broken and Kuragehime

Kid started running with the group, though not before picking up Conan (his protests were ignored). He looked around, searching for a place he could climb up to higher ground. He couldn't launch this hang-glider from the level he was now. "If being in a new world wasn't bad enough," he growled. His teeth ground together.
The ground shook again and a building started to lean dangerously.
I need to get out of here, though Katio. Conan pulled on his sleeve and pointed at a small building. It was most likely meant to be a small business, but it was low laying and the earthquake wasn't affecting it as much as it was the larger building.
"That will work!" said Katio. He ran toward it and jumped through a broken window. He had to be careful on landing not to rip his cape.
"There has to be a way to the roof," muttered the thief.
Conan looked at him tiredly and with as much sarcasm he could mustered he said, "See that door in the corner marked 'Stairs'?"
Kid shifted the boy around so he had was holding onto his shoulders. "I'm a little tired right now, cut me some slack."
A few seconds later he launched himself from the roof. Kid hung from the hang-glider by a sturdy wire and Conan hug from his belt. Conan didn't look happy and was really uncomfortable. This seemed to wake him up more then before because he noticed that the tilting building from before was falling.
"Watch out!" he cried.

Hime:

(Alright, yah, I'm kind of tempted to make that fire Hyuse started in that building get a little...uh...bigger. But we have an earthquake and really don't need more chaos. Unless someone says otherwise, that is.)

Hyuse bolted. He hardly waited to see if Calli was following. His cloak billowed out behind him as he carefully hopped around the rubble.
"The forest is dangerous, that's where I ran into that big bug. But at this point they'd be easier to fight than falling rock."
He noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and said, "Mind your head. That light is going to fall."
The neighbor didn't have time to point as the streetlight was shaken out of its fixture.

(Ah, hope no one minds that I'm causing so many falling objects. ^^' )

Yeah, it's been fine today ]]

Broken and Mint:

Prompto and Noctis were running in silence now, focusing their energy on dodging falling debris. A crack appeared on the ground behind the two and was steadily catching up to them, headed straight for Prompto's feet. Noctis noticed this and grabbed a hold of his friend's arm to yank him out of the way just in time.
"Ack, thanks!" Prompto gasped, staring with wide eyes as the crack split into even more.
"Don't mention it," Noctis murmured.

"If the shaking has reached the forest, however, we may need to watch for falling trees," Hozuki warned, the thought only just now coming to mind.

Mint:

Calli sprinted after the neighbor, though was just barely managing to keep up with him. "Uh, sure, fighting is much easier," she murmured, her eyes flicking back and forth along the ground to avoid tripping on things. At Hyuse' warning about the streetlight, Calli's arms went over her head (because that'll totally help) and she put in a little more effort to run faster.

Mint:

Calli turned the corner after Hyuse and stopped for a moment to catch her breath, leaning against the remains of a wall. When her pulse had calmed enough, she looked up in time to see that the neighbor was still going. She scrambled after him, but skidded to a halt at the edge of the jump. She looked to Hyuse on the other side with wide uncertain eyes, he had made it look so easy. "I dunno..." she whimpered, looking down and shying away from the edge.

Mint:

"I'm coming! I'm coming! I just need to mentally prepare myself!" Calli said, staring at the distance. She balled her hands into fists and gave a nod before backing up several steps. "Ok, here goes nothing!" After double-checking the distance she charged forward and jumped, arms flailing as she went through the air. As expected, her landing on the other side was rather clumsy but she sprung to her feet almost right away and dusted off her knees. "Ok! Ready!"

Hello! Perfect timing! xD]]

Hozuki glanced back to the dog. "Be careful, Shiro," he said, and got an affirmative bark in response. He had the spiked club in hand, ready to swing in case of any more falling objects. Or monsters, either would work.

"What about dogs?" Prompto asked jokingly, glancing ahead at the vampire. He snickered softly, earning a roll of the eyes from Noctis.

Hime:
Hyuse slowed as the forest finally came into view. "Nice you see that you can jump at least."
He looked at the growing edge of the forest. The trees shook a little as a fading tremor. "The earthquake might be fading now, so you can probably stop running."
He looked behind him. "Are you okay?" he asked hesitantly.

Broken and Hime:

"This way," said Kid, pushing his way through the bushes. "I saw it when me and Conan were flying over." He pointed deeper into the forest. "I started a fire," he said.
His white cloths were now a little grass stained in places. He had a couple of leaves in his hair.

(Replying now.)

Mint:

"Coming!" Calli sang, trotting after the neighbor. She let out a little noise when she nearly bumped into Hyuse when he stopped. She looked up at him and blinked, raising an eyebrow. Taking a few steps around the neighbor, she noticed his hand against the tree and his eyes were closed. "Whatcha doing?" she asked, leaning a bit closer.

I'm alright, a bit tired tho xD]]

Mint:

"Ah, sorry," Calli murmured, placing her hands over her mouth for a moment and followed quietly after him for a few steps. "D-Deeper?" She asked, looking around at the trees as they went along. Where she grew up was a giant forest but it was much more... friendly than this one.

That's ok, Calli needs strict people in her life xD]]

Kid pushed his way threw the underbrush and finally the smell of the fire greeted his nose. "Conan's gone to sleep again. It's really late."
He looked at the sky. "I wonder how far away dawn is." It felt like he had been in this world for ages. He had to remind himself that this was only the first day. What's tomorrow going to be like, he thought.

"Better than out near the city. If we are lucky we'll be able to find a place that will provide protection against any creatures that are around."
Hyuse started walking again, stepping over tree branches and roots. He hopped over a fallen tree and looked around. "This is better." He pointed to the cover that the nearest bushes provided. "I'm stopping here for the night."
He left the end of that sentence open for Calli to leave.

(Should we think about skipping to the morning or should some horrors wait in the night? )

Hime:

(Hyuse needs more of her type in his life. I'm sure he'll get used to her... in a year or ten...)

"No. I've never been camping," answered Hyuse. And he never had been. But that didn't mean he hadn't survived out in the wilderness before. But that had just been his life.
He looked around until he found a pile of leave litter. He just flopped down after that.
"Get to sleep," he said. "It's late and I'll keep first watch. I'll probably wake you if anything happens."

(Ah, even this guy can be humorous at times.)

Hime:

Hyuse covered his ears. But he didn't protest or move away. For him, this was almost a way of granting permission. The sky was clear and he hoped that there would be no aftershocks tonight. He was tired and the music, which was good, at least to his ears, didn't help. But he had said he would keep first watch, and he would.
He turned his head away from the girl, looking out into the dark forest. Nothing moved or made a sound. Finally, he asked. "What is your world like?"

(So am I, so don't worry about it.)

"Somehow I figured something like bubbles or sparkles would be in you description of your world," said Hyuse. It was meant as an insult, but he wasn't to sure Calli would take it as one.
"It's a large military state," said Hyuse in response to Calli's question. "The largest." This was said with a bit of pride. He wondered if anyone from his world was looking for him. Could they possibly reach him here?
