work it out. It wasn't any normal code. But someone had left it here. But for what purpose?
(The names written in the book? Are they the real names of everyone in this world or the 'nicknames' of them? What I'm getting at is would Conan turn up as Shinichi or Conan in the book?)

(I hope I didn't delete anything when I updated the page xD) Shiro looked back at both of them with a firm nod, soon stopping once they were far enough in their little camp. "Great, well nothing is needed right now. We just have to wait for brother and the other person to get back with the food, then we can try to find the closest town," she suggested. For your question about my nickname, anything is fine, some people call me Kura, others call me Hime, and some still call me Shade (my nickname from the old WCF) xD]] "Food? Did someone say food?" The white dog beside Hozuki finally stopped his humming and decided to listen in on the conversation. His tail was wagging excitedly as he stared up at the demon and the young girl. Hozuki shook his head. "Not yet, Shiro. You are much too impatient my friend." He then turned to the human Shiro, lightly holding his chin. "Has the area been explored much?" Anywhere I can throw in my other 3 charries?]]

mintedstar/fur(Uh that's actually a good question. I guess that it would just say their actual names, but if they have a ‘nickname’ it’d be in parenthesis.) Mikaela looked up at Kid for a moment with a shrug. “So far, that is all that we have found,” he stated as he soon looked away from him and toward Conan, peeking over his shoulder at the writing on the letter. “And I’m no help there, either. I understand the Japanese characters, but I don’t know what that could possibly mean or what the writer is trying to say period.” He took a few steps back from the bookcase, looking around some. “Does this mean that we should find another place to stay?” Kuragehime(Alright I just wanted to make sure! Also, there are two groups in town (Conan’s and Ciel’s) and also Sora’s group in the forest. I also have the “creator of the world” open.) Shiro looked back at them with a shake of her head. “We just recently set up this camp. We have not explored much.” After a few moments, an eighteen year old came out into the opening with an armful of berried and whatever else he had found to eat. He stared at the dog and the demon for a moment, heading over toward her sister. “Hey Sis, you do realize they were following you,” he said, setting the food down on a clean rock. Shiro nodded. “Shiro and Hozuki are going to stay with us,” she said, then looked back at the other two. “This is Sora.” Sora waved, chuckling nervously.

Ok!]]
Hozuki picked up the club and held it behind his back. He then bowed silently to the new human that showed up. "Greetings, Sora, pardon our intrusion but as this one said we will be staying with you," he said, gesturing to Shiro.
Dog Shiro trotted up to Sora and sniffed around the teenager a few times. "Hello! I'm Shiro! Those smell good!" the dog said, staring up at the berries in the boy's arms.
"Now, now, Shiro, those will be for everyone to share," Hozuki said, walking up to grab the dog by his red and white rope. "I apologize for him," he added. He then took several steps back from Sora, dragging the dog by the rope.

"I think it should be fine," said Conan. "From the look of the door, because it was repaired, they probably wont be back."
Kid was scanning the name's, and ran across Conan's. "Hey, Shinichi! You're names in here!" he said, grinning. Without looking up, Conan said, "Hey, Kuroba, your name's in there too." Kid frantically looked down the list, missing Monarch's real name entirely. His eyes were wide, and when he finally found his name he moaned. "It is."
And the secret that Conan had been chasing all this time was out.

Kuragehime Sora shook his head, holding out a few berries. “No, no, he’s fine. I picked these berries for us to eat, after all. I just wasn't expecting my sister to find another group wandering around,” he stared. “Say, do either of you know why you're here? Just wondering because we don't know the answer to that.” -- mintedstar/fur Mikaela just listened to them silently. He really didn't understand why both of them had given him fake names to begin with, but he wasn't going to ask any questions. It was probably a long, boring story. The vampire blinked, taking a few steps away from them once he heard a rustling noise coming from the front of the bookstore. After the rustling died down, a soft female voice could be heard. “I hope you boys are enjoying this world~” There was soft giggling as the rustling continued. The girl was actually fairly close; she was on the roof while her familiar, a cat, was inside the building. (btw if you wanted to see what she looked like, her form is on the front page near the top )

Conan and Kid looked up, both jerked out of there little worlds. They'd almost had forgotten the vampire had been there. Conan didn't really seemed fazed by that fact, but Kid felt a little bad that they really hadn't been including Mika in there discussions. Then the woman's voice reached their ears and both of them froze. Conan's eyes were drawn skyward and Kid's followed the cat. (Looking. )

Mika glanced over at the other two for a moment, then his eyes followed the cat as it made its way out into the open, sitting down in front of them. The cat seemed to be holding a card in its mouth, which had writing on it.
"I see you boys have already found items. Were they of any use or would you prefer an explanation? I know a lot about this world, after all!"

Kid spoke, "What do you think, Mika?" He looked at the card in the cats mouth and at the little red bow around its neck.
Conan folded up the letter and frowned. "The cat can't be talking, can it?" He didn't know whether the letter would be of any use. But the book Mikaela had found was invaluable. Was this a person trapped in this world? It didn't sound like it.

Mikaela glared up at Kid for the nickname for a moment before getting over it. He had only heard his 'family' call him that. Eventually, he shrugged. "I don't know. They seem confident, so it might not hurt. If so, we run," he whispered.
The cat's tail twitched as it raised one of its front paws, tilting its head. There came more rustling from the front of the store, then a figure appeared, standing next to the cat. "Well, is that a yes?" she pressed.

"Ah," said Conan, standing up. He studied the girl, eyeing her interesting cloths. He had wondered when the true speaker would appear.
Kid realized this was the first time he'd used the nickname. He'd been referring to the vampire as Mika in his head for a few hours now, but he clearly didn't like it. "Good idea," he whispered back. He turned to the girl and said, "It's a yes." Conan nodded his agreement.

"Wonderful," the girl said, picking up her pet cat as she took a few steps forward, staring from the death book to the letter. "So," she took the card from the cat's jaws, holding it out to them for a second before just tossing it at the floor to their feet. It was mostly just a welcoming letter, with some scribbled writing at the very bottom. "I must say, I don't know what the letter is, but the book I know about."
Mikaela looked at the book for a moment, then looked over at the other two.

(-Rolls in-) Miroka frowned, watching the boy look for them, and slipped out of sight, landing on the ground, the shattered glass making a soft crunch on the ground. She glanced at the other two, who where ready to go. "C'mon." (Hello, Hello!) Ciel was finally able to see them and took a step back, eyeing them curiously. "Why, what an appearance," he muttered, not able to take his eyes off of them. "How long has your group been following me? I don't appreciate it one bit- haven't you better things to be doing?"
