IntroductionHi there! I'm Gumball Watterson and I made this thread called Creation to Death. It's not a story or poem, this a thread that will assist you in all of character creating, developing, and killing off. However, that is not all. I will be posting things like how to expand your vocabulary, word replacement, getting to know your character, and anything you can imagine. I will not be posting all of it right away of course, I will continue to make this a better source for your characters and roleplays any chance I get. I am a pretty organized person who my friends call a perfectionist. Some however say I'm OCD (or CDO because it's alphabetized). I'm not sure what I am, but I organized all of this information from A-Z order excluding a few things. I hope this made it easier for you and does not turn out to be an inconvenience since I will be posting what is under each category in the table of contents. Hopefully I'm not forgetting anything...and if I am I suppose I'll just edit this. Feel free to chat and talk with me once I open this up. Thanks! Your whatever-you-want-to-label-me-as, Gumball T Watterson Oh! P.S., I put everything with a spoiler tag because this would be a very long main post without them

Rules
1. Follow all forum rules and regulations: This is a given, so hopefully I shouldn't have to reiterate them
2. No bullying, flaming, bashing, or harassing: I want this to be a place where we can all get along and talk about our stories, characters, and roleplay experiences. With of course, random chatting about our days and such. So please, let's avoid sensitive topics. If you are unsure if it is a sensitive topic or not, don't post it. I don't want my thread deleted.
3. No stealing: This means my thread, other's ideas, or anything else really. It's not okay.
4. No judging or harsh criticism: Some people are afraid to share their ideas because they think others will judge or hurt their feelings. I don't mind if you give suggestions or something similar, but don’t over do it. Watch your wording so something does not come off the wrong way.
5. Watch for Updates: I will be putting updates on the table of contents (i.e. Rules {rule number 3 updated!})
6. Enjoy!: Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Concerns? Please me know!

"A"WIP "B"Body Language Cheat SheetAnger Anger is one expression of a flight or fight mode - an instinctive, automatic reaction to a threat. In many cases, there is a underlying fear of being harmed. Thanks to automatic nervous system arousal, heart rate increases, pupils dilate, and the face may flush. Other sign of anger include:
•Balling the fists •Crossing the arms tightly •Clenching he fists once arms are crossed •Tight-lipped smile •Clenched teeth •Shaking a finger •Stabbing a finger at someone
Attraction
•Pupils dilate •Women will cross and uncross their legs to draw attention to them •Mirroring - (usually unconsciously) mimicking other people's body language
Closed to Conversation
•Keeping hands in pockets (esp. Men) •Arms and legs crossed •Sitting back •Folding hands together on the table (creates a barrier) •The "four-figure" leg cross (setting the ankle of one leg on the knee of the other) and then grabbing the lower half of the top leg with both hands
Openness and Honesty
•Palms exposed •Arms and legs unfolded •Leaning forward
Submissive Signals
•Smiling - this is why some people smile when they are nervous or afraid •Slumping the shoulders •Doing anything to appear smaller
Distress
•Men in particular have a tendency to stroke or rub the nape of their neck when their upset. It acts as a self soothing gesture •Crossed arms - crossed arms act like a protective barrier •Self-hugging - arms are crossed, hands gripping upper arms •One-arm cross - one arm crosses the body to hold or touch the other arm - women keep a hand on their purse or bag strap to make this look more natural •Clutching a purse, briefcase, or bag with both hands •Adjusting cuffs or cuff links
Lying Causes a subtle tingling in the face or neck, so the gestures below are attempts to eliminate the feeling
•Covering the mouth - can be like a 'shh' gesture, or they may cover the mouth completely - some people try to cover it by coughing •Touching or rubbing the nose or below the nose - just a small, quick gesture. Not a scratch •Rubbing the eyes (mainly in men) •Scratching the neck with the index finger
Superiority, Confidence, Power, Dominance
•Steepling fingers •Thumbs sticking out from pockets •Hands on hips •Straddling a chair •Hands folded behind the head while sitting up "C"Commonly Misunderstood Words

Enormity - monstrous evil, excessive wickedness, outrageousness
Nonplussed - bewildered, extremely puzzling, at a loss
Bemused - to be bewildered, confused, engrossed in thought
Redundant - Beyond what is necessary or natural, needlessly wordy or repetitive
Plethora - Superabundance, excess
Unique - the only one of it's kind, unparallel

I will be organizing this so you have the positive trait above the negative one. Therefore, if you are trying to make Characters you can extend the portion where it talks about personalities. Plus, with more options, you can prevent them from becoming a Mary Sue (perfect) or Gary Stue (straight up evil)
[ ] Confident [ ] Timid ---- [ ] Leader, takes initiative [ ] follower ---- [ ] Assertive, Dominant [ ] Passive, Submissive ---- [ ] Independent [ ] Relies on others ---- [ ] Logical, thinks before acting [ ] Swayed by emotion, acts before thinking ---- [ ] Mature, wise, cautious [ ] Immature, foolish ---- [ ] Decisive [ ] In decisive ---- [ ] Opinionated, able to take a stand [ ] Ambiguous, Apathetic ---- [ ] Willing to endure, competent, strong willed [ ] Incompetent, weak willed ---- [ ] Challenges self, disciplined [ ] undisciplined, does not challenge self ---- [ ] Ambitious [ ] Goalless ---- [ ] Desire for accomplishment [ ] no desire ---- [ ] Desire for self satisfaction, pride in themselves [ ] Desires to only please others or too prideful ---- [ ] Individualistic, wants to be different [ ] seeks to follow trends ---- [ ] Sense of morals [ ] little sense of morals, sadistic ---- WIP "U"Using Adjectives in the Right Order
Adjectives in the English order must be in this order:
Opinion - size - age - shape - color - origin - material - purpose and then the noun.
For example:
Lovely little old rectangular green French iron whittling knife.
If you were to use them in any other order not only would it be grammatically incorrect but it would sound very odd as well.
