WelcomeHello, I'm Sherk. I'd like to roleplay. I don't consider myself an "advanced" roleplayer. As in I don't enjoying writing twenty lines or five paragraphs every post. That stresses me out. Roleplaying, for me, is more about the fun of making a story together than it is about writing a bunch of fluff that would be cut from the final edit of a book anyway. I accept roleplayers all skill levels because of the above reasons, but I'll probably average about a small paragraph per post, though I vary greatly in my post length.
• Be friendly! • • Practice good roleplay etiquette! (no PPing, GMing, etc) • • Write so I can understand you! (no txt talk, adequate spelling/grammar, etc) • • Come back! (or tell me you're leaving) •

One-on-One Plots
The pairings at the end refer to possible romantic pairings. I don't usually ship, since platonic relationships can be even more fulfilling(a la Frodo and Sam), but I'm always open to it if the characters have chemistry. But any of these plots could potentially be played with only friendships in them.
Blue Sky ;; Victorian, Adventures, Slice-of-Life, Friendship ;; MxFIn the mid nineteenth century, Muse A is a big-city doctor, a bit uppity and proper, a right gentleman. When he moves to the small town of Blue Sky, Massachusetts to act as their doctor, after their old one died in an unfortunate accident, he meets Muse B, a tomboy who's lived there all her life. This unlikely duo meet and become friend when Muse B shows up at Muse A's clinic after one of her more dangerous adventures, Muse B dragging Muse A on far more adventures in the surrounding countryside and rocky shoreline than he would strictly like. Muse A ;; Name ;; Player Muse B ;; Name ;; PlayerA# Cookie ;; Modern, Travel, Music, Friendship ;; Any PairingI know that joke's a stretch, and I don't care. I'll derail entire conversations for the sake of a joke. The Amati Philharmonic is a world-famous orchestra based in Boston, Massachusetts. Muse A is the conductor of this orchestra, and they fought tooth and nail for this job. Muse B is the principle cellist of the orchestra, and are a wonderful musician, and they know it. The two of them played in the same orchestra in college, and were always pretty okay friends. Not best friends, but they'd hang out for a few hours if there was no-one else available. When their orchestra starts traveling the world to play in various famous concert halls, they begin spending more time together and strike up a friendship. Muse A ;; Name ;; Player Muse B ;; Name ;; PlayerWibbly-Wobbly ;; Sci-Fi, Slice-of-Life ;; Any PairingIn the distant future, people are able to vacation through space and time. Time travel is the best vacation money can buy, though there are rules be followed to ensure the integrity of the space-time continuum. A time traveler must learn the historical background, customs, manner of speaking and dress of the era before booking a trip. Most importantly, they must not interfere in any historical events in any significant way. Muse A chooses to take a vacation to the past. Their first day there, they meet Muse B, an era-native, in deep trouble. Muse A knows that they aren’t allowed to interfere, but they can’t in good conscience turn a blind eye. Because of their interference, Muse A is forbidden from returning to their time. Muse A ;; Aidan ;; flamerune Muse B ;; Hawkins ;; Sherk
Incomplete Plots - You can look at them and claim them if you're interested, but their descriptions are just outlines and not really complete either. Also they're both named after Hamilton songs, wow, I'm a nerd.
Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story / Adventure, Medieval, Fantasy, Angst / No Pairing Muse A has dead parent/child/friend/lover but no, uses irresponsible magic to bring them back, bad stuff happens. Muse B is a bounty hunter for god of death. Or maybe they are Death idk anything at all. Ever. Basically they hate Muse A for being a necromancer. But doesn't outright murder them. Maybe they help Muse A come to terms with the death or they get together and interact for some other reason. Again, I'm a big dummy who doesn't know anything.
I'll be Back / Adventure, Medieval / MxF, MxM Muse A is a corrupt king, hyuuuuge jerk, is captured by some other kingdom or something, Muse B(either captor or another prisoner or a passing traveler) helps him escape, but Muse A's such a big jerk they don't really wanna help him get back to his castle. Basically Emperor's New Groove, but medieval and different

Group Plots
The Great Journey / Warriors, Adventure / Various pairings While Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, Shadowclan, and Skyclan are living in the forest, the medicine cats of all five clans get a message from Starclan, and are told about a group of cats living far away, who cannot function in group life. They are currently outside of Starclan's reach. So each of the clans are ordered to send two cats on a journey to reach these cats and teach them how to live in a group. The journey will be long and perilous, and there is little chance of the questing cats returning home. For a group of 5+ people, credit to Sweetclover1 for the original idea.
The Other's Gold / Modern, Slice-of-Life / Various pairings They meet in first grade and form a tight bond of friendship that would last all the way up until they graduated from high school. This plot just follows one unlikely group of friends while they grow up, through their ups and their downs and new frinds arriving and old ones leaving, every person plays one kid in this group, and we'll see how far we can take it. For a group of 3+ people.

Alright, medieval it is! My character will be named Hawkins, and I need to start writing more female characters, so she'll be a gal.

Alright, I'll probably start seeing as it'd be easier to just jump into the action with Hawkin's trouble. Unless you would like to do it.

OOC: Whoops I disappeared for longer than you. //shot
At least I got a snow day.
BIC: Hawkins peered out of the window of her little home, furling her brow in concern as the mob rounded the crest of the hill. It was a nice mob. Full of torches and pitchforks. They really went all out when they were going to burn someone at the stake for witchcraft.
Not that she was a witch. She wasn't! They'd gotten it in their heads that she was, so who was she to argue?
Hawkins tore herself from the window and returned to shoving as much of her belongings as she could into the bag, then flung it over her back and dashed for the back door to fling it open.

Aidan had just arrived, and he was in awe. Weeks of training and classes, and now he was here. His green eyes were wide, and he spun to take everything in. He walked around, exploring. He noticed a small cottage meters away, but he didn't think about it. He took a deep breath, his dirty blonde hair rustling in the wind.

Hawkins burst out of the cottage in a tizzied panic, sprinting away from her home just moments before the mob began beating down her door. She dashed down the hill, aiming for the woods only a couple hundred meters away. Spending a few nights there while searching for whatever town or village she could hunker down in, while dangerous, was a lot less dangerous staying here and being burned for witchcraft.
But, ohhhh, oh no. There was someone else here! She didn't recognize him as a member of the village, so there was a chance he hadn't been at the trial or whatever meeting they'd determined she was a witch, and didn't know, but still...
Hawkins brushed past him, shielding her face, "sorry sir!" She called as she did.

I'm interested in Blue Sky. I'm leaning more towards the Doctor, because it's a little different than other rap's I've done. (I am very open for either though if you have a side in mind) OR I'm also interested in Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story because that'll get out a lot of angst out. I also rarely do magical rping.

Hi!
I'd be open to doing either of those with you. In Blue Sky, I don't really care which character I go with, since I like both the archetypes, though the doc is more similar to the sort of characters I usually roleplay.
As for the other one, we'd have to do a bit of extra planning of course. But it would probably be worth it.
It depends entirely on you, for which one we do, of course. I guess it somewhat hinges on how much work you're willing to put into it before we start RPing.

I think I'l have to go with the second one here. It's giving me real FMA vibes and I'm loving it.

Alright! Good choice. So, what role do you want the non-necromancer to take? Grim Reaper, Paladin-type, maybe they could be the person that was resurrected? That's a possibility. Dunno how successful it would be though. And which character would you like? That's important too.
ahhh. I gotta respond.

Just an idea: If the person resurrected looks like a distorted version of the family member/friend/etc. but really is the grim reaper or some sort of protector of the sanctity of death. or the person comes back and they really enjoyed death (or understand it's benefits) and know what harmful things happen to the world if they continue living, breaking the cycle of life.
Also separating the revived from the death god would an interesting plot. the revived just being evil.
I'm cool for either parts but if you don't care I'll choose one once we get this fleshed out more.
