In terms of current Medicine Cats, from the lineup at the moment:
Peachdapple will be dying within 6 moons, due to the build up of Clovekit preparing to become Windclan's medicine cat apprentice once Eclipsesky retires. This will mean Aspenfall will be Thunderclan's medicine cat. Currently, Thistle has reserved the apprentice position, so that will be building up in the future.
Opalmist, who was once a former roleplayer's character that was given to us to rp, will be exiled alongside Frostyfoot at the upcoming gathering, the Skyclan warrior she secretly had kits with, as her daughter Echowing will reveal the secret, leading to her and Frostyfoot's exile. This is to allow for Willow's switch from Windclan's medicine cat rper to the rper of Shadowclan's medicine cat apprentice, Mistkit.
Eclipsesky's retirement will make Dawnshadow Windclan's medicine cat, with Clovekit becoming her apprentice in the future.
We'll let you know if there are any changes as well!

Good to know! I've been thinking about her potential character arcs and a DF arc felt very fitting, though I'm not certain where it would lead-- just that it would contrast with the two ideas I've put together for Pebble. I'm going back and forth on his arc at the moment; someone mentioned that Peachdapple would be dying soon, so a medicine cat would be a good option, but I also thought about making him a Daisy-esque character that help cares for kits and helps around the camp a bit. I guess I'll just have to see what StarClan has in store... I believe the medicine cat apprentice spot is already reserved for Thunderclan after Peachdapple’s death, unfortunately, but him being a tom version of a perma-Queen could be super interesting! Looks like that's how I'll do some character planning, then. Thanks for sharing this! |

RP NEWS
It's been decided that medicine cats who break the code will lose their connection to StarClan. They won't be able to receive prophecies, omens, or signs. They won't know how many lives their leader has and they won't be able to sense reincarnated cats. They'll still have their skills in healing, but every gift or 'power' they receive from StarClan will be lost. They can receive their abilities back if they own up to what they did and make it right in the eyes of StarClan, but they'll still face whatever punishment their leaders decide. This decision has been made so that there is still a punishment for medicine cats who break the code and get away with it in the eyes of the Clan.

I promise it's pretty small, don't have do say on prophecies side.
Treestripes(my character) will see a bloody moon and be scared. The meaning of the prophecy it's Moonpetal(his crush) will die soon.
(I'm a little insecure about this idea, it's feels like i'm goddmoding)

I was thinking of a new character.. (actually it's not new , I used her a lot on WCUE) named Mintkit, she likes to close her eyes and sense the nature every dawn and dusk. I posted about her here in case someone wants to give me an idea. Her clan? I have to check if any clan with few kits wants to claim her.. But my preferance is Riverclan or Windclan.

I was wondering how one would go about cross-clan character lore? I'm not entirely sure exactly what I want to do, but because of Stormrunner and Buckpaw's intertying lore, I feel like something should happen lol, if anyone wants to get involved?

I guess what you could do next would depend on your characters. Stormrunner was found halfdead in ThunderClan, so where do you plan on starting his story? After he's waking up healed? Or after he's been in ThunderClan a while, already deciding he wants to stay there permanently? You could also consider how likely is he going to be searching for Buckpaw? Does he remember where he dropped off Stag? Would he ask ThunderClan to help him find him? Or would he let it go in the hopes that Stag is better off without him until he sees him at a gathering? There's a lot of potential for good plot here, especially since ThunderClan and ShadowClan have never gotten along. Stormrunner and Buckpaw would be on opposing ends and that could bring them both conflict. I would suggest taking a closer look at your characters. How do you see them interacting with each once they realize the other is alive and in a different Clan? |

I agree completely with Moon here, t1nk! I actually have a similar relationship with two of my characters, Diamondheart of Riverclan and Hornetstrike of Thunderclan, and alot of their dynamic is them realizing as apprentices that they were long lost brothers from kithood, but also coming to choose their loyalty for their Clans over being together in the same Clan. Hornetstrike and Diamondheart have battled eachother at Sunningrocks and understand that their kinship is not above their Clans. This could be completely different for Buckpaw and Stormrunner, depending on how you want their relationship to go from here! You could even do something like Stormrunner having memory loss while Buckpaw remembers his father, and that in itself creates conflict!

I was thinking of starting Stormrunner's story a little while after he was found, when he has healed just enough to be able to wander the camp on his own but not enough to properly start helping out with hunting and fighting. I think it will take him a while to start looking for Buckpaw again since I don't think he would remember where he dropped him off. It would be a long enough pause for a gathering to occur I think. I like Moonblazer's idea of a memory loss type thing, but I think I might swap the cats around lol with Buckpaw being too young when he was found to remember a lot of his past, and Stormrunner being badly scarred from the attack, I think Buckpaw wouldn't recognize him when they first meet and it would take some convincing from Stormrunner's part for him to believe that he is his father. I also like the idea of Stormrunner changing clans to be with his son after a battle with Shadowclan or something along the lines of that, and the consequences of that would make for some good RP!

That sounds like a plan! I gotta warn you, I can't promise that Stormrunner will be welcome into ShadowClan. It'll depend on how things go and what's going on with Cedarstar at the time. If it was my old leader, he would be welcome, but Cedarstar's firmer than Northstar was.
