Akira looked up at Monarch with a nod. "So there are groups, which means attributes, stats, and manuvers." He considered. "Seeing as I won't be going anywhere, I might as well take a look at the field." He voice softened up. Turning to Monarch, his blank expression softened up. "I'm Akira" he introduced himself to Monarch and Rin, then focused back on Monarch, "you wouldn't happen to know what sort of abilities some of these other groups possess would you? mintedstar/fur AuranskyRin giggled softly, beginning to climb he tree. She heard what they said and nodded. "As he said, there are other groups here. Now, some are dangerous, so I would be careful," she stared calmly, pulling herself up onto the lowest branch. "And yes, of course I will be playing a bit! I tell you all what's going on and lead you all in the right direction! I might even hang out with you guys for a bit if you're find with that!" She briefly smiled down at Akira before quickly making her way up to Monarch. "I don't understand why you decided to climb up here in the first place if you can't get back down." She sat down on another branch, trying to get his foot free. -- Kuragehime, Mint (Oh man Prompto is awesome xD) Sora blinked, moving a little more so he was able to look over his shoulder, then took the camera as it was offered to him. He flipped through a few photos, grinning. "Oh wow yeah, this is pretty cool!" -- sweetclover1, --cato phoenix, Mint "Yes, if there was something valuable at this bookstore, then he would have already gotten it. He might have even ran off to do just that, but he did seem determined to show us the store," Ciel shrugged, not really sure what to think. -- Fire the Watcher of the vale, Mint, Hime (Sorry for the short reply) Yuichiro was still listening to what the other group was saying as he payed all the branches and sticks down, beginning to build a small shelter.

"I'm going to build something for saphira." Eragon informed the others. Eragon moved a little ways away from the others, as not to deter them from setting up. "Deloi moi." He stated. Suddenly, the ground began to shake. A large chunk of earth rose from the ground, shifting to create a cave-like structure. It rose to about thirty feet and was about twenty feet across. Saphira lent her strength as well, to prevent Eragon from having to used his stored energy. "Finished."

He returned his attention back over to monarch, a sly laugh escaping his lips, "To climb, but not be able to climb down, it makes me think of a cat. I like climbing, but then again just as quickly as I climb I'm forced down. Sometimes by force, or because I like taunting the authorities." He smiled softly at the thought.

Auransky broken "I climbed up here because I thought I could get down," said Monarch, in a slightly haughty voice. The comparison between him and a cat amused him a little at least. "I'm Monarch, by the way. I've only interacted with two groups and one lone...creature. Some have powers, others have technology, others are simply lucky." His foot finally came uncaught, but not without a price. It shocked Monarch so much, that his hands slipped from the branch he was holding onto for support and he tumbled downward.

He put his hands down and put them into his pockets, not really ready to tell the others is suspicions of Monarch. -- Fire, broken, Hime "Devil fruit?" wonder Kasha with some curiosity. He moved his fingers a little, making small patterns with the flames. He made one spin a lazy circle around Luffy's neck. He didn't take offense at what the pirate had said. Instead, he faded the flames to purple, then to orange. "I can make them turn any color I want," he explained. "Black and red are just my preferred colors.

"Yes," said Hyuse, turning around a corner. "There are quite a few, in fact." He wasn't paying attention to where he was going, so he fell right into the hole.
Around the corner, the concrete had split, leaving an rather large hole straight down into the subway system. Hyuse didn't even see it coming, so he plunged all the way to the bottom is a state of shock. He landed hard, the breath knocked out of him. "Gah," he said, back aching from the impact.

"Thanks," said Conan, referring to both Prompto and Hozuki. He didn't even think they'd have to wait very long for the fire to heat up enough to cook on because of that.
He eyed the metal-wire grocery basket and grinned. He tipped it over, picked it up, and placed the basket down over the fire. It only just fit.
"Instant grill," he said, cheered by the idea that he was making progress. With that, he started to work on a meal.
"Mind opening a few of those bags," he said to Hozuki, turning away from attending the fire to point to a few of the bags that used to be in the grocery basket.

He boy frowned, then looked back at Eragon and Saphira. "W-wow! That was sooo cool! How did you do that?" -- Auransky Mint Rin just listened, then finally spoke up, "the people I have brought here all have an equal chance of survival," she replied simply, stumbling backwards some once Monarch was free, but still managed to hold onto the branch. She blinked, watching him for a mime before extending an arm to try to grab him. -- --cato phoenix, sweetclover1, Mint "Calm down, human," Mikaela mumbled, glancing over at Kid for a moment before taking a few steps backwards. "It doesn't matter. Our plan was to go look for more information until we ran into them." Ciel glanced over at the other three he was with. broken mintedstar/furA sly smile flashed on Akira's face at the thought of being able to , yet having it backfire. His attention shifted back over to Rin, before returning back to Monarch. Akira waved at Monarch at the formalities of greeting. "I'm Akira, it's a pleasure to meet you..." He replied back. He nodded at the statements between Rin, and Monarch, A diverse, wide ranging group... He silently thought to himself. He had stepped too far forward towards the tree, Monarch was on. At the same time he was so distracted in his thoughts that he had not realized Monarch was falling. With little time to react, or act in the manor: all he had time to do was look up, then quickly brace for impact. Surely he would break Monarch's fall.

The larger the object or distance from the object, the more energy will be consumed. Use a spell that consumes more energy then you have, you'll die. Energy can be drawn from other living things, as well. Saphira often helps me with larger spells that would kill or severely exhaust me otherwise. There are a few spells that have never been completed, such as bringing someone back from the dead. It's been attempted by many magicians, yet none were ever capable and perished."

Auransky broken Monarch landed directly on Akira. Shock-waves lanced up and down his spine on the impact and Monarch howled. It probably cause Akira more pain did it did him, but he was to busy trying to breath to care. He was only just aware he was on the ground and he clutched his chest. He tried to breath in, again and again, but nothing helped. It took a couple of fearful seconds before he could finally deliver oxygen to his body. Monarch shuddered a little, pain in his eyes. "Owww," he moaned. --- I'll wait for Hime.))

broken mintedstar/furAkira collapsed to the floor, with the impact of Monarch. It was such a feeling of sudden rush, and at the same time utter pain. This incident only happened to him a few times back at school, but every time he could have sworn felt worst then before. Akira bit his lower lip holding in his own urge to mutter in pain, as it would do him no good, instead he focused on his breathing, then when Monarch replied in the least, he lightly rolled under Monarch to get away from the man on top of him. Once a bit away he sat up, readjusting his glasses, before letting out a long breath of air. "Don't mention it." He softly stated.

Auransky broken"I didn't," said Monarch, sitting up with a groan. "I was to busy dying." His hair was full of leaves and his eyes were still squinted with pain and he looked around like he'd forgotten where he was. "That hurt," he said, stating a, no pun intended, painfully obvious fact. His chest was still a mess of pain, where he had fallen directly on Akira. A small cut was on his hand and he studied it, wondering how he had gotten it. Possibly it had scrapped a branch on the way down or had caught on Akira's glasses.

Akira lightly chuckled at the thought, as he took a moment to stretch his back from where he sat. He had a sly smile on his face, this was amusing him a little too much. Then something caught him , or his glasses caught his attention to be more specific. He removed his glasses, taking a look at them, a bit of leaves were on the side, a stick caught on one of the legs, and a scratch along the outer leg was not noticable because of its black color, but upon feeling it, it was there. He removed all the derbis from the glasses, then decided to just put them away for now. It might be for the best, this person might be mumbling about the incident for a bit longer. mintedstar/furbroken |

Calli let out a surprised squeak when Hyuse suddenly disappeared, her feet stopping just before the hole. Her wide eyes blinked a few times before she jumped back a step and crouched to look down into the hole at him. "A-Are you ok?" she asked. The snail started to slip out of her arms and after fumbling around in the air a bunch she caught it... but her success was short-lived. As Calli held the snail out she felt herself leaning forward and before she knew it was falling through the split in the concrete. (Rip)

Noctis nodded to Conan. "No problem," he murmured. He brushed his hands together and nodded to Hozuki as well before heading back to Prompto and Sora.
Hozuki lifted his eyebrows, impressed at the young detective's resourcefulness. "Right away," he said after Conan's request. He reached over to grab the bags and then knelt down beside Conan and started opening them. He tore each open along the top with a single tug on the wrapping and handed them over one at a time.
Prompto flashed Sora a bashful grin and snickered a bit. "Heheh, thanks~ I try my best," he said.

"Yup. Devil fruit. You've never heard of 'em?" Luffy commented, sending a sideways glance to Kasha. As the flames changed colors they drew his attention once again, eyes sparkling and once more repeating how cool this ability was.

Auransky @mitedstarfur Rin giggled softly, realizing she had not been quick enough to help Monarch. She stared at them for a moment before beginning to climb back down the tree. "I hope neither of you are too seriously injured," She said, hopping the short distance and landing on the ground. "Because I was hoping you would all like to look around some!" -- Kuragehime Mint Sora chuckled, handing the camera back. "Hey, you know what, I think we need to hang out more often. You seem pretty cool," he said, giving him a thumbs up. "Plus we can like play games or something. I mean, you do like games, right?" -- @firestar24242 Mint, Hime Yuichiro was just staring at Eragon, nodding. "Wow, that's so interesting! I can't really do the same thing, but I can also do little 'spells' or 'chants' and the demon I have in this sword can help me fight. It's only for fighting, though," he said softly, tilting his head to one side. "Well maybe you do have what it takes to do this on your own. Still..." he returned to fixing the make-shift shelter again.

He poked a finger in the direction of Akira. He slowly rolled over, getting to his knees and then to his feet. "Uhhhh, I may die if we walk anywhere," he said, being over dramatic. He was grinning. "But sure. If he's alright." He looked down at Akira.

Prompto laughed. "Yeah totally! That sounds awesome!" he said, putting the camera away. "Noct and I used to play games together all the time in high school. Nowadays we don't really have time, and it's kinda hard to bring video games out on the road with us." He frowned a bit, remembering his phone was still out of battery and looked around the room. "I wish there was some way to play here..."

Akira chuckled, this was more entertaining then he expected. It was such a change in the atmosphere, then back home. Feeling so oppressed, and restrained. Here the air was clear, the aura was more forgiving. He was perhaps liking the idea of sticking around for a bit. Maybe sidetracking wouldn't be bad? Afterall new people means new interactions. New interactions meant social links, these social links would boost his powers, and someday he would reach ultimate balance in his abilities. He stood up now with a graceful nod, "I'd gladly lie to take a look around. Having a feel for the area helps avoid getting lost." He then shyly admitted. Kuragehime : (I'm almost done with that drawing I mentioned.) (Poor Calli.) Hyuse felt pretty bad. The ground below him was still concrete, even though it was cracked and small tufts of grass was growing out of it. He looked up, at the light drifting down from the hole. "Ouch," he said. Then Calli landed on him. When Hyuse could think again he genitally pushed the girl off him as looked around. At least it appeared that they hadn't fallen to far, none of his bones were broken. "You alright?" he asked Calli. -- Hime and broken : Conan started to dump a couple of the bags contents into a pan after a few of seconds. He hoped that they'd cook evenly on this fire. "Noodles," he muttered. "Hope that works for everyone." After he'd tended to the cooking for a little, he let the noodles sit there to finish. The detective looked over at Hozuki and said, "I haven't really talked with you much, have I?" -- Fire the Watcher of the vale , Him, broken: (Finally I found out a little more about Kasha's powers in vol. 6. XD I've actually been RPing him with the right ones, surprisingly. Considering what I just found out, him hearing Eragon's and Saphira's mental conversation is within his abilities.) "No, I haven't heard of them," said Kasha. He drew his hands together, making all the flames come together in a long, fiery line. "And however 'cool' the fire may be, it is still useless." He still smiled at that. "My skills don't lie in fire as much as they lie in the head. I can see what's really there. Disguises are useless against me." -- Auransky and broken: "Getting lost here is pretty easy," said Monarch. "It's a whole world, as far as I've seen. Who knows how far it all stretches?" He looked over at Rin, as if she was going to answer. "Anyway," he said to Akira. "Did I ever learn your name or did if I did, I just forgot it." He looked a little embarrassed. Falling out of a tree wouldn't have helped his memory.

"Oh it's not too big of a world," she replied. She honestly didn't even know how far the world went on for. "Oh also, we have a choice! Would you prefer to walk, or do you want me to just teleport us to the closest town?" -- Kuragehime and Mint Sora frowned a bit as Prompto said that. "Oh yeah...we sort of need electricity, right?" The young man sighed loudly, jumping up to sit on the table. "Well, we could always find a board game later. Chess is pretty fun." -- (And I'll wait for Fire and Hime) |

(Sorry for the poof. I just got horizon zero dawn and have been playing that a lot.)
(Minted, Eragon and Saphira can also detect when someone tries to enter one of their minds and can block it before anything can really be done to them.)
"I'd be interested in these chants you speak of." Eragon stated. "After we set up here, perhaps you could show me some of these abilities. Do you speak words in the ancient language? The ancient language is the only way I know of to use magic other than the random magical capabilities of dragons."
