Hozuki raised an eyebrow, Kid had brought up an interesting point. He looked to Rin and waited, curious to hear her response to the question.

Noctis' gaze flicked to Conan at the sound of his voice but returned to the group gathered before them. After the introduction of this Rin person he had plenty of his own questions for her and had half a mind to get up and march over, but after listening to her responses it seemed a straight answer wasn't going to happen.
Prompto felt his stomach sink. "Hey, please tell me she didn't just say there are more monsters here..." he whimpered.

(I probably won't be on much this week, just a warning.) Kuragehime , mintedstar/fur Sora gave the dog a thumbs up. "Yeah that's what I like to hear! And unlike what my sis said, I think this is going to be a fun game!" Rin looked over at Kid, pretending to think about the answer. "If you die, you die," she replied simply with a shrug. "But if you guys are on the verge of dying, I guess I'll step in and try to help. It'll be no fun to be here alone again...especially for so long." -- sweetclover1 , mint The boy stared at the guy who called himself Monarch for a few moments. This guy seemed a little suspicious, but he wasn't going to say anything. Instead, he replied himself, "I am Ciel," he then looked over at the other three. "This is Miroka and her two obnoxious weapons, Akio and Kirikio." |

Shiro barked a few times, "Yeah!" he said, agreeing with Sora and earning another sigh from Hozuki.
"I wouldn't use the word 'fun', though it does sound quite intriguing," Hozuki murmured, his free hand on his chin.
"You looked like you were having fun fighting that bug thing, Hozuki," Shiro said. He looked up at the demon with a grin. "You always get that face with you beat things up."
Hozuki shook his head. "I was only doing what was necessary," he insisted. "I'm mostly interested to see what kind of animal and plant life grow here."

He was glad to know that the girl would not try and let them die. But it made it sound like she was as much a part of the game as he and his companions were. She made it sound like she was a pawn in her own game. --

Because Monarch didn't trust anyone. He didn't even trust the people back in his home world. But he was a good actor. He could act trustworthy. "You know," he said. "that there is a bookstore deeper in the city that would make a good place to rest." -- Hime"Trust me," said Conan, pointing to the dark shape of what used to be the Horseman. "There are monsters here. That's why I said to be quite." But really, at this point silence served no purpose. Rin may or may not know they were there, but what Conan needed right now was to look at the death book that was still clutched in Kid's hand. How many people are out there? And can more get in?

Prompto's shoulders drooped. "Oh man, that's not what I wanted to hear," he sighed. His eyes went to where Conan pointed, and what he saw only worsened his mood. "Great, giant bugs. That's just the icing on the cake," he murmured.
Noctis nodded, silently agreeing with Prompto on the topic of bugs. "Hey, at least we know how to fight," he murmured, gently elbowing his friend.

Then, once Monarch said something about a bookstore, he blinked, looking back over at the other three, as if asking if they agree. -- Kuragehime , mint Sora nodded. "Hozuki, I agree with Shiro. You did look like you were having fun!" Rin was surprised. She hadn't really thought about that before, mostly because no one had ever asked her that. "Hm...interesting question," the girl replied, grinning at Kid, leaning forward some herself. "I don't know what might happen then. Maybe you all should try to kill me sometime; it would make this game more fun, huh?" She thought out loud.

"Oh, we are all quite probably doomed. You see," said Conan and his pointing finger turned to their flashlights. "We are stuck here, together. But the resources that are trapped here with us will be used and broken long before we die. Knowing how to fight is all well and good, but who knows what types of monsters are out there. Some will attack mentally and not just physically. Swords can be broken and so can your mind."
And with that gloomy and pessimistic statement Conan jumped over the bush and walked into the clearing.

Kid hardly noticed when Conan turned up. All his attention was on Rin. He gave her a faint smile. "You are quite an interesting girl aren't you?"
He would never attempt to kill her. He didn't kill. It was a rule of his. He would fight by nonlethal methods or he wouldn't fight at all. But who knows what the others would do along the lines.
Then Conan came up and kicked him. Kid dropped the death book and started hopping around in pain.
"What was that for?" he cried.
"Because I'm tired," said Conan in response. He now held the death book, having caught it before it had hit the ground. He didn't meet Kid's eyes and Kid felt, suddenly, like he had done something wrong. "Um...?" he said, still holding his leg.
Conan moved to stand besides Mika, still not meeting his eyes.

Rin smirked with a shrug, letting her cat leap back to the ground as it circled around her feet. "Ah, mister I have never had anyone say that about me, but I guess you could say that," she replied, then tried not to giggle as the little boy came out of hiding. She stared at Kid.
Mikaela blinked, letting out a sigh as he shook his head. "Hey Kid, your friend is back since you were so worried..." he trailed off, then glared in the direction Conan had appeared from. "Conan...who else did you bring here with you?"

Hozuki gave a slight shrug and a dismissive wave of his hand to Sora and the dog. "Think what you like," he murmured. He then peered over to the others after hearing a light commotion and raised an eyebrow when he saw the newcomers.
Noctis and Prompto quickly followed Conan out from behind the bush. As the attention turned to the two of them, Prompto put on a wide grin and rested one arm over Noctis' shoulder. "There's no need to glare man, we're not enemies," he said with a laugh, glancing at Mikaela. "This is Noctis, and I'm Prompto," he went on, giving a sort of two-finger salute.
"I can introduce myself, you know," Noctis murmured, rolling his eyes.

Mikaela shook his head, staring at Conan, then back at the newcomers. "Noctis and Prompto..." he looked from this to the other group, which contained Sora, the two Shiros, and Hozuki. He let out a sigh. "Let me guess, you all think it's a good idea to stay together, right?" He was really hoping there wouldn't be too many new people to tag along...but it looked like there was going to be...

"Well," said Kid, looking over at Mika. "Considering anyone one of us could have died, it might be advised." He just didn't want to admit that he had been almost useless. Conan was the fighter, not him. He was the strategist. Strategists out on the front lines, with no weapons, usually got killed. Conan wasn't really engaging in the conversation. He just stood there. He partly wanted to look in the death book, but not with Rin still here. He didn't want to be caught unawares. (Sorry for leaving for so long.  ) |

Mikaela snorted and nodded slowly, looking over at the group again. "Well then, I don't know if there is enough food for all of you. We only found a few things at a store," he said, looking around some. "Speaking of which, do you remember what happened to the bag of food, Conan?"
Rin was eyeing them as they spoke, slowly backing away. "You guys are on good track, but I think I'll be going for a little bit longer. There's another group I must attend to~"

I'l honestly tried to answer this three times. So sorry. I kept getting called away.)
Conan sighed at Mika and rolled his eyes. He walked over to a few of the bushes by the edge of the clearing and rummaged around. After a few seconds he held up Mikaela's bag. "You'd possibly forget your head if it wasn't attached."
Kid smiled a little at Rin. "See you around." This prompted Conan to frown a little more. He placed Mika's bag on the ground. He opened the death book and looked through the names.

Hozuki gave Rin a silent bow as she gave her farewell. He had no more pressing questions for her, though the mention of another group did pique his interest. However he soon pushed the thought away, his own group's survival was the most important objective at the moment. "There is always the option of hunting if we run out," he suggested.
With the cat leaving, Hozuki was finally able to let go of Shiro's collar. The dog then went and sniffed the three newcomers.
As the dog approached, Prompto's smile seemed to grow wider and he crouched to ruffle the fur on Shiro's head. "Ah, he's so cute! What's his name?" he asked, looking to Hozuki.
"I'm Shiro!" came the reply.
Prompto's eyes widened and he yanked at Noctis' shirt. "Noct! He talked! The dog talked!"
Meanwhile, Noctis was busy also concerning himself with the food for the group. "Prompto and I can help with that," he offered, taking a step forward.

Mikaela rolled his eyes at what Conan had said to him before walking to the edge of the group, examining the forest around them, letting the others do the talking.
Shiro was still by the dog, patting his head. Eventually, she eyed the death book one of them was holding.
Sora stood next to Noctis, nodding. "Yeah, I can help with that, too! My sis and I already collected a few berries from around here! There are probably more around here somewhere. We could go with you guys!"

Noctis looked at Sora and also nodded. Then he got an idea. "Oh, if there's any water nearby, I'm pretty good at fishing," he added, his face lighting up a bit at the mention of his favorite pastime.
"We should look for a safe place to spend the night as well," Hozuki mentioned. "Perhaps one of these old buildings? Unless anyone remembers the way back to camp in this darkness."
Meanwhile, Prompto wasn't listening and was instead paying attention to the dog. He took out his camera and pointed it at the dog, adjusting the focus until everything was perfect before taking the picture. He glanced at human Shiro. "Want a picture with him?" he asked, grinning.
Dog Shiro was just sitting there happily as he received all this attention, pink tongue hanging out of his jaws.

Conan noticed Shiro's attention and passed her the death book. "The ending has all our names in it. It's very...interesting." He turned his head to look at Noctis. "I'm very good at fishing as well." Katio turned away from the group and stretched. He was getting a little tired. He looked down at his white cloths (now a off-gray) and wondered if there was a place to change. He usually kept some of his old cloths around. He was just lucky enough this time that he had some of his regular cloths under the costume. (All right then! More characters coming now!  ) |

( Ah, for once a character not from the DC universe.  Character name: Hyuse Screen name: mintedstar/fur OC or Cannon: Cannon Anime/Manga: World Trigger Description: Hyuse is a neighbor with short, messy, light brown hair, pale skin and blue/green eyes. Like all other Aftokrator neighbors, he has two horns on his head, his being like that of a goat's. In trigger mode, he wears a grey uniform akin to a gakuran. It has black stripes in the edges of the fastener, which appears to work like velcro, and black spike-like stripes running down from the shoulders, stopping before the edge. Over it, he wears a black cloak (which appears to be a trigger) with a red stripe in the left side, intersected with 5 circles which possibly represent his rank. He also wears black shoes with white vertical stripes grey soles with short heels. Personality: Hyuse seems a calm and collected individual, rarely getting carried away. He also holds great respect for his superiors, like Hairein and Visa. However, he becomes extremely angry when taunted about his fellow countrymen or superiors. Power: He uses a Trigger (should that be counted as a power when it's just advanced technology?) "Heh, well I've never been fishing before," Sora muttered, rubbing the back of his neck, then he shrugged. "it soundd fun, though. I guess I could help."
Mikaela had heard what Hozuki had said and replied, "it'd probably be best if we head toward town. Conan, Kid, and I have all found a bookstore to stay in."
Shiro looked up at Prompto, shaking her head. "Save it for if it is ever needed," she spoke softly, then took the book once Conan handed it to her. Slowly, she opened it and scanned one of the pages, but she kept glancing over at the other kid. "why are there names in this?"

"Good for you Noct, sounds like you have two new fishing buddies," he said with a laugh. "It just seems boring to me, but Noct loves it, 's the only time he ever smiles," he teased, snickering.
Noctis just gave him a light shove. "Shut up, it is not," he snapped, which only made his friend laugh even more.
Hozuki nodded to the vampire. "A bookstore," he repeated quietly. Personally, he was not feeling the least tired, but glancing at dog Shiro he could tell the canine's energy reserves were quickly depleting.

Kid felt a little like he was out of the conversation a little. He wasn't sure what he should do. He looked up at the dark sky. "Well," he said. "I'm going on ahead again. I don't really have anything that I can add to this group on the ground."
He ran at the nearest tree and grabbed a low hanging branch. He pulled himself up and ones he had a strong footing he unfolded his hang-glider.
Conan paid no mind to anything the others said about fishing. His knowledge and taste in it had come from all the times his neighbor had took him camping.
"It has a record of the deaths of the natives of this world. But when you flip to the back our names are listed with a To Be Decided on cause of death."

(Hey I actually don't have any homework for once, so I might actually be more active today!)
(Also, I feel so left out; I've never seen World Trigger, but I think I need to xD)
Sora looked over at Prompto and Noctis, smiling. "Aw, well that's nice! There's probably nothing wrong with fishing," he muttered, stepping closer to Noctis as he gently punched his arm. "No need to be embarrassed by such a silly thing."
Shiro blinked slowly, scanning through the names again. "Does this mean the group will eventually die?" The little girl asked, then she flipped to a few other pages about the foreigners, then closed it. "Here, take it."
Mikaela nodded to Kid, then looked back at the group. "Would you like us to show you the way to town?" He addressed the whole group.

(Jin and Hyuse forever! First and second favorite characters. And World Trigger is really awesome. Both the manga and anime is really good.) Kid launched himself into the sky. The ground fell away and he soon lost sight of the small group in the darkness. But he didn't worry to much. He knew where they were heading. Conan took the death book back and placed it in an inner pocket. "I honestly don't know. But you can bet that many of us wont give up without a fight." (I need to find a way to bring Hyuse in. Need to have more 'friends' for him. And Hime, I now have four as well. But as long as I can RP them all then I could possibly handle another. ) |

Shiro blinked, watching the two silently before she headed for her brother.
"Oh you two are the best of friends, huh?" Sora asked Notcis and Prompto, but turned to listen to the other conversation about heading to town. "Oh? I guess we had better save the fishing talk for tomorrow!"
Mikaela nodded curtly to Hozuki beforehand he turned around, walking past everyone as he headed in the direction Kid had disappeared off in. "It's about thirty or so minutes away, so just keep up so no one gets lost."

Hyuse had made a small fire in an abandoned building. He watched as the smoke flowed out into the night sky. The building was so full of holes that the smoke spread freely upward.
He watched, wondering what strange world he had come into.
