I know some people find it offering when we give characters a nickname, like how people call Dovewing Dovewing, or Ivypool Ivyfool.
But in all honestly I really don't care even if people insult Dovewing. Yes, she's my favorite, but they're fictional cats - I really don't care if people give her nicknames or not.
I just don't really understand why people get offended with this. Fictional cats don't really have feelings.
That's just probably how I feel, though. I mean these are fictional cats that don't even exist, it's not like they're insulting the person themselves who likes the character.

If people seriously get offended over fictional people being called names then they need to get off the internet, or go back to tumblr. Lol.

Eh. It's not even that big of a deal.
Personally speaking, I like to refer to Lionblaze and Dovewing as "Lameblaze" and "Dumbwing", sometimes "Dungwing", so it would be very hypocritical of me to get offended if someone negatively nicknamed a character I like.

I think it can be a bit childish if the nickname is degrading, but it doesn't really offend me…
