Ok, so I have an idea for Hyuse and Calli... but it's actually more like two ideas lol]]
I was thinking, after they've traveled a bit or reached the city, something could happen (an attack, etc.) that would make it look like Calli actually does betray Hyuse (or the other way around). Second idea: if they go to the city where the other group is, something bad happens at just the right time for it to look to the other group that Calli and Hyuse are the cause of it?]]

"Likewise." Eragon replied with a nod. "Saphira should be right up ahead." The rider spun around and beckoned for yui to follow him before heading off into the trees and thick undergrowth, careful not to step in any hidden hole or some thorny bush. Saphira, we're on our way.
Who's we? She asked.
The man who was shouting. Claims he's a soldier, though I failed to recognise his nation. Something about him seems strange, though. Most people know or at least have heard of me, yet he didn't really seem surprised or astonished to see me, as most usually are. To be honest, I don't think he had a clue about me.
I know what you mean. Saphira responded. One of these two here claims to be some spirit thing called a yokai, and the other said something about being a pirate.
Alright. Watch yourself. We don't have any idea who these people are or what their real intentions are, and I'm sure one of Galbatorix's Loyalists would pay a fortune to the person who managed to kill us. They may be mercenaries.
Saphira swung her massive head back to look at Kesha. I do believe that is Eragon. She stated. I am curious as to how you make that fire spin around you. Is it a curse of some kind, or are you a magician? It seems strange to me that something so pointless would be a priority for a magic user.

The hands were still stuck, but at least it wasn't as dark as it had been the evening before. "Well, here we are," he said, stating the obvious. I'd be willing to do either one.  Idea 2 might end up lasting longer and being more interesting, since Hyuse would react to idea one by abandoning Calli (at this point, he wouldn't like it, but he'd say away from her.) Idea two means that their might be future conflict. ) |

His eyes didn't meet Prompto, he was to busy trying to make sure he didn't trip over anything. -- Hime: Hyuse looked back the way they had come, slowing until he was standing still. "I don't know about what Rin said, but it is the only city we now of within the area. If I knew we could find a closer one then I would say head there. But we don't. Even he would admit that it was mostly for show. It amused him and was a source of light if he needed it. He would not choose to extinguisher it just because it had no practical use. "Oh, I can't wait to meet your pet dragon or whatever you claim it to be!" He muttered, soon spotting the large creature through the trees, he still couldn't really see the other people at this point. "It better be friendly." -- Hime, Mint Shiro quietly followed after them out of the grocery store, but kept shooting glances at the others she was with. The girl walked down the same sidewalk on the way back to the hotel. "Is this all that was needed?" -- --cato phoenix, Mint, sweetclover1(Ok, so the other group with Miroka and Ciel are close now) Mikaela just stared at the clock tower, not paying too much attention to that either Kid or Arlo were saying. He was just taking in the surroundings. "There are others around here. I don't think they left the area," he warned softly.

"Let me clarify this for you." Eragon stated as he turned and stopped to look at Yui. "Saphira isn't my pet, She is my companion and my friend. We are partners of both mind and body. She isn't some beast to be controlled, but an equal. She is as intelligent as you or I, if not more so, so please do not act as if she were some inferior creature." Eragon then turned and resumed walking.
Strange. Saphira replied, slightly confused. You claim to be a spirit, yet the only spirits I've encountered were not of human form, but looked more like floating orbs of pure energy. To the extents of my knowledge, the only way a spirit is capable of assuming a human form is by possessing a sorcerer and becoming a shade.

She had the snail return to its natural form, fearing if she played anything it would catch unwanted attention, and held it tightly against her chest once more. She took a deep breath and glanced at Hyuse before starting to walk toward the city.

I mean, we know where this place is, we can come back if we need more stuff." Once the dog caught up to the rest of the group, he started to walk just behind Conan.

The emptiness in Luffy's stomach was only growing worse, but the pirate became busy with watching the conversation between Saphira and Kasha... well more like half the conversation. His gaze flicked quickly between the two, scratching at his head as it tilted questioningly to the side. "Huh? Eragon? Who?" he murmured after hearing Kasha's last question.

(Sorry, Hime, the group with Sweet ant my character is close to a group with Mint, Arlo, and my character. Sorry for the confusion  ) Fire the Watcher of the vale, Kuragehime, mintedstar/furYuichirou blinked at Eragon, a little surprised about what he had just said. He accepted it though, there wasn't much that he couldn't use against him. "I'm sorry about how I worded wpthat," he muttered softly, looking off in Saphifa's direction again. Then, he slowed down a little bit, now seeing the other two with the dragon. "Is that a-?" Yui squinted at the two people, trying to see if he knew any of them. "A vampire?!" He glared at Eragon, slowly resting his hand on the hilt of his sword. "I swear, you better not be lying to me about anything you said." -- Hime, Mint Shiro nodded as Prompto spoke. "Ok," she muttered simply as she continued down the sidewalk, stepping over a few patches of grass. "Maybe they've settled in by now," she added more quietly to no one in particular when she saw the hotel in the distance. |

Elwrin looked closer, spotting Kasha. "I don't know who or what that is." Elwrin replied. "I don't know if it's a vampire, but it definitely looks like a shade, with its red hair. A shade wouldn't just stand about talking, and I doubt there's a shade that hasn't heard of me since I killed Durza. They aren't fighting, so I have no clue." Saphira! That spirit thing, is it a shade? It looks just like one!
According to it, no. It seemed to have no idea of shades, dragons, elves, nothing. She replied.
"Saphira says it isn't a shade. It claims to be some form of spirit called a Yokai. Unless that's another name for a vampire, I don't think it's a threat, at least for now."
What is 'Japan?' Saphira asked Kasha. From context and what Eragon has told me, I assume it is a nation, but I have never heard of this place. Saphira looked over at Luffy. Eragon is my rider, and I am his dragon. We are partners.

It would be fun to see what this new person would do if he thought he was one. He smiled a little, showing off his slightly longer than normal canines. "Never heard of them." This was a lie. He wasn't that far behind the times. He turned his head to look at Saphira again. "I know what a dragon is, I simply said that you do not look like a Japanese dragon. They fly without wings and usually have a mane or antlers. Japan is a nation, as you guessed. Not much to say about it, other then that."

No, that's not another name for a vampire, but you can never be sure. He does have most of the characteristics of one," he said, placing a hand on the handle of the sword in case he tried anything. But he barely looked at Saphira. "Eragon, so this must be your dragon? It's nice to meet you, I guess." -- sweetclover1"There are others?" Ciel asked, but quickly quieted down once he heard the voices himself. He nodded slowly, grabbing for his pistol in case he needed to use it, but he didn't draw it quite yet. If this other group was dangerous and Miroka needed help, he would use it. "We should see if they live around here or know anything, but we should be careful." |

She hadn't heard anything yet but she didn't question him. One hand resting on the handle of her knife, she cautiously took a few steps away from the others, listening for anything unusual. At first she didn't notice anything, but after a moment she recognized the sound of hushed voices nearby. "Somewhere that way," she whispered, jerking head in the direction the voices seemed to be coming from.

Greetings, Yuichiro. Saphira addressed. Eragon tells me you are a warrior of sorts. I wonder what the extent of your abilities as a combatant are. I know that few besides riders are, but are you some form of battlemage, or are you incapable of using magic?

"Should we try and get there attention before we end up attack each other?" he muttered, trying to keep his voice down. Katio wasn't sure what to think of all this and he was even less sure whether he wanted to approach another group right now. He hadn't expected for anyone to still be in the area after the earthquake.

(Guess 2nd idea it is.) Hime: (Timeskip to city?) (Oh, and update on that piece of art. I'm almost finished. ) Hyuse began walking back the way they had come. His shoulders were hunched and he seemed to be, in general, his normal self. But he was thinking. He didn't like the fact that the only way to get out of this place would possibly mean that he had to interact with more people. He didn't like that at hall. He almost wished Calli would start playing again to distract his thoughts. -- broken and Kuragehime : Conan looked up at the old hotel and he pulled the basket closer. "Glad to see that that store isn't to far away." He smiled a little, though he really didn't feel it. "I believe I've stated this before, but I'll be glad not to sleep on rocks tonight." His arms ached from the weight of the basket as he finally reached the door. The detective looked up at the handle and once again was tempted to make someone else do it. But instead, he just set the basket down and jumped to reach the door handle. He missed and growled a little in annoyance. -- sweetclover1, --cato phoenix , broken "Says the vampire with his hand on his sword," muttered Kid. But he did put away his card gun. His eyes caught that of the second group and he frowned. "I think they've already seen use anyway, weapons and all. At least they aren't running away." That didn't mean that they were friendly though. -- Hime , Fire the Watcher of the vale , broken: Kasha leaned against a tree, still smiling a little as he waited for something interesting to happen. Luffy sounded hungry, so maybe they would have to find food. Or maybe this Yui person would try and attack him. It really didn't matter to the yokai. "You could just ask me if I was a vampire, you know," he said to Yui. "Or test it out or something?" Anything to add a bit of spice into all of this. |

Miroka nodded, following the boy quickly, Akio walking next to her, hand up and ready to draw a border if needed. Kikio glanced around, nervous, shifting on her feet before she followed the others, doubt on her face. The god paused for a moment, wincing and touching the back of her neck, the pain of doubt searing through her momentarily, knowing it came from the female Shinki, before continuing, trying to look relaxed.

She didn't have to have it if they got into a fight, but she didn't really want to use her powers either... if they were lucky they wouldn't need to fight at all. As she slowly moved forward, she spotted the first member of the new group, a boy who she guessed was about twelve or thirteen, and then the others behind him. They didn't really look like they were going to try to attack them, but it was best to be careful, especially in a world like this.

Maybe I'll wait."
