The Doctor cringed as he felt and saw Datara's paws close around the outside of the TARDIS, and just as he was ready to disappear again, hopefully before he was killed, he felt the box being dropped. He let out a sigh of relief and yanked another lever, not a moment too soon, as he had been inches from the ground. The damage it wouldn't done was debatable, but it wouldn't have been good no matter what. He drove the TARDIS into one of Datara's legs for good measure, and then danced back, hoping not to be grabbed from the sky again. He could see the size of the beast on the screens inside the TARDIS. It would be game over if he was caught.
---
As this Shukaka's foot had been bearing down on him, Cas had lifted his hands, like that would've done something to protect him, but he let out a small sigh of relief as Chess spoke in his defense, putting his hands down. His relief soon turned to apprehension as the two talked of him using his angelic powers, though. "The Gedo Statue?" he questioned, never having heard of such a thing, but he was pretty sure that he had a basic idea of what it was, if it required a "jumpstart." "Let me see it," he said, glancing in between the cat and the yellow eyed creature, before he settled back on Chess again, "and I will see if I can help you to awaken it." His powers, ever since the fall of Heaven, which seemed so long ago now, had almost always been limited. But, he was still a powerful being nonetheless. He would do anything he could to help beat this Datara.

@bolderpelt Shukaku turned away a little, and raised a paw. A moment later, the sands before them shifted and pushed, pushing up a large, gargantuan really, statue. ( Here's a description.) The statue was dormant, unmoving as it looked down at them. It was at least twice the size of Shukaku, but nothing compared to Datara yet. Chess blinked, asking "When did you move it here?" Shukaku shrugged, saying "None of your biz." Looking down at Castiel, the big tanuki spoke "You're like this big boy here. JYou looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned Jinchuuriki. Assuming you don't know what that is, they're like mediums. Hosts. You probably have a term for it, but I don't care. Maybe it'll even allow you to touch it because of that, because you're similar. That's how it works for us here. The spirits inside will respond to it." A vessel to a vessel, right? Or at least that's how Chess saw it. He looked up, the massive thing giving off a humming sound, in response to being free of the sand prison. Chess looked at Castiel, and gestured to the Gedo Statue that sat in the sand, sitting silently other than the humming, as if waiting for something to happen. --- Datara buckled, kneeling on the one leg. Hands lashing out to grab the ground, it grit its many teeth together in annoyance. After, it spoke "How about you come out of your little ship, Doctor? See how well you do without it!" It made another swipe for the TARDIS, missing by a foot or two. Not caring anymore, balls of energy began forming around its entire body. A bunch of them, each the size of a small child. Still, packed so dense with energy, like little explosive black holes. Two seconds passed before they shot out. It wasn't impossible to escape them, as they were small, but heavens help whoever got hit by one. The tinier the ball, the more dangerous.

Kara looked between Datara and the group. "Everyone back!" She yelled. She ran over toward Eleven and Natasha going a lot faster than the average human, knowing she could take a hit better than those two and the guy.

It wasn't impossible to escape them, as they were small, but heavens help whoever got hit by one. The tinier the ball, the more dangerous. Castiel stared up at the large statue before looking over to Shukaka. "Vessels," he said simply, "we call them vessels." And with that, he closed the distance between himself and the statue, trying not to trip in the sand, which pulled at his feet and trousers. He stood in front of it for a moment, cocking his head and closing his eyes to listen to the humming, but then opening them and outstretching both hands to rest on the leg of the statue. For a solid thirty seconds, nothing happened as he stood, staring intently at it, but then his eyes lit up a bright white, like they did when he was about to reveal his true form, or smite something. "I think it's working," he informed, as if it wasn't obvious. --- "Not a chance!" The Doctor called, though he knew Datara couldn't hear him. He was just about to go in for another pass when the god shot out the little balls of energy. There was no running from those. He yanked the shields on as he was battered, the box spinning away, groaning and hissing and screaming on the inside as it got hit. "Sssh, sssh," The Doctor comforted, putting a hand firmly on the console as he straightened them back out.

She ran over toward Eleven and Natasha going a lot faster than the average human, knowing she could take a hit better than those two and the guy. Eleven looked up, eyes widening. She was still unsteady on her feet, but she grabbed Mike, who had run out of bullets awhile ago, and yanked him towards Natasha. Natasha grabbed the both of them, hustling towards an alleyway between two of the buildings. The blonde girl that was the man in the trench coat's daughter or something like that followed, face turned away from the fast approaching balls of darkness.

@bolderpelt The humming grew louder, and an eye popped open, then another. Responding to the energy from Castiel, its head moved a little, more eyes opening. At first, something soft tugged at Castiel's energy, like a child when feeling something new. It vanished after, parting from the angel. Then, its hands pulled against its restraints, so hard that they broke. All of its eyes were open now, and it looked down at Cas, waiting for him to move so it could uncross its legs.
"The Gedo Statue likes you," Shukaku decided "Usually it wakes with screaming and lashing out." He and Chess were already out of the way a little, now waiting for the angel to give the Gedo some space. The humming grew soft again, now that it was stable. The spirits inside stirred gently, moving inside the now wakened vessel. Chess looked up, saying "Um... hi?" The now mobile thing tilted its head, then ignored Chess to look back at Castiel. Shukaku went silent before saying "Explain your case, that's what it wants. Why you two are here."
---
"You are not worth my time," Datara snorted "But maybe your folk are, hm?" And with that, it created another reality to, which was most likely The Doctor's universe. Datara peeped inside to make sure, before reaching three hands in. The same grotesque process was repeated as it stole lives, saying "Some a are not so blessed as you to survive too long, Doctor." It held up a free hand, trying to pinpoint the TARDIS again as it built up another ball of energy, suggesting "You're close to your limit. How about you accept defeat now instead?"

Castiel moved back, feet shifting in the sands as he watched the gargantuan thing spring to life. He could still feel it, even though they were not in contact anymore, all of the spirits moving about inside it, awakened with his own energy. He didn't even need Shukaka to tell him what the statue wanted from him. He could tell just by looking at it, like there was some kind of subconscious communication between the two of them now. "Hello," Cas began, speaking loudly, though he knew the Gedo Statue would be able to hear no matter what, "I am Castiel, an Angel of the Lord. This is Chess. We came to ask you to travel with us, to defeat a malevolent god named Datara. We cannot do it on our own, without aid. We need help, Please." He bowed his head slightly, waiting for any sort of answer for the being.
---
The Doctor gritted his teeth. "Leave them be!" he hissed around them, kicking the TARDIS into gear, aiming right at Datara's three arms which stretched off into the universe he loved so much. If only the idiot god knew that his own people weren't there, not the Time Lords. No, they were sealed off in a pocket universe, but Earth? Earth was not safe, and those were his people as much as the people of Gallifrey were.

@bolderpelt
The statue didn't even lean to hear the angel, as it actually heard quite well from where it was. As Cas explained himself, the Gedo blinked its many eyes in sync. At Datara's name, its eyes widened in obvious rage, jaws gritting and giving its face a rather frightening look. Shukaku muttered to Cas "Datara violated the Gedo and made it its... vessel, a while before this." The massive statue calmed down a little, then reached out a massive hand, to Shukaku. The tanuki groaned, and said to Castiel and Chess "Well, looks like I'm out for now. I'll be watching though." Turning to the Gedo, he looked as the thing opened its jaws. Shukaku said "Weeeeeeee!" As he was literally sucked into the statue's awaiting mouth. Now there were nine spirits inside of it, along with a few other minor ones. However, it was enough, if not more. Chess sighed, and held out his paws. The Gedo touched a massive finger to one paw, while the other paw was left for Castiel to touch, Chess saying "If the Gedo goes wack, you should be able to calm it. You technically own it now."
---
"Why care so much for these secondary people?" Datara questioned, misshapen mouth forming a smile "They are unlike you. Lesser." It grunted when the TARDIS crashed into its arms, causing two to retract. One grabbed at the blue ship, Datara saying "You have no way to command me, Doctor, and its beyond me on why you can't accept that." Once again, a hand wrapped around the TARDIS, but didn't crush it. Bringing it so the box was eye level with it, Datara glared and snorted "You are a pest, but a smart one. I'll give you that. Just know that it is the destiny of a pest to be killed. Wouldn't you agree?"

Though, that had been his choice, and his fault. There was no time to talk about that now though. He watched at Shukaka was sucked into the Gedo, unperturbed, and reached a hand out to touch Chess' paw. "Alright," he said with a nod, "I will try my best to keep it under control, if anything happens." --- The Doctor grunted, thrown against the console, ribs and gut smacking painfully into the metal as Datara pulled him to eye level. He coughed, staring at the screen as the god spoke to him, glaring. "Yeah," he said, grabbing onto the microphone on the console, "yeah, it is the destiny of a pest to be killed, but you know what makes them so hard to kill? They always keep coming back, big guy." He dropped the microphone, smacking a button on the console before dashing across the grated floor, towards the door. The TARDIS began to dematerialize around him as he threw the door open, launching himself out and literally onto Datara. A dumb idea? Yeah. But, he was known for those.

@bolderpelt Chess nodded, and closed his eyes. It took a few minutes, two farts and a sneeze, but the cat was eventually able to teleport the heavy load. He opened his eyes, to see The Doctor jump at Datara. The hell?
Datara laughed, and an arm materialized where The Doctor landed, and flung him aside. Before the Time Lord could hit anything, he was caught by another massive hand. The Gedo looked down at him for a moment before lowering him and setting him down. Removing its hands from Chess, it turned to Datara, and screamed. So loud that the ground shook, so powerful it generated its own wind. Datara was shoved back, having to dig its fingers into the ground to keep from falling over. The Gedo simply charged, moving rather quickly. Datara tried to disappear through a reality rip, but bellowed in rage when the Gedo grabbed it, and pulled it back. The statue pulled, and swung, watching Datara sail through the air, and come crashing down with a massive thud, breaking the ground. Chess herded Castiel and The Doctor away, saying "They're on an entirely different level. Interfering will just get in their way." Glancing back, he watched Datara create a dark energy ball, and send it toward the Gedo, who screeched in surprise as its shoulder jerked back. Datara had disappeared into a rip, then appeared right in front of the Gedo, both of them going down in a tangle of lashing limbs, screaming and biting.

Hearing Chess's suggestion, Kazuya ordered Fafnir back. The Dragon gave one last snarl at its opponent before clawing its way back towards its master. The trio began to fight their way back, made easier by the fact that Fafnir was immune to the creatures' attacks. When they were almost back to the others, Kazuya covered his ears (or at least tried to, with his headphones on) at a loud screech. Looks like the cat's plan worked. And indeed it did. The beast that had been summoned had little difficulty getting past the swarm and actually throwing Datara. Still, with the fight going on, it was best to stay away. He focused on defeating the enemies around him for now.

Castiel and The Doctor both let themselves be herded away from the two fighting monsters. Castiel kept glancing behind him, watching Gedo scream and throw hits at Datara, and The Doctor limped along, ankle dragging ever so slightly. Datara was hard to hit, but at least he hadn't literally died. As he looked up and saw Clara he smiled slightly; however, to let her know that he was okay. Behind her, Claire, Natasha, and the two children were emerging from the alleyways. Everything was riddling with holes from the energy blast that Datara had sent out. Soon, the TARDIS rematerialized against one of the walls. It had a nasty scorch on the outer hull, but other than that, his Old Girl looked fine. "Clara," he called out after a moment, waving softly.

@bolderpelt Silverfall tinybreeze Datara yelled its rage as the Gedo got hold of a chunk of its arms. The misshapen beast screamed as the Gedo pulled hard. Instead of a clean cut, like clay, it bled. Datara bled, the wound exploding in a mess of red. The statue flung the limbs aside, crushing the buildings they landed on. And the limbs stayed still, unable to reattach. Datara sent a ball of energy right into its opponent's face, the Gedo stumbling back a little. In turn, the statue grabbed Datara's main head with a large hand, its pupils turned to slits, and the ghost of fox ears appeared on it. Then, its eyes flat out glowed with bright orange energy. Datara screamed as its main eye socket released the same color of light, blood spurting from the socket. The Gedo was shoved back, the energy disappearing. When Datara straightened up, all could see that its main eye had been burned out. The beast stumbled, lashing wildly at the Gedo, who merely stepped out of the way. "What a way to lose your sight," Chess decided, floating around the group. Datara had smaller eyes, but it did nothing to restore its sight. For decoration really. The cat looked among the group, saying "My thanks to you all, for butting heads with the beast and its minions."

"Yuck," Eleven muttered, cringing at the gargantuan burned out socket, but at the same time she was glad that they were killing this evil, evil thing. She glanced over at the talking cat as it spoke, but looked back to the scene in front of her, watching as Natasha held her with one hand, gentlyy rubbing at her shoulder.

Kazuya winced at Datara's scream. He almost felt bad for the demon. Almost. As soon as they were away from the fight, the human answered Chess. "No problem. Let's just hope that thing takes down Datara," he said. Not that Gedo was losing, but it was possible for Datara to pull something. Anything was possible with a reality-warping demon thing.

@bolderpelt tinybreezeChess watched the statue open its jaws wide, golden chains spilling from its jaws. The chains reached into Datara, and pulled. Black energy was being pulled he m the chains, taking a humanoid shape. A soul, almost. Datara's body slowly to become pale as the black material was pulled out of it. It squirmed and yelled, hands digging into the ground as it was dragged toward the awaiting jaws of the Gedo. The statue pulled the chains from its mouth, and tied the dark shape up as it struggled. After, it pressed its hands together to clasp them, multiple eyes glowing with white energy. The chains dragged Datara below the ground, both energies sinking into the dirt. The Gedo undid its hands as the last of the struggle disappeared. One of its eyes had turned black though, a symbol that its energy was keeping Datara bound. All of its eyes suddenly widened, red tears of blood beginning to trail down. Like a bad headache, its hands gripped its large head, falling to its knees. It screeched, that same scream powerful enough to create wind. In its "little" fit, it began lashing out, tearing up the ground around it, so strong that the ground shook slightly where the others were. The Gedo screeched again as it threw chunks of ground and trees, one falling a little too close to the group.

Black Frost lost his balance on the shaking ground and fell backwards, while Fafnir got down on all fours to steady itself. Kazuya grabbed the Dragon to stay balanced as another tremor shook the ground. "What's going on?!" he shouted at Chess, barely able to be heard over Gedo's loud cries. Even when caught, Datara seemed to be struggling. Is there anything we can do?

Kara had watched the entire battle, however the only comment she made was, "Gross." She shook her head, until she started to lose her balance."Hey guys, we need to keep moving, get as far away as we can from the battle. We can't have anyone die now!!" Kara called.

"I'm fine, Clara," The Doctor said, taking her slim hand in his own. His ankle was definitely at least fractured, but he knew that telling her that was only going to make her worry about him. He could handle it. Time Lords healed faster than most humans anyways, or he could get Cas to do it... speaking of the angel, where was he? Most of the group was moving away, but the trench coat clad man was gone.
That was, in fact, because Cas had teleported, landing unsteadily because his grace was still weak. He was next to the screaming statue, close enough to feel its pain, and he he reached out, softly putting the palm of his hand on its leg. What was wrong?

@bolderpelt Silverfall tinybreeze The Gedo buckled, hunching over. However, it paused when it felt Cas' hand against it. Looking down at the angel, the statue blinked its many bleeding eyes slowly. Datara's energy was finally becoming tamed within the Gedo, the large being's breathing evening out, body easing up. The souls inside of it were stabilizing the evil god, Datara's energy being the cause of the Gedo's rage. Looking down at Castiel, it seemed to smile ever so slightly. No mouth moved, but the words, like a whisper, came to ear 'And so the evil shall be split. All is well. And... thank you.' It was meant for both awakening it, and for calming it. Castiel's energy was basically playing soul for the Gedo, like a battery, as it was what animated the previously dormant statue. Plus, it somehow did manage to cease the Gedo's rage. Like Chess said, Cas now technically owned the Gedo, could manipulate it. However, the statue didn't resist and try to kill him, like it did Datara and Madara, previous folk who tried to shove aggression upon it. Sensing Castiel's damaged, but also repaired grace, it respected him the moment the angel touched it in the other universe. It had read the angel's thoughts and memories, his pasts rights and wrongs. Still, Cas meant well now. And, he could probably tell the Gedo respected him, as Castiel now had access to all of the Gedo's thoughts, feelings and memories as well. Datara's body, now pale, was still there. There was energy lingering. Still powerful, but not as much as before. The Gedo's energy vibrated, and it held its hands out. The large body before it shuddered, and glowed. It then fell apart, seemingly caving in and splitting up. Too far away to see the immediate results, it took a while. Then, seven or so minutes later, something appeared. A plush, cuddly looking fox. With nine tails, no bigger than a human skull. Then another animal came to join it. A little, cute and plush, fat tanuki the same size, with one tail. It waddled over to sit beside Cas, but yelled up to the Gedo with the voice of a child "You just HAD to make us look like this?! The great Shukaku is not a baby!!" As he yelled, seven other pairs of eyes peeped from some nearby bushes, along with the nine-tailed fox cluelessly picking his nose.

"Yes, no, I'll be fine," The Doctor assured, stopping, pulling her into a quick hug as he gingerly held his foot off of the ground, "Clara, it's just a little bump and a bruise. Trust me, Datara didn't get any big hits in. Are you okay?" He released her. He knew that she was spooked, which was why she was checking up on him like a mother hen. Oh, Clara Oswald, always so caring, and when he lied about his wellbeing she would then smack him across the face. Good times.
---
Castiel blinked slowly. He knew the Gedo's respect, how it felt for him, and he felt the same. He was grateful to know the great statue. He grateful to have been able to help it. The angel, after what seemed like an eternity of resting his palm on the Gedo, moved it away, and glanced down beside him, to see the source of the small voice. "Shukaka?" he questioned, the tiniest of smiles twitching on his lips as he looked down at him, and then looked around at all of the other... little creatures. Foxes. Odd. He had no idea what the fact that they appeared as the little nine-tailed creatures was supposed to mean, but he did not bother to ask as he momentarily closed his eyes, to check on his new friends somewhere behind him. Alive, all of them. Thank God.

@bolderpelt Silverfall "Yes!" Shukaku snapped "Wait, don't look at me!" He tried hiding himself with his paws, the fox coming over and yawning before falling over and falling asleep. The other little creatures came out, each a different species actually. The fox, a tanuki, dragonfly, slug, a horse mutant thing, a cat, monkey, a crustacean, and an unknown species wearing what looked like a knight's helmet. Each one had a different number of tails. One, Shukaku, to the nine-tailed fox. Now, it just looked like a bundle of cuteness as the nine creatures started arguing and fighting among themselves. The Gedo released a rumbling noise, almost as if it were scolding them, and the creatures fell silent. "Ooh, humans!" The two-tailed cat meowed, looking where the others were "Let's go loo- Kurama, stop biting meee!" Like a little herd of cute, the nine babyfied creatures ran off to where the others were waiting. The Gedo glanced at Castiel for a moment before beginning to head over to the others as well, assuming the angel could get over to them just fine. The now calm statue crossed over to the others in a few massive strides, looking down at them before merely sitting, giving off that humming noise from earlier. "This one smells funny!" The fox, Kurama, declared as he ran up to The Doctor, smelling his clothes and making a face. Shukaku had gone to examine Natasha, actually trying to flirt with the woman. The two-tailed cat, Matatabi, poked Clara's leg, deciding "She smells like flowers!" The monkey, Son Goku, told Eleven that she smelled very nice, even introducing himself in a polite way. Soon it was just a mess of tiny creatures smelling everyone, trying to find out which one smelled like what. They weren't trying to be mean though, as they were just curious of everyone being from another universe. It was weird though, to know that these nine creatures fused together formed such a monstrous, demonic god.

"Anyone find this a little bit weird and odd, but oddly cute at the same time?" Kara stated towards the back of the group, taking a step away from the creatures. She felt her cape flutter in the wind, and had half of a mind to contain the fluttering.
"You know what? I was about to say the same thing." Clara looked at Kara. "It seems we kind of think the same way. It definitely is a weird turn of events." There was a slight voice inflection at the end, while frowning at the ground, looking between Kara and the creatures.

Castiel actually smiled again, a bit more broadly this time, before teleporting back to the group. He almost landed on the slug, but managed not to, stumbling sideways. "Castiel!" he heard, and was suddenly enveloped in a quick, but still bone-crushing hug from his vessel's daughter. "Claire," he greeted as she released him, turning around. Wow, she almost looked excited to see him. Evidently, she did not hate him as much as she had last time when she'd found out that Jimmy was no longer here, just Cas. "Glad you made it back alright," she said after a moment, softly punching him in the arm, before turning away. He smiled, softly. Yes, he was glad she was alright too.
The Doctor just stared at the little creature, finally stating, "Well, that's probably because I'm not a human. Sorry." Natasha just ignored Skukaka, instead saying to Kara, "No, not cute. Sorry." Eleven had bent down to try and pet the monkey, muttering a thank you, as Mike stood next to her, protectively, arms crossed over his thin chest.

Kazuya stared down at the tanuki that had approached him for a moment before crouching down. He ruffled the creature's head, almost expecting his hand to pass right through an illusion. The human let out a small chuckle as Black Frost introduced himself to the crustacean, calling himself a "warrior of love and rage." Complete with a pose, even. Midori really rubbed off on him...

Clara turned her attention back to the Doctor, returning his hug. "I'm fine. Though, with that ankle of yours I'm not so sure of your answer." She muttered, sighing. She stuck to the Doctor's side like glue, almost. "The creatures are a bit weird." She sighed.

"You're no normal stud either!" Kurama said to Clara, wiping his little hand on The Doctor's pants (the one he picked his nose with) "You're a human!" Or at least that's what she looked like. Walking away, he said to The Doctor "You look like a human, by the way, but your chakra is all wacky. Like that one." He pointed to Castiel, then proceeded to run off to join Matatabi, who was talking to its fellow feline, Chess.
The crustacean, named Isobu, tried to replicate Frosty's pose, yet only embarrassed itself, falling onto its back.
"They're just making fools of themselves," Son Goku snorted at its brethren, the monkey just sitting by Eleven and Mike. Eventually, the other eight creatures went to sit in front of the massive Gedo, like children at storytime. Instead though, they all just fell asleep, Son Goku being the only one awake. If the Gedo could apologize for its wards, it would. The statue wasn't capable of speech, unless it was telepethically to those it had a bond with. Anyway, the Gedo bent its head a little, like a person falling asleep sitting. Eyes closing, it did indeed fall asleep, yet still aware of its surroundings, the eight creatures below it occasionally stirring, its own energy commanding them be at ease.
"So..." Son Goku spoke "What's the plan for this little multi-universe pack going on? Unless there are other weird villains running around?" The monkey wiped some dirt off of one of his four tails, yawning. Chess also joined in, saying "Son Goku is right. Anyone here have an idea about what to do next?" It was almost back to square one. A group of individuals from different realities put together, most likely wanting to find a way back home.

"My ankle's fine," The Doctor replied with a short sigh, glancing over at Kurama as it spoke. Well, it made sense. He was a Time Lord (half-human, but it didn't matter), and Castiel was an angel. Of course their "chakras" or whatever would be strange. He looked over to Chess as he spoke, glanced around, and then said, "Well, we do have my ship now. There's no way that the Gedo Statue could fit, but I could try to use it to get us out of here."
