(Just wait until Yui sees Kasha. Apart from not having the uniform, he looks just like a vampire from Seraph of the End. XD ) Fire the Watcher of the vale and broken and Kuragehime: Kasha, surprisingly, could easily understand what Saphira was saying and a half grin crossed his face. "I am a Japanese spirit, a yōkai. I am called Kasha. And you?" The name held great meaning for other ayakashi, but this creature was not a ayakashi. He had little idea what a 'shade', 'dragon', or 'elf' was, so he decided to ignore what he didn't understand. The faint trails of his spirit fire played around his left shoulder and curled around his neck. He blinked lazily a few times as he waited for Saphira to respond. Kasha didn't even bat an eyelid as Luffy feel to the ground a few feet away. He didn't even turn his head. "Hello," he said, sniffing the air a little. "Human." He added, still not looking over. |

Kuragehime and broken"Do not," muttered Conan. "Considering what we've been through I'm being realist. We've been here two days and been attacked ones and an earthquake happened. Add to that the need to just survive and I'm being perfectly reasonable." He just picked an aisle and walked down it, not even caring that it seemed to be the one with the books, magazines, and crossword puzzles. Maybe he half thought something important would be down that way. --- Hime: "Don't worry so much," said Hyuse quietly. "If anything attacks us, monster or another group, I'll stop them." He was surprised that was how he felt on the matter, even though it would be to protect himself as much as Calli. He didn't look around, so all you could see from the back was his hoodie and, under it, his uniform.

Prompto couldn't help but agree with Conan as he stood with arms crossed, watching the empty street outside the broken window. The group had been through quite a bit in a short time, and he hadn't even been there for the attack. He heard soft clicking against the tile floor and looked down to see dog Shiro follow human Shiro down the aisles.
Dog Shiro walked down the aisle, sniffing food packages here and there with tail wagging. Everything smelled good to him. He stopped and put his paws up against a low shelf to sniff some things higher up. "I've never been in a place like this before!" he barked.

Calli peered up at Hyuse's back from her guitar strings and her usual smile started to return. "I'll do my best, too," she said. She looked down at the white spotted guitar. "Maybe I can have Maru turn into something useful..." she murmured. Her steps quickened until she was walking beside Hyuse and her quiet strumming resumed.

Luffy bounced a couple times and then sat straight up as if the impact hadn't phased him in the slightest. He placed a hand on the straw hat atop his head as he shook the dirt away and flashed a bright grin to Kasha. "Yo!" he said. His eyes were then drawn to the dragon a few feet from him and nearly popped out of his head. "Uwohoho!! A dragon?! So COOL!" he blurted out, eyes sparkling.

(Yeah Mint, I noticed xD that might be a little problematic for the group) Kuragehime, mintedstar/fur(I always forget Shiro talks in third person and little fragmented sentences, whoops) Shiro blinked, completely ignoring what Conan had to say. Then, she turned her head to look over at the other Shiro that followed after her. "A store," the little girl said. "If Shiro sees something, tell me." |

broken KuragehimeConan looked at a few women's magazines with a look of great boredom. He moved slowly, but nothing really caught his eye. "Anyone got a preference food wise?" he asked. "Something that isn't perishable, obviously. You might all be stuck with noodles." He walked a little way deeper into the store before he turned into another aisle, this time with pots, pans, and other kitchen appliances. --- Hime: "What can that snail turn into," asked Hyuse. He walked with long strides and his head was down. His eyes scanned the surrounding area and he wasn't sure where they should go. He had no idea where Rin had taken them when she had thrown them into that portal and if he even wanted to get back to the old city. A clue, she had said, was supposed to be in some clock tower or other. But should he trust that or, once again, even care? --- Fire the Watcher of the vale, broken, and Hime: (I think he even has long canine teeth. Can't confirm that, but I think he does. This is going to be interesting. XD ) "...Yo?" asked Kasha. He wondered what language that was supposed to be. It was clearly some type of greeting, but what did it mean? "Ah, is that what this creature is called? It looks nothing like dragons that I know of." the yōkai wondered. He'd thought that was what Saphira had meant, but he still didn't know why she had wings. Dragon ayakashi did not have wings and often looked very different than Saphira. Breaking out of his thoughts he finally turned his head to look at Luffy. His half smile, more of a smirk, was still on his face, but the look in his eyes often made up for that. "And you are?" he inquired.

(Just so you all know, Saphira can only speak to others via mental links. Elwrin can do it too, but it's considered rude for a person to do it without consent because it may intrude on the memories or thoughts of others.)

I am Eragon Shadeslayer, son of Brom and leader of the riders. That noise you heard was my dragon, Saphira. She had gotten wedged between a few trees, so she pulled one out to free herself. If you wish, I could introduce you to her. I promise she won't bite."
Saphira gave the yōkai another long, searching glare before replying. I am Saphira, eldest of the dragons in the entirety of Alagaesia. My rider and I found ourselves in these woods, and now we can't seem to find our way back out. Yet another voice sounded from behind her. Why does every person in these woods keep sneaking up on me? She asked Eragon, frustrated.
There's another one? Just wait a moment, and whatever you do, don't eat anyone. I'll be right there.
I can't make any promises. She replied jokingly. Swinging her head over to look at Luffy, she gave him a hard look and waited for him to answer Kasha's question.

She didn't even bother looking at the dates as she put a few cans of soup and other canned objects in the basket she held. "Doesn't matter," the girl replied to wherever Conan was in the store. "Anything." -- Fire the Watcher of the vale, Hime, Mint Yuichirou eyed him a little longer before finally nodding. "Sure, I guess I can believe you. I mean, they don't have dragons. And yes, I'd like to meet this dragon of yours," he replied with a smile, looking past him again. "Oh, and my name is Yuichirou Hyakuya, a private in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. It's nice to meet you."

Kuragehime, broken, Fire the Watcher of the vale(Would it be alright if I have Kasha hear her as well? Part of his powers or something? It's fine if not, as he likes to talk to himself anyway.) Kasha held out his hand and the spiritual fire gathered his his palm, lighting up his face. He turned his head a little again, his senses picking up someone else off a little beyond the trees. "Now, I wonder who that could be?" he said, thinking out loud. It was to dark under these trees, even though the dragon had pushed down a tree. "Yours?" he asked, turning back to ask the dragon, wondering if it was someone she knew.

With her shorter legs she had to jog every now and then to keep up with Hyuse but it didn't seem to bother her much. She held out the snail and it changed from a guitar, to flute, to violin, and then back to a snail. "He can turn into this too, I'm not sure why. He learned how from one of my trips to the doctor I guess..." she murmured, the snail then turning into a stethoscope.She looked at Hyuse. "I'm pretty sure this isn't a musical instrument..."

Dog Shiro looked at the girl and nodded. "Ok!" he barked. He reached up and bit down on a package of bagels and pulled it down to his level on the floor. "This is interesting!" he said through the plastic. However, to be completely honest, everything in this store was interesting to the dog.
"Noodles are great," Prompto called to Conan. "But I also like sweets, and spicy food... well, anything really." he added.

Luffy stood up and patted his shirt down. "The dragons where you're from must be weird-looking, then," he said to Kasha. After tearing his eyes away from the dragon he looked at the yokai, still grinning widely. "I'm the man who's gonna be the Pirate King, Monkey D. Luffy!" he said proudly, fists resting on his hips. "Who're you?"

Shiro smiled, grabbing the bag of bagel from the dog an placed it in the basket. "Does Shiro like dog treats? There might be some around here, if you prefer human food, there's probably jerky."

The dog tilted his head. "Dog treats?" he asked. He looked around, thinking about something. "I like dumplings! But I don't smell any here..." he said, ears drooping a bit.

"Is the terms simply 'any instrument that he knows what it looks like'? That's an 'instrument', but it is used in the medical profession, not in the musical one." He wasn't sure what the limits would be, if it was 'any instrument'. Almost anything could be considered an instrument. Hyuse's eyes turned slowly to the snail, then up to Calli.

Conan raised an eyebrow, but shrugged. He reached up and took a pan off the shelves. At the very least, they would need to boil water in the future.
After that, he turned along a few other aisles, grabbing a few items every now and again. When he could, he checked to make sure that they were still edible.

"Kasha," he said in answer to Luffy. "The name will probably be unfamiliar to you." He said 'you' in a ton that said he was mocking him as well as looking down on him. "I am a yokai, a spirit." The fire in is hand danced purple, fading to red, then to black as he talked.

Luffy blinked and gave Kasha a blank stare as he nodded. "Yup, never heard of you," he said bluntly, the yokai's tone not registering in his one-track mind. He then noticed the fire in Kasha's hand and got all excited again. "Whoa! You can make fire! My brother can do that too!" he exclaimed, taking a few steps closer. A loud growl suddenly escaped from his stomach and he placed a hand over it. "Ah~~ So hungry..." he moaned, slouching over.

Shiro stopped and turned to look at human Shiro before padding over to her. He sniffed the piece of jerky and took it from her hand, taking a moment to chew it all the way. He licked his muzzle after finishing it and smiled. "That's good too!"
Prompto looked at Conan as he returned and then down at the basket. "Nothing off the top of my head, looks great," he replied. He thought for a moment. "Noct's picky, but I think this'll be fine for him too."

"Works for me," said Conan with little interest. He was just hoping someone else would help carry the basket he'd been dragging around.
He looked up at Prompto, crossing his arms. This guy had a free hand, didn't he?
Then he signed, he must be tired. That thought wasn't like him. Instead he picked up the basket and started to make his way over to the broken window.
(I just had a very cool idea...)

There are other groups out there though, he thought, looking into the trees. How does this clue gathering thing work? Will only one group make it out? One person? Will we have to steal clues from other groups?
"I don't know where the city is, unless it's the one Rin pointed to, with the other group.

Prompto followed Conan out, ducking underneath the hole in the window. Once he caught up to the detective he pointed to the basket full of food. "Ah- I can carry that, if you want..."

"Yeah... should we risk going over there? Maybe we can hide from the dangerous people?" Calli asked. It was the only one they knew about, the next city could be just on the other side of this forest or it could be miles away.

(The idea? should we be scared?) (Hope it's an interesting one and not, say, sleep deprivation. XD Anyway, I was just thinking, what if Conan's personality was off? Like, it kept getting more and more unusual until others actually started to notice. I was think along the lines of something possessing him or having cursed him. Thought it would be an interesting something or other. It would develop really slowly, to not be as noticeable to himself or others. Just something I thought up as I try to stop being more out-of-character than usual. ...if this sounds like sleep deprivation, tell me.  ) |

(Ok interesting :3 no, it doesn't sound like sleep deprivation to me at all, I totally understand. I think that would be cool, but it might be a little hard for these characters to notice since they really don't know much about him, but that's fine xD they'll probably freak out or something.)
