Willow's curated funest facts! I wish I had more from the olden days but alas they have been lost :/

-Willowtail was the first character I ever made for the rp, I made her as a queen making Sparrowstrike and Skyflight my first kits to be born within the rp.

-Willowtail and Sparrowpaw escaped Robinstar with Lavendersky, Russetfall and Woodkit to the Shadowclan border. They were met with Brightpaw of Shadowclan who took them to camp to see Northstar.

-Tinypool, Echosplash and Lilypetal did not flee Adderclan because they refused to abandon Stormsplash who had been blinded by Adderstar’s pursuit of glory. Once he realized the true evil behind Adderclan’s plans, he fled with his family and Streampool but it cost Lilypetal her life.

-Batflight, Ribbondance, Scorchfire & Blackstrike & Sparrowpaw (Of Skyclan) were hunting for the gathered clans a highstones when they found Rainpaw and Splashkit of Skyclan & brought them to the highstones camp.

-Swallowfeather and Cloudscar met and fell in love while Shadowclan and Windclan were co-habitating in highstones camp.

-Fallowmeadow taught Swiftstar to climb trees which is a skill her mother taught her before she joined the clan

-Cloversong was made deputy of Windclan in Summer of 2012, she was deputy for a few months before Willow's laptop literally exploded and she had no way to access the forums effectively getting Cloversong killed. RIP Falcontalon was made deputy before April of 2013, but not exactly sure when.

-Wildspirit had to lead Windclan to a gathering once due to Scarstar and the current deputy Leafclaw were “sick”

-Eclipsesky began his medicine cat training as a kit at the highstones camp

-Bumbleskip and Brightflame became mates the day they became warriors

-Oceankit (Oceanstorm) was made an apprentice at the highstones camp

-Softmist effectively raised like half of the current warriors of Shadowclan after their parents died

-In Shadowblossom's original form I said she was rude, disliked living in Thunderclan and planned for her to originally be the dark forest siblings, before I changed it up and made it Darkblood instead.

-Oceanpaw (Oceanstorm) ran from highstones camp to Shadowclan to report to Northstar that Adderclan had attacked Windclan’s camp. Northstar took quick action and ordered Cliffheart, Crimsontail, Grassflame, and Bumbleskip to come with her to aid WindClan!

-Briarkit is listed as a kit at the highstones camp in August of 2013. She is STILL a kit June of 2016.

-Falcontalon took Robinstar’s 7th life

-Falcontalon led a patrol of Stormcloud, Crowfur, Spiderfang, Batflight, & Loneraven on a night hunt in Thunderclan territory using Snowdance’s wild garlic to disguise their scent after a flood left the clan very hungry

-Ribbondance and Redspark were captured by twolegs, after Ribbondance had the idea of trying to hunt birds in the twolegplace. Northstar led Bumbleskip, Oakstalk, & Spiderfang to rescue them.

-Falcontalon had to lead Shadowclan to a gathering and report with the leaders when Northstar was missing

-Falcontalon made Ratpaw, Pouncepaw, Moonpaw, Marshpaw, Lionpaw, Leafpaw and Onyxpaw apprentices while Northstar was missing

-Sandfall’s leg was injured from a badger, Scarstar lost her last life saving him from death.

-Falcontalon received a report from Swiftstep that his sister Sweetcloud was missing. Falcontalon led patrol Cherryvine, Cardinalblaze, Talltalon, Swiftstep and Honeyleap to look for her. Honeyleap started to act suspiciously and ran when blood was found on a tree. Talltalon chased after him as Cardinalblaze found a hastily dug grave containing Sweetcloud. Honeyleap confessed to Talltalon and he was escorted back to camp as a prisoner. Northstar banished Honeyleap. Falcontalon, Stormfury, Stormcloud and Talltalon escorted him out of the territory, but Honeyleap attacked Falcontalon and injured his shoulder badly. Talltalon and Stormcloud chased Honeyleap out of the territory while Stormfury helped Falcontalon back to camp. The injury caused Falcontalon to step down as Shadowclan’s deputy and retire to the elder’s den.

-Mistyflower held secret affection for Cloudscar, but she knew about Swallowfeather & also had vowed never to take on another mate when Archclaw had died. She died without ever telling him.

-Stormsplash and Rainfeather only met once at the border before Rainfeather became pregnant with his kits.

-Thistlestalk, Poppyflame and Stormfury went to Windclan to warn them of the fire.

-Starrylight, Duskpaw, Palepaw and Whorlpaw were among the first ones to reach fourtrees to escape the great fire

-Hazelblaze was made a warrior at fourtrees after the great fire

-Swallowfeather died in the great fire with Rainfeather. The two being closed in by the flames with Stormfury forced to watch

-Darktail found Petalsky his sister dead in the smoke of the fire. He refused to leave her and suffered multiple burns on his back and legs from dragging her all the way to sunningrocks.

-Duskpaw & her siblings created the moss hollow where moss is grown in camp so it doesn’t have to be collected.

-Ashrock had to deliver Cherryvine’s kits due to Opalmist & Snowdance being out of camp.

-Hazelblaze’s back leg was badly injured by a coyote when she tried to save Talltalon from getting bit. Kinkfire and Talltalon had to help her back to camp afterward.

-Briarpatch and Flarestorm became mates after she realized she was pregnant with his kits

-Ashfeather and Willownose were mates for several moons before Ashfeather realized he had feelings for Redspring as well. They discussed Ashfeather being mates with both of them at the Shadowclan border.

Swiftstar learned as an apprentice at the highstones camp far before there were any inklings that he would be the next leader lol

11/29/16: Cloudscar reveals to Mistyflower that Swallowfeather had two more of his kits in the elder’s den. Cloudscar worries that he and Swallowfeather should not be mates anymore, the risks are too high.

11/30/16: Shademoon urges Pinefeather to sleep, the queen had been up all night watching over Foxkit, worried that if she closed her eyes the kit would die.

12/2/16: Closesky and Spiderfang discuss Northstar’s illness. Closesky blames Ratpaw for bringing the sickness to the clan. Meanwhile, Ratpaw is attempting to leave the medicine cat den with Leafpaw’s support.

12/2/16: Mistyflower and Snowdance go to check on Brightmask together. The elder has fallen very ill and requests Mistyflower to find her kits and Ratpaw. Mistyflower runs to retrieve them while Snowdance does what she can for Brightmask. Ratpaw, Jaysong, Tigerfury and Littlemoon rush to Brightmask’s side, Brightmask tells Ratpaw that Aurablaze loves him despite how she acts and that she loves him before she dies.

12/3/16: Vinemask joins the others in the medicine cat den with the sickness.

12/3/16: Goldberry and Swirlheart become mates

12/6/16: Crowfur falls sick

12/13/16: Ratpaw sneaks out of the medicine cat den and heads for the Skyclan border. Ratpaw catches sight of Deadpaw of Skyclan and steals prey from him. The two start a fight. Deadpaw eventually lets him take the bird due to Ratpaw threatening to tell Spiritstar that he was out in the middle of the night alone. Spiderfang then finds Ratpaw at the border, scolds him for being out alone and leads him back to camp.

12/13/16: Pouncefire dies of the sickness, her body discovered by Ratpaw. Snowdance blames herself for falling asleep. Aurablaze growls at Ratpaw and tells him Starclan took the wrong littermate. Northstar goes to comfort Aurablaze while Leafpaw and Opalmist tend to Ratpaw

12/15/16: Foxkit falls sick and is moved to the medicine cat den despite Pinefeather’s protests

12/20/16: Closesky takes Ferretpaw out to train, the apprentice is frustrated that Emberfang never seems to be around to train him.

12/20/16: Spiderfang takes Ratpaw hunting at the carrionplace, instructing Ratpaw to scare rats out so Spiderfang can catch one. Ratpaw knocks over a large carrion pile and too many rats come rushing out. Ratpaw manages to catch one but Spiderfang is so shocked that she misses them. Instead, starting to yell at Ratpaw about how careless that was. Ratpaw runs away from Spiderfang and her yelling, hiding in a tree to escape her.

12/22/16: *fun fact* Spiderfang tells Mouseclaw she wants more kits. Mouseclaw also mentions that he thinks Starry will announce she’s pregnant soon

12/23/16: Oakstalk and Ribbondance discuss their worries for Ferretpaw with all the trouble he’s been causing with the other apprentices. They attempt to talk to their son & find he’s frustrated with his lack of training. Oakstalk and Ribbondance offer to take him out now for a lesson, Oakstalk helping him with his battle moves while Ribbondance watches.

12/23/16: Falcontalon asks Roseleaf to take a walk with him and talk for the first time since her affair with Goldberry was revealed. Falcontalon tells Roseleaf that he has missed her dearly and even through the heartbreak, he still loves her. Roseleaf cries and tells him how sorry she is. Falcontalon forgives her and they agree to be mates again

12/24/16: Sandflower has had Lynxdapple’s kits! Hollykit, Oakkit and Lilykit are all healthy.

12/24/16: Vinemask succumbs to greencough while Bumbleskip and Opalmist are watching over her.

12/28/16: Northstar visits the medicine cat den to ask Opalmist how everything is going. She asks after Vinemask, Opalmist is surprised and reminds Northstar that Vinemask died. Ratpaw who was in his nest thinks about seeing Northstar at the vigil and even giving Bumbleskip condolences but the apprentice stays silent.

12/28/16: Scorchfire and Icefire discuss how they’re worried about Poppypaw, their daughter has been seeming more and more distant and angry with them lately.

12/29/16: Cedarstorm takes out Hollowpaw, Frogpaw, and Leafpaw. Teaching them night ambush

12/29/16: Leafpaw visits Ratpaw who tells her he would like to talk to Closesky about Northstar. The two apprentices go and wake up the elder. Ratpaw confesses to Closesky that Northstar forgot Vinemask had died. Closesky asks the apprentices not to tell anyone for fear of the clan losing faith in their leader during the greencough outbreak.

12/31/16: Thistlepaw and Ferretpaw get into a fight, Ferretpaw states that he’s the best fighter in the clan. Thistlepaw argues back that Northstar and Falcontalon are the best, that’s why they’re the leader and deputy. Ferretpaw scoffs and says he is going to be better than them. Thistlepaw huffs and stalks away from his brother to Poppypaw. Ferretpaw sulks over to Ribbondance asking his mother whether she likes him or not because obviously, Thistlepaw doesn’t.

1/1/17: Falcontalon assesses Ferretpaw, Hollowpaw & Thistlepaw’s skills with Oceanstorm, Oakstalk & Ribbondance.

1/3/17: Leafpaw stops Houndpaw from bullying Frogpaw, offering to help Frogpaw train with Onyxtip and Lionscorch. Houndpaw scoffs and says they’re not that good of warriors, Leafpaw quickly knocks him to the ground to prove him wrong. Frogpaw thanks Leafpaw for the help.

1/3/17: Starrylight tells Closesky she’s expecting Cedarstorm’s kits!

1/3/17: Hollowpaw flirts shamelessly with Ratpaw as a way to get back at Leafpaw

That depends, moonclaw. If it's just a dream or premonition/warning of sorts, then it would be posted on the Clan page, but if your character is actually visiting the dark forest, training there and interacting with cats, then it would be on the Dark Forest page. I hope that makes sense.

Sounds good! Which character is it? I'll add him to the plot on the front page here. There are several members with Dark Forest cats if you want his dark forest mentor to be one of them.

I gotta get some friendships in, maybe some rivalries, etc -- you know, that good drama. You can click on the "my characters" link in my signature to see his basic info! SHADOWCLAN LOST NEWS pages 150-200

1/3/17: Raccoonpaw speaks with Goldberry, Goldberry tells her that she should continue on as Falcontalon’s daughter and forget about him. Raccoonpaw gets angry and states Falcontalon is not her father, Goldberry is, she was tired of living a lie. Goldberry agreed to be a bigger part of Racconpaw’s life if she promised to continue to love Falcontalon as well.

1/3/17: Lionscorch & Songbreeze are now mates!

1/3/17: Hollowpaw and Leafpaw start a fight while Ratpaw sits between them. Leafpaw states that no one likes Ratpaw better than she does, Hollowpaw accuses Leafpaw of flirting with multiple toms in the clan, which makes Ratpaw upset. Leafpaw gets up, taking Ratpaw with her denying Hollowpaw statement and telling him he’s her favorite.

1/4/17: Kinkfire and Stormcloud share prey and discuss patrols that went out that day, Stormcloud hopes for a few moons of peace. He accuses Thunderclan of not being able to one moon without causing trouble.

1/4/17: Hollowpaw sulks off to Frogpaw who is excited about the advancements in his training. Hollowpaw is upset that Leafpaw seemed to have really helped Frogpaw. Frogpaw doesn’t seem to notice that Hollowpaw is upset and requests they go hunting together.

1/4/17: Leafpaw visits Northstar, relaying that Ratpaw has been feeling much better. Northstar tells Leafpaw to focus on her own training, asking if her and her siblings final assessments are coming up. Leafpaw reminds Northstar that Onyxtip and Lionscorch already earned their names. Northstar recovers quickly and asks Leafpaw to fetch Closesky and Spiderfang for her.

1/4/17: Northstar asks Spiderfang how Ratpaw’s training is coming along. Spiderfang reports that Ratpaw’s hunting is excellent but his is a poor fighter despite his determination to improve. Spiderfang states she will not give up on Ratpaw, and thanks Northstar for the opportunity to train again after not being able to complete the training for her previous apprentices. Northstar looks lost and turns to Closesky for help. Closesky steps in and states he is sure Burntpaw and Raccoonpaw would have been fantastic warriors, it was a shame that they were lost so young.

1/5/17: Leafpaw and Ratpaw go hunting at the Skyclan border, once they get back to camp Ratpaw says he feels good enough to start training again and wakes up Spiderfang, who threatens to slice his ears if he does that again. Spiderfang gets up anyway and leads the way to a training session with Leafpaw following behind.

1/11/17: Northstar leaves her den and spots Goldberry outside the warrior’s den. In a moment of confusion, she charges at him, throwing him to the ground and demands to know what he’s doing in their camp when she banished him. The clan watches in horror. Closesky hurries over to try to calm down Northstar. Goldberry stammers out what happened at moonstone. Lynxdapple and Spiderfang fight for Goldberry to stay. Oakstalk smirks, hoping Northstar would exile him again. Northstar proclaims that Goldberry is banished once again for the murders of Sprucewing and Talonfury. Swirlheart threatens to leave Shadowclan as well if Goldberry is banished. Both leave camp together, Northstar demands Oakstalk to gather a patrol to make sure they leave the territory. Oakstalk takes Cliffheart and Brittlefoot with him. Ratpaw and Brittlefoot call out that Northstar’s decision was correct. Raccoonpaw cries while Cardinalpaw comforts her (page 160-162)

1/11/17: In the aftermath of Goldberry and Swirlheart leaving the territory. Raccoonpaw reveals to Ratpaw and Leafpaw that Goldberry is her true father. Raccoonpaw gets ready to attack Ratpaw for agreeing with Northstar. Northstar gets in between the apprentices, threatening to banish Raccoonpaw as well if she would like to choose Goldberry over her clan.

1/12/17: Sandflower tries to talk to Northstar telling the leader that she has forgiven Goldberry for attacking her in his previous state. Northstar does not relate, telling Sandflower to leave her den.

1/13/17: Clan life: Falcontalon comforts Cardinalpaw and Raccoonpaw, he promises he will do what he can as deputy to help Goldberry and Swirlheart come back to camp. Oakstalk and Ribbondance discuss the upcoming gathering with their kits. Lionscorch & Onyxtip and Spiderfang & Mouseclaw discuss Goldberry’s banishment separately. Bumbleskip goes to visit Redspark, Mosskit, Vixenkit, Blackkit, and Hazelkit in the nursery, they discuss having more kits in the future. Lightcloud goes hunting with Cloudflight.

1/21/17: Closesky pleads with Northstar to remember that Goldberry was possessed. Northstar fights back and states the dark forest isn’t strong enough to possess a cat like that. Closesky states that with Adderstar and Robinstar in their ranks they are. Northstar growls and states that if she ever sees Adderstar again, she will kill him. Closesky reminds her that Adderstar is dead and that something is wrong with her mind. Closesky pleads Northstar to keep her advisors close and to not act out of emotion alone. Northstar dismisses him with a firm reminder that she is leader and she will do what she thinks is right. (page 165)

1/21/17: Lionscorch and Songbreeze discuss the banishment. Songbreeze is concerned that Northstar is thinking irrationally and may banish her, she asks Lionscorch if he is on her side. Lionscorch agrees that he is and soothes Songbreeze’s anxiety. Songbreeze brings up her time training the dark forest, stating that she could have been like Goldberry if it wasn’t for Lionscorch and Cliffheart.

1/25/17-1/31/17: Clanlife: Crowfur and Cottonfur play with Lunarkit, Crowfur is very tired afterwards, he still has a cough from the sickness. Quailpaw and Raccoonpaw fight while Cardinalpaw tries to mediate between his sisters. Quailpaw storms off, Raccoonpaw asks Cardinalpaw whose side he is on. He states he is on neither side. Raccoonpaw sneers at him and tells him to go back to playing pretend with Roseleaf and Falcontalon. Kestralgaze and Jaysong go hunting together. Lynxdapple encourages Lilykit to go play with the other kits, she goes over to speak with Pinefeather and Robinkit nervously. Robinkit and Lilykit play mossball.

2/2/17: Stormfury wanders into Shadowclan territory after being banished from Windclan. Cliffheart, Oakstalk, Kinkfire and Kestralgaze find him. Stormfury requests to see Northstar, which the patrol grants. Kinkfire growls at him and states that if he didn’t want trouble, he should have waited at the border for a patrol to find him. Northstar meets Stormfury in the middle of camp while the clan watches, asking what the Windclan warrior wanted. Cloudscar watches anxiously from outside the warriors' den. Stormfury explains he’s been banished unjustly after a clanmate attacked him. Northstar requests further explanation which he provides. Kinkfire voices that he should be turned away. Oakstalk calls out that Stormfury is a good warrior and he would be useful to Shadowclan. Spiderfang agrees with Oakstalk. Brittlefoot calls out that he is untrustworthy. Sandflower pushes her kits into the nursery nervously before yowling that Stormfury should not be allowed to stay. Northstar silences the camp, asking why Stormfury picked Shadowclan to come to. Stormfury avoids the question stating he had no where else to go, and if Northstar wouldn’t accept him as a warrior, she could take him as a prisoner. Northstar allows him to stay as long as he is with Oakstalk or Cloudscar at all times when he is out of camp and that he is not allowed to join border patrols due to his different scent. Northstar asks Stormfury to remember this kindness that Shadowclan has offered him. (page 172)

2/3/17: Spiderfang requests to speak to Northstar about completing Ratpaw and Leafpaw’s final assessments. Northstar appears confused but nods, telling Spiderfang to let Loneraven and Lightcloud know to complete their assessments as quickly as possible. Spiderfang reminds Northstar that she had taken over Ratpaw’s training after Loneraven died. Northstar quickly dismisses Spiderfang, snapping at her to just get the assessments done.

2/8/17: Spiderfang, Lightcloud and Scorchfire complete Ratpaw and Leafpaw’s final assessment.

2/13/17: Ferretpaw and Hollowpaw are wrestling outside the apprentice’s den. Ferretpaw accidentally slices Hollowpaw, used to using his claws in his nightly visit to the dark forest. Cardinalpaw yells at Ferretpaw for being so careless and goes to get Opalmist to treat Hollowpaw’s wounds.

2/27/17: Dustrose, Lynxdapple, Cardinalpaw and Cloudflight go out on a border patrol together. After checking the border, Cloudflight and Cardinalpaw go hunting. Cardinalpaw seems to have a bit of a crush on the young warrior! Unfortunately, Cardinalpaw gets stuck in a large patch of mud and has to have Cloudflight pull him out.

3/9/17: Spiderfang and Scorchfire report to Northstar that Ratpaw and Leafpaw have passed their assessments! Shadowclan has two new warriors Ratmask and Leaffrost!

4/3/17: Spiderfang, Cliffheart and Lionscorch are about to head out for a patrol when they spot Eaglesight who seems to be limping and bruised. Cliffheart asks after his son, concerned for him. Eaglesight brushes it off and asks to join the patrol. Eaglesight does not seem keen to explain where his injuries came from.

4/21/17: Spiderfang talks to Stormfury who is sulking in the corner of camp. The former Windclan warrior complains that he can’t do anything without Cloudscar following him around. Cloudscar asks Spiderfang to take Stormfury hunting, allowing them to go without him. Spiderfang teaches him how to hunt frogs

4/22/17 Clan life: Hollykit, Oakkit and Lilykit play while Sandflower and Lynxdapple talk. Flintclaw takes Cardinalpaw out to train. Shortcloud, Brittlefoot, Poppypaw, and Oakstalk go out on a patrol. Oakstalk seemed rather annoyed that Brittlefoot invited himself to join them.

11/20/17: Onyxtip and Leaffrost go hunting and gossip about how close Cherryvine and Stormfury seem lately. Thistlepaw and Ferretpaw practice their hunter’s crouch. Cedarstorm goes to visit Starrylight in the nursery. Mouseclaw and Spiderfang discuss peaceful moons with their new kits arriving soon. Oakstalk helps Ribbondance stretch her stiff leg.

11/20/17: Starrylight has had Cedarstorm’s kits! Palekit, Whorlkit and Duskkit were all born healthy!

11/21/17-12/19/17: Stormcloud settles next to Kinkfire, who expresses her happiness for her brother and mate. Stormcloud asks Kinkfire if she wants kits in the future. Owlshadow is curled up beside Cliffheart’s unmoving body with Littlemoon. Ratmask and Aurablaze discuss what will happen to Cliffheart, Aurablaze apologizes to Ratmask about the way she used to treat him. Ratmask does not believe her apology and storms off. Raggedthorn and Aurablaze speak within the elder’s den. Raggedthorn continually forgets that Mistyflower has joined Starclan and asks after her despite Aurablaze’s scathing responses.

12/19/17: Swirlheart grooms Coalkit, Crystalkit and Honeykit. The kits continually ask when Goldberry will be back. Falcontalon visits Starrylight, Spiderfang and Roseleaf in the nursery. Oakstalk helps Thistlepaw, Hollowpaw and Ferretpaw practice for their final assessment. Lynxdapple, Oceanstorm and Cherryvine go out hunting together, mourning Mistyflower together. Leaffrost does her best to keep Ratmask warm, Leaffrost shares her concerns about Spiderfang kitting in the middle of leafbare.

1/2/18: Cedarstorm and Cardinalblaze go out hunting. Cedarstorm is very worried there will not be enough prey during leafbare with all the kits in the nursery! The two warriors used carrion filled with maggots to bait a hawk at the carrion place!


1/2/18: It’s FREEZING! The clan is huddled up in their dens as much as they can be. Cats are only leaving camp to hunt and refresh the borders before they hurry back into their nests to get warm. Shortcloud has fallen ill!

1/3/18: Mouseclaw visits Spiderfang in the nursery, the queen admits she does not feel right and thinks something is wrong with the kits. Mouseclaw promises to ask Snowdance or Opalmist to come check on her later. Oceanstorm, Talltalon and Swiftstep go out to check the borders, Swiftstep starts a snow fight to try and lighten the mood. Ribbondance joins Oakstalk on a hunt.

1/4/18: Cliffheart is awake! The killing wound on his neck has been mysteriously healed! The clan is shocked but rejoices in the return of their warrior. Northstar calls a meeting, explaining that the dark forest had targeted Cliffheart’s kits: Eaglesight, Songbreeze, Hiddendream and Smokestorm demanding payment for crimes against them. Cliffheart gave his life to save his kits from torment. Northstar, Eaglesight, Songbreeze, Hiddendream, Smokestorm, Lionscorch, Goldberry, and Hollowpaw went to the dark forest and saved him. Northstar gave up one of her lives in exchange for Cliffheart’s.


1/4/18: Thistlepaw, Hollowpaw, Ferretpaw, Poppypaw and Frogpaw have earned their warrior names! From now on they will be known as Thistlestalk, Hollowpool, Ferretclaw, Poppyflame, and Frogleap.

1/5/18: Russetshade started kitting but Snowdance was out of camp! Flintclaw hurries to Northstar for help while Spiderfang tries to coach Russetshade through. Together Northstar and Spiderfang help deliver the kits! Shadowclan welcomes Rowankit and Strikekit.

1/6/18: Swiftstep reports to Talltalon that Sweetcloud is missing. Talltalon and Swiftstep report the news to Falcontalon, Swiftstep states he followed her scent trail to the great oak where it ended, but he smelled blood. Falcontalon leads Talltalon, Swiftstep, Cherryvine, Honeyleap, and Cardinalblaze out to look for the lost warrior. Honeyleap is acting very suspiciously and bolts from the patrol when blood is found on the Great Oak. Talltalon chased after him while the rest of the patrol kept searching. Cardinalblaze starts digging at the base of the oak, finding Sweetcloud’s body in a shallow grave. Falcontalon sends Cherryvine and Swiftstep back to camp to get Northstar, while Talltalon has Honeyleap pinned down. Falcontalon and Cardinalblaze take Sweetcloud’s body back to camp. Talltalon leads Honeyleap back to camp as a prisoner. Falcontalon announces that Honeyleap will be guarded by Poppyflame, Mouseclaw and Stonesong while Northstar makes a decision. Until then, a vigil will be held for Sweetcloud. (page 324-327)


1/7/18: Falcontalon reports the news of Honeyleap’s betrayal to Northstar. Cherryvine finds comfort in talking to Stormfury. Goldberry and Flintclaw stand guard outside the nursery. Falcontalon comforts Cardinalblaze as Mouseclaw, Poppyflame and Stonesong lead Honeyleap to face Northstar in the middle of camp. The clan goes into an uproar with many warriors yelling insults at their clanmates for his crimes. Northstar banishes Honeyleap, asking Stormcloud, Stormfury, Talltalon, and Falcontalon to escort him from Shadowclan territory. Once halfway through the territory, Honeyleap lashes out and attacks Falcontalon! The patrol fights back and chases him out of the territory, but Falcontalon’s shoulder is badly injured from the attack.(p. 332)

1/8/18: Spiderfang begins kitting, but there’s a lot of blood and Spiderfang tells Snowdance that something does not feel right! Mouseclaw frets at his mate’s side trying to help her through the pain while Snowdance does she can. Starrylight and Russetshade move their kits from the nursery to give them more space, keeping their kits warm in the elder’s den. Spiderfang delivers four kits! Unfortunately Eveningkit is stillborn and Solarkit did not make it through her first night. Spottedkit and Rustlekit are weak but are fighting to survive!

1/8/18: Clan life: Cherryvine and Cedarstorm go hunting, Cedarstorm tells Cherryvine she should be careful about getting too close to Stormfury, worried that he tom will end up back in Windclan. Swiftstep, Pinefeather, and Talltalon go out hunting as well. Roseleaf visits Falcontalon in the medicine cat den after his injury, Falcontalon tells her not to worry too much as it’s bad for their kits. Mouseclaw leaves camp to bury Eveningkit alone. Closesky tells Duskkit, Palekit, and Whorlkit stories. Cherryvine makes Stormfury try a lizard for the first time. Rowankit and Strikekit play fight. Ribbondance and Oakstalk share prey.

1/9/18: Opalmist inspects Falcontalon’s wound. The medicine cat is concerned it is not healing properly.
