"I am older than everyone here," Datara told Clara simply "I have been through more than anyone here. You idiots are nothing in the face of my age." Datara was literally, in its own universe, the first thing ever. It was the first breath of existence. It created the oceans it drank from, pulled together mountains that it would lay against. And, it was the very energy that gave shinobi their power. Staring at the Time Lord, Datara spoke lowly "You do not want to start fights with me, Doctor. Heed the defective angel and your companion, who know their place enough to try and diffuse the situation instead of continue it."

The Time Lord ground his teeth, staring up at Datara with spite behind his eyes, but as even Castiel stepped forward and tugged on his arm, moving him backwards, he allowed the angel to do so. He hated it, but he did. The thing was right; The Doctor was no match for it, probably not even when he had his TARDIS and was in his own element.

"And finally you realize it," Datara chuckled, the first sound of amusement they've heard it make. It looked at The Doctor, one eye still narrow as it continued "Talk to me like that again when you have the power." All the time they talked, it still had its hand through the rip. The screams slowly faded, and Datara tilted its head and looked back, and tsked "Hm. I used it all up. How pathetically weak lifespans. And there were a lot too" Taking its hand back, its entire body though, one got a glimpse of the dried out masses of corpses before the rip snapped shut.

Kazuya grit his teeth. All of his instincts were telling him to fight this demon, as he had done with so many others in the past. However, something told him that he wouldn't win. This thing was stronger than the Bels, and even Babel. He settled for silently glaring at Datara while keeping Fafnir curled around him.

Castiel grimaced, releasing the Time Lord's arm and glancing around. The little girl and boy were crying. The redheaded woman was holding both of them close. Claire seemed in shock. He himself felt disgust bubbling in his chest, but simply laid a few fingers gently on The Doctor's upper arm, asking, "Are you alright?" The creature just shrugged him off, nostrils flaring as he backed up a few more steps from Datara, and Cas, crossing his arms over his chest and looking down at the ground, black shoe tapping angrily on the cement.

(I'm claiming someone else X3 Shukaku from Naruto :3)
"Don't look at me like I'm the bad guy," Datara snorted "Three of you here have yet to even thank me." It only asserted itself in the current reality because no one there even tried to stop it. Datara narrowed its eye at the thought of folk from its own reality being there. Now, there were some who knew how to at least fight back. Glancing around, it decided "I don't need chunks of petty souls and defiled grace giving me looks. I think I'm to head on to another area. And, Doctor? I do look to fight with you, as you've annoyed me the most. You seem a worthy being, all you need is something to fight with. Good luck." And with that, Datara lurched forward, hands reaching out to catch it. And then Datara was running off, nimbly avoiding buildings and such, vanishing within seconds.

(I'm pretty sure it's open, faun :3)
As Fafnir uncurled itself and stood on its hind legs beside its master, Kazuya narrowed his eyes at the departing Datara. He'd keep an eye out in case the beast did something else, but for now, it was probably best to leave him alone. Even though the danger was gone, he kept Fafnir out. Just in case.
"That hee-demon is kinda mean, ho..." Black Frost said. The dark demon huffed and looked up at Kazuya. "Next chance I get, I'm gonna give hee-him magical punishment, ho!"

@bolderpelt tinybreeze Soon after Datara was gone, a soft voice spoke "Well, wasn't that just disastrous?" Then, a cat poofed into view, gray with dark blue stripes, front paws resting on Castiel's head, positioned to prop his chin up. A massively wide grin split his face, continuing "I think it just went to be out of view so it could continue to siphon energy from wherever. That has tyrannical savage written all over it..." The cat played with Cas' hair, petting the angel as he looked around, deciding "None of you have the firepower to even dent such a thing... but..." He trailed off in his thought, as if thinking of something. Everyone could tell, that Datara would probably be that one nut who wanted to rule the new reality, as no apparent leader or native life had appeared. And subjects just seemed to be popping up. Still, the cat could probably assume that everyone there wanted to fight Datara. Kill it, even.

Fafnir growled in surprise at the feline, but Kazuya held up a hand to calm it down. "But what?" he asked the cat, having a feeling that it had an idea. He wasn't sure if he could trust it, but he'd rather trust the cat than the demon that just sucked the life out of countless innocent people.

"My name is Chess, and I myself am able to travel between realities as well," he spoke "I just watched the little episode before this, and well... I don't want to be ruled by a... that." He pointed a paw to where Datara had left. Going back to petting Castiel, Chess continued "There's always something to butt heads with the big dogs. If I can get a... um... sample, or that thing, I can gain some of its knowledge and travel to its reality for a short while, and see about bringing through... help." Chess was not able to permanently switch realities like Datara was, and wasn't able to on his own, which was why a piece of Datara was needed. Chess could switch to your reality if he had anything from you. Clothing you touched. A hair. A tooth. Even your waste, as gross as it was. Switching realities was... common, where he came from. Tail swishing, he continued "I can't fight, but you lot look like you can. How about it? Stall enough to get me that sample?"

"You bet, ho! Black Frost, warrior of love and rage, can hee-fight it, ho!" Frosty shouted eagerly. Either he was brave, or didn't comprehend the danger Datara posed.
"I guess if we work together, we can distract it enough... Sraosha, come on out," Kazuya said, and a blue, winged humanoid appeared. He glanced around. "If we're going to do this, it might be best for me to do most of the attacking. Sraosha's shield will keep me from getting hurt by most attacks."

"I guess we could, it would have to be a group effort, Barry here is the fastest out of all us. I won't be much help with the shape I'm in. But I'll try and do what I can on the attack."
Clara nodded. " It will have to be a group effort. But I will do what I can." She stated.

"I am pretty fast, but my powers are acting up; I'll try to keep it stable enough to help," Barry nodded, dusting off his suit and pulling his mask back on.
"I can open portals and adjust small segments of time, but with less.. Death and mayhem involved." Vivienne looked at all of them, wringing her hands together as she watched everyone come together.
"I'm a necromancer, so I might be able to help as well." Adrián raised her hand meekly, not very fond of openly announcing her powers, but now was better than never and dealing with the consequences later.
"I assume bullets do nothing but irritate something like that," John pulled out his gun and Stanford pulled out a different one of his own, both wondering what could be done with something like that.

"Well, with the COMP's Harmonizer active, you should be able to harm it," Kazuya said to John, pulling out the mentioned device. "It's literally the only reason I can harm demons at all, or even survive their attacks." It was a bit surprising that some of these people had powers, though. Were they connected to demons? Or was there a reason he was unaware of?

"You all still must take caution," Chess told them "That thing feeds on energy, not just life, which is readily available. I've been watching since it appeared, and it feeds on anything that gives off any energy at all. If anything, at least let it touch your tools and machines. Never yourself, or you'll be sucked dry of life from the point we face it and on." The cat looked among them all, deciding "I've only seen one thing cause it to feel actual pain, and it comes not from any of you, unless you truly surprise me. That is why my request to switch realities is crucial. The only thing that can stand up to a god is another god." He smiled his wide grin, adding "But creatures below a god sure know how to put up a hell of a fight sometimes."

So it's like Beldr, but even more dangerous... "We'll have to be quick, then. It'll be risky to drag things out," Kazuya noted. He looked down at Black Frost, who had skipped over towards him. "Oh, and Frosty, don't get too close to that thing. I'm not sure what would happen to you if you did." Black Frost pouted, but didn't argue.

Cas had flinched something appeared on his head, but had stilled and listened as it began to speak in an almost mellifluous voice. "God is missing," he said simply, "in my universe." He did wonder what the thing on his head looked like though, but he had no way of knowing unless he wanted to pick it up. "Though, I do have various angelic powers, if that would help." Eleven and Mike remained silent, as did Natasha. Eleven and Nat, of course, could fight, but neither had anything to offer to the cat. "I can't fight without my ship," The Doctor said, after a moment. He was still pouting, brow scrunched as he glared down at Cas' shoes.

"Just don't regenerate on me Doctor." Clara chimed in, smiling and teasing.
Kara took a step back, thinking and then groaned, "Not this again... I've faced an organism something similar to this. My friend nearly died, helping me." She didn't mention that she also almost died at the same time. "I'm guessing that heat vision won't help us here?" Kara joked trying to keep things light. "I could try and keep him busy from the skies, but no guarantee for the amount of time that I can stay up there. My powers are severely hampered currently."

So everyone was from different universes? That explained a lot, actually. "Just try not to fly for too long. I'm not sure I'd be able to send Sraosha up in time if you fall," Kazuya told Kara. He then waved his two demon partners over and spoke to them in a low voice. To those that could hear, he seemed to be telling them what they should do in the battle. Something about "Shield All" and "Evil Wave." Once he was finished, the teen looked around at the group. "Should we get started soon?"

Chess frowned at The Doctor. He slid down Castiel's back, paws instead of claws digging in like fingers so he wouldn't just fall off. The chubby cat simply levitated once he reached the ground, over to The Doctor. Up, up, up until their faces were level. Then, he ripped out a tiny chunk of The Doctor's soft hair. Grin splitting his face, Chess disappeared in a puff of smoke. A few minutes passed before that familiar blue telephone box shimmered into view, Chess sitting on top.
"Now," Chess decided, leaving the TARDIS to swim through the air "Let's get going, hm?" Dog-paddling through the air back over to Castiel, the cat put himself so he was laying on the angel's head again, adding "I'll need you to come with me. What I aim to bring through will not openly listen to someone as petty as me. They'll hear out a creation of a god."

Kazuya raised an eyebrow at Chess. Another reality-warper, but at least they seemed friendly. "Alright. Let's go. Black Frost, stay close to me." The black demon cheerfully followed the demon tamer and his two partners, with this group of four taking the lead. Kazuya knew that Sraosha's abilities made him the ideal main attacker, but he was still worried that Datara would be able to pierce the shield like it had pierced reality.

"Ow! What the hell are you..." The Doctor trailed off, hand resting on his head where the hair had been plucked off as he waited, staring at the air and jumping slightly before breaking into a smile as the cat reappeared with his TARDIS. As the thing was speaking to Cas, it began to float down, eventually landing with a loud thump on the concrete. "Thank you," he called over to the cat, who was now speaking to the angel about going to somewhere.
So, it was a cat? Odd. Well, not a cat. Cas knew it had to be some kind of creature, but he did not know of anything like it in his own universe. "And where are we going?" he questioned simply, eyes straining to look upwards at the thing resting on his head. He could catch a glimpse of pink and purple fur tickling his forehead, but nothing else. "Cas, don't leave me," Claire hissed softly, tugging at the angel's sleeve. "Claire," Cas said, turning his head with some difficulty and trying to smile softly, "you'll be okay. Trust me."

"When we make the jump, after the sample from that thing is acquired," Chess explained as he went back to petting Cas' hair "We'll be making the jump to where that thing came from. I've been there once, thanks to a reality warper named Kakashi. I used some of his hair to make that jump. Don't worry though. We won't be trapped there. We'll actually have limited time before we're warped back by force." The pink and purple feline looked over at Claire, telling her "If all goes well, Mr. Trench Coat will be returned safely to you."
Looking over at the others, he said "Let's get going. That thing is probably stealing more lives as we speak. I can feel the tremors..."

"...Alright," Cas finally replied, "go ahead." He took a moment though, giving Claire that awkward smile of his. For her, it just reminded her of the fact that Cas wasn't her dad (her dad's smile had been so full of life and warmth), but she smiled back nonetheless. She might not've had a dad now, but Cas, and to a lesser extent Dean and Sam, were the closest things she had to one, so she was nice to the three of them. She would've been lying if she'd said that Cas was her favorite though. Dean was the best.

Kazuya nodded and continued walking, keeping an eye out for Datara. It wouldn't be too hard to find such a massive beast. He sent Sraosha up into the air to find them. The Divine demon soon swooped back down, pointing toward where it had seen the ten-tailed creature. Kazuya could feel the same aura as last time getting stronger as they got closer. Is he already absorbing even more energy?

"Oh nono," Chess said with a yawn "No need to give your goodbye looks just yet. I have no sample from the beast we seek yet to fuel my jump. You two can cry over each other once I say so." Chess needed a piece of someone if he wanted to travel between realities, every time. Glancing around, he made sure everyone was ready. Chess sighed a little, wishing his own were here. Blinking once, he asked aloud to everyone "Does anyone have a cutting weapon? Or a sharp set of chompers? To get that sample from our large foe?" At that point, the odd cat was looking around, pinpointing where they would need to go. He pointed, saying "West. Over there is where our little battle shall begin, new friends of mine. And you, Cas, right? Like that one over there said? Stick close to my location when we leave, so no time is given for the beast to reach one or both of us and squash us or something."

Kazuya paused at Chess's question, turning around to face the feline. "If it's something sharp you need, Fafnir's claws should be able to cut something out," he said, gesturing towards the large Dragon demon beside him. That means we'll have to get in close, though, he thought. Even though they could use Fafnir's power to strike from a distance, that wouldn't help them grab something that was cut from Datara.

"Ah," Cas said simply, glancing over at Claire, before nodding (bobbing Chess up and down), as the cat explained the plan. "I have a blade," he offered after a moment, using one hand to carefully reveal the inside of his coat, where the angel blade hung, "and I assume that Claire has one too." The blonde girl nodded, patting at a place where her shirt hid her belt loop. Natasha murmured that she had a weapon as well, and Eleven and Mike remained silent, well, other than quiet mutterings amongst each other.

"Alrighty then, the more samples, the better," Chess decided "Now let's go. I'm getting bored." Finally rolling off of Cas' head, he levitated so he was swimming circles around him and Claire, paddling lazily as he said "And don't be those mooks that have dialogue before the battle. Best to surprise our foe in this case, as talking with it will do nothing at all." And so he began floating away, paddling off toward where he sensed Datara, motioning with a paw without looking back for everyone to follow if they so wished. None of this was weird at all. A bunch of individuals from a mess of universes, being led to battle against a crazy entity by an abnormally colored cat.
