The date of the job came faster then expected, it felt like yesterday Remus was just standing in the lobby waiting for the letter to arrive. Now he stood just a couple yards from the palace gates with a few horses ( um...gifts from some certain officers ) with Will and Morgan. Buckingham palace looked the same as it always did, clean and fancy, the perfect image for the ruling Queen of Britain. And surrounded by pretty little foot soldiers for the queen....lovely. Yes this was a lovely situation. Remus reached up to fix the collar around his neck, the rough fabric digging into his skin was unpleasant to say the least. Hell, this whole thing felt unpleasant, dangerous and just plain stupid. All three of them were dressed in bright red jackets with gold buttons leading up the middle, a white belt fastened around their waists with a saber in the sheath. Their black pants were near spotless and their boots were shined so much that any man could probably see their reflection in the leather. But the uniform wasn't really the most uncomfortable thing....no it was the hair. Slicked back from his face and combed to the side like some rich Lord would. Remus was use to combed back hair...but it was usually straight back from his forehead not off to the side like some boy. And the product needed to get it that way...it was horrendous.
"Alright..." Remus sighed, his eyes pinned on the gates in the distance while also keeping the reigns of his horse tight in his hand. It was the only thing keeping him from ripping this darn thing off. "As a recap" He began, turning to the other two men.
As a side note, Remus couldn't be happier that the uniforms seemed to fit the other two men just fine. Maybe a bit loose on Will but with enough layers it seemed like it was just right on his body. These uniforms were a tad big, they were tailored for a heavy artillery unit meant to pack lots of weapons and muscle, sadly these uniforms never even made it to the soldiers. With just enough hair product, and straightened shoulders it seemed like they were honestly in the military guard. Funny, considering none of them would even consider stepping foot inside the palace willingly. "Once we get to the gates, I want you both to follow my lead until we are inside. There we should meet with Lieutenant Bracer from one of the Queens regiments coming to meet us about letters sent from the Captain. Act as if you are both in the army, answer with 'Sir' and act like you hold a lot of respect for them" He began, going over the plan once more to make sure they got it. Sure he told them on the way here, the night before and the night before but it was best to go over it just one last time. Who knows how this will actually work out.
"Once we re inside the office, Will that's your time to distract the Lieutenant. Talk about anything that comes to mind, marriage, kids, lovers, medals or battles he's fought in. Me and Morgan will work on getting the letters while also snatching the documents...if anything is to happen and I mean anything...then we do it in extreme caution" Remus felt a chill run up his arm at the thought.
If something were to happen, his plan B would surely come into affect. They would have to close off the Lieutenant quickly, most likely that will be up to Morgan since he has the sharpest reflects in the group. Knock out the Lieutenant, not harm him. The last thing they needed was a dead officer on their heads, which would rain down the wrath of the army on the underground. Then make a bee line to the nearest exit and hopefully get far enough away to dump the uniforms and make a quick exit toward the La Selina. Make sure they weren't being followed as well, didn't need to be jumped while running. "Everything has to go right...if even the slightest hair goes out of shape here we could be looking at the whole Queen's Regiment on our tails. And I mean all of us" He pushed the word all especially. If they were caught, so were the rest of the Black Ravens. Eliza, Sybil, Benny...Lenore. Knowing Dante, he would split before anything touched him, probably to the Caribbean. But Remus would be damned if anything were to happen to the rest. "Should be rather easy as long as we focus on our main goal...and if you need to spit some random story out about how you fought in whatever battle. They drink that up" Remus added, looking up as the gates of the palace began to swing open for some carriage rolling in.
"Shall we?" He said, trying for a smug smirk, fastening on the helmet they had ( Thank god it wasn't too heinous ) and swung himself up to mount his horse. Deep breathe Remus...this will work out fine. It's a great plan...your great.
Why thank you Remus. You're welcome Remus. Dear god he's gone insane...but then again when was he ever sane to begin with. He pressed his heels into the horse to urge it forward ( I don't know anything about how horses work so forgive me ;v; ) into the open and not standing off to the side like the shady criminals they were. Remus could make out the specs of the other red coats at the gates, some guards looming around the other side as well...it seemed they upped the security here...figures. Things were always difficult. Remus lowered his eyes slightly when they were close enough for the guards to spot them. One such guard moved forward slightly, Remus could almost see the furrow on his brow...the man had some seriously thick eyebrows that is. Act like one...act like a really snobby lad He thought to himself, straightening his back slightly. "Oi..." The guard lifted his hand slightly, a gesture for them to stop before coming forward. Remus pulled back on the reigns, making sure his horse was aligned with the others. They were all of the same rank, all just common soldiers that were picked at random. At least that's what their cover story was.
Remus kept himself in-line with the others, glancing toward the other two as some of the guards came to meet them where they stood. Alright, nothing to worry about. Nothing to worry about at all. They all just needed to act like equals, none of them were the boss here and Remus had given the other two his full trust to act as natural as possible. Speak when they needed to, act like they should. "You three the one's sent from the 54th?" Bushy brows asked, his look lingering over each of their faces like he was trying to either commit them to memory or trying to place them. "Yes sir..." Remus answered, watching the guard linger over more so towards Morgan and Will then him.
"Under the Command of the Captain?" He asked, his look traveling more so to Will and Morgan. "For a simple...pick up?"
Of course they would be bugging them with this. They were noisy little brats...probably stalling until the Lieutenant got the nerve to drag his sorry arse out of bed and get down to the gates. Remus didn't expect them to let them in right away anyway....
Unlike a certain group of gals of course...attending a certain Queen's little tea party.
The Queen usually held small little tea parties, hushed and kept under wraps only known through private invitations. Was it shocking that some just happened to fall into the girls grasp? No. Because unlike the boys, they had brains to which they knew how to properly use.

[ what more is you looking for under the seaaa
/hides in bag/ man i hope you have fun, Bee - you deserve a break and some relaxing time from all the stress x~x
it’s growing every single day like oh no. too many things to watch + read. someone help oh ja ja i totally get it. it was quite a long time ago, after all, so it’s just that much harder to find thank you again xvx i just haven’t been getting a lot of sleep… i woke up today around 2:30pm cause we have lunar break over here but i still feel tired whut is life anymore ]
“Well, well.” A man’s voice said, smooth and light-hearted. “It seems like you struggle quite a bit without me around, Lenore. Or is this where you’ll finally be telling me of your long-awaited return?”
He was a lean and startling young man with dark, dark brown eyes that were almost similar to those of Lenore’s, with thick brown curls that hung over his nonchalant eyes, though there was something about them that seemed… darker. More clouded. More… well, how would you put it? They belonged to a man chained to the underground society. A thief of many, many lives. There was no sickening air to him, however, though his laid-back demeanour indicated a much more threatening shadow underneath. Most people who saw him would probably regard him as a pleasant and charming young thing, though.
“Not at all,” the calm answer came back from Lenore who leaned to the side with her arms crossed her her chest, the slight curve of her lips not unkind, but not a representation of benevolence, either. “Have you gotten what I’ve asked?”
Dramatically waving his hand to the side, the man tipped his head a little to the side and smiled quite whimsically. “Who do you think you’re talking to?” He was standing closely to the shadows that were formed from the result of the tall buildings surrounding them, not quite minding the slight droplets of rain that fell. He then looked around for a while before he spoke, his eyes flickering with curiosity. “Hm? I heard that you were close acquaintances with Sybil Rye and the other mysterious girl you picked up on that day…. where is she? I know of Miss Rye, but I heard that she’s quite fair as well.”
Rolling her eyes a little, Lenore exhaled. “I don’t have that much time, Raoul.”
Shrugging his shoulders casually, Raoul only tipped his head to the side. “You still don’t have that much humour to you, do you.” The smile returned to his face as he rested his hand on his waist. “All right, then. You give me what I want, Lenore, and I’ll give you what you want. Simple as that.”
~
“…And as for the Crestles… well, as for them, they’re holding off doing anything too reckless. Though…” He’d smiled with his eyes glimmering with a light she was too familiar with from the lean mercenary. “Outside may be a different story. They’ll be waiting for the three Ravens to step outside with the documents in their hands before they strike. They’re planning to intercept those three Ravens on their way back when they’re most vulnerable. Ah, just as a little reminder… they’re sending Wolfgang this time around. You know what that means, right?”
“The Crestles are getting impatient,” answered Lenore whose smile had tightened a little.
“If I were you… I wouldn’t go on this mission,” said Raoul, who pushed locks of his soggy brown hair away from his eyes as he kept the casual, but slightly sharper smile on his lips. “You’ll die, you know.” There was a moment of silence, and he tipped his head to the side at Lenore. “What do you plan to do in that condition of yours? And what of Miss Rye? What of that girl?”
“I have people who are going there tonight, and I need to see that they return.”
“Oh?”
“…Those two do, too.”
“Hm,” hummed the man before falling silent. “Tell you what. How about we make another deal, Lenore?”
“What do you mean?”
“Exactly as it sounds, love.” Brushing down his coat, he smiled. “Another deal. We’ll help you with this case - we’ll serve as your support. There’s no chance of defeating three other waiting gangs -with only the three of you, Lenore. You know that much. I could convince a few of my companions, I’m sure. A little bit of bribing will do for them. Lord Irving is very… lenient and forgiving. As long as results work in his favour and we get a little bit of benefit out of a deal, he’ll be willing to agree. Especially since he knows you.” He gestured lightly to what he was saying in her direction his hand. “What do you say?”
The dark eyes of Lenore narrowed. “I’ll think about it.”
~
It wasn’t the most comfortable attire, but it was still something. She’d taken particular care to not tighten the dress around herself. “Remember, keep yourselves low and be respectful,” she murmured to the other two who were with her. “The last thing we need is to be caught.” That would simply be a nightmare - they were strong, but there was no way they would be able to deal with both guards and any other of the gangs. Wolfgang, Raoul had said. The very name had sent a small wave of ice down her spine. He was possibly one of the most violent and feared elites of the Crestles - and if Wolfgang was here, that meant that there would be two others with him for certain, waiting for the right moment to intercept and kill. That was never a good sign.
They weren’t the only ones here, either. There was still the Purple Dragons and the Rockshires to worry about. They were all after the same thing tonight, once again, and only one of them would get it.
If they weren’t careful tonight, they would see blood.
-
There were no thoughts that passed through Morgan’s head. Or rather, he refused to let them. Any thoughts now, and he was certain he’d do something wrong or miss a cue of some sort. He gently petted the horse he was on a few times - had he mentioned before that he had a very, very strong love for animals? - as he watched the looming palace in front of themselves. He shook his head a little at the strange feeling of his hair - he was used to letting it down, but it was slicked to the side, similar to that of Remus’, and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to… well, he’d just leave it there.
He listened as Remus started to recap their plan… again. It had been the hundredth time or so since he’d spoken of it, though Morgan wasn’t exactly irritated or annoyed by it. He could tell that Remus was anxious to some extent - heavens if the Remus Hawkins was repeating a plan this many times then he was bound to be stressed - and though it made him a little uneasy to be reminded so many times of just how dangerous the mission was, he kept his expression collected. For some reason, there was another side of himself that was completely lax, unworried. Possibly because the reality of the situation hadn’t quite settled in his head quite just yet.
He offered a small tug of his lips. “It’ll work out somehow, Remus. We’ll be fine.” Worrying won’t get us anywhere. He stopped his horse from moving forward when the guard with the thick eyebrows raised a hand, signalling for them to halt. The usual warmth from his face fell, as did the comforting air that usually lingered around himself. His expression remained stoic, and his dark, molten eyes flickered over to meet those of the other guard. Without the obvious kindness displayed his gentle face and the abundant benevolence changed into a collected calm, he looked… well, he looked different. He looked much colder and his eyes, though they weren’t unkind, were distant. Just like the other soldiers, though there was a slightly different atmosphere to him that couldn't quite be placed. He was much more guarded. “Yes, sir.” His calm voice indicated respectful submission to this guard, and his eyes remained clear and steady. “Though I wouldn’t use the word simple very lightly, sir, especially when this matter revolves around the Lieutenant.”

Sybil didn't know what was more uncomfortable. Being stuck in this stupid dress or having this much makeup caked on her face.
How they got into the palace was easy, apparently as long as you show the right invitation and say the right words you can get in anywhere. How Lenore got them in was beyond Sybil's mind, but she wasn't really complaining as they made their way toward the Queens garden. "Right, act like a bunch of preppy spoiled ladies" Sybil grumbled, her hands clasped in front of her with some stupid fan they gave her in one hand. Why did they need this? It wasn't even that hot outside. She fidgeted in the outfit, letting out a long sigh as she glanced around. Other Lady's were here too, with their daughters or nieces. Lords were helping their wives sit down at chairs that were scattered around, all of them dressed in some stuffy outfit. Sybil mentally cringed, but kept her face as natural as she could keep it.
Of course her face felt like it was...it felt like she was wearing a mask over her face filled with honey. It felt sticky, unnatural on her skin. Sure she wore some make-up to cover some of her freckles but her whole face was covered. All her freckles were hidden behind some sort of powder and her eyes had some sort of stuff on it. She had no idea, Pepper had helped her with her makeup for this. She had no idea they were going on a job to protect the boys butts though, she had just told Pepper it was for a night out with some of the other girls. Luckily Pepper is a stupid enough girl to believe it, she was nice though...just stupid. So she had made sure Sybil looked 'presentable' for a night out and even went ahead to do her hair. Sybil's hair was curled around her face, a single hair clip was placed in her hair to keep the curls in place away from her face. As if her hair wasn't curly enough.
Her question though was how on earth were they going to keep watch for the Dragons and Shires and Crestles when they were stuck here with the puffy frew frew bunch. She brushed her hands down the front of her dress, a short sleeve dress that buttoned up to her neck, the cloth was a soft blue shade. Her eyes went around the little garden party, staying close to Eliza and Lenore as they walked having yet again to get use to the shoes wedged on her feet. "So...what now?" She whispered. They were in the party...they were inside but what was there to do? Sybil had a knife strapped to her leg but with nothing to stab. She didn't any Rocks...or Dragons. Hell as if the Crestles could get in here. "Do we just...wait?" She grumbled, shedding a few smiles here and there for those who made eye contact with her and smiled. Oh boy she hated this. Her eyes trailed around once more, trying to pick out anyone that looked like they could be in a gang...to be honest the Dragons could easily get into this party. Lu Tang had his own connections to the court of the Queen, that and he was just someone well known int he shipping community. The Dragons were in charge of the best port in London so it would only make sense for him to come.
Sybil honestly wanted to just go over to the food table and eat, or go find somewhere to brood for a minute before making nice with some kind of Lord. No. To be honest she rather go to the food table more. It was just so different from the La Selina. People weren't gambling and being loud, there wasn't a card table with people seated around it or a poker table that had a game going on it. People weren't drinking away their problems at the bar or unloading their life story to Bethany or Fred. The people here were sitting around a table...drinking tea and eating biscuits or tiny sandwiches. They were politely laughing...not loud but just enough to be heard by the other table. Some were gossiping their mouth off like it was the last thing they were going to hear. It just seemed so...odd. The men though she had to admit, she liked the sharpness of their suits and their slicked hair...but she had a deeper liking for a different kind of man. Besides these men seemed like sissy's, no way was she gonna be caught with them. Not in a million years.
Sybil jumped at the sudden cackling of some old women, not the Queen but some hag that was with a bunch of younger folks. Her heart if it could leap into her throat but she was sure it was suck in her chest where the corset had locked around her waist. "They better hurry up..." She whispered to herself, her eyes going to the sky like she was going to send a little prayer.
-
Remus watched as the guard raise a brow to Morgan before his eyes slid to William. "Right...it should be a simple pick up though...it's odd we get any of you from the field to come here to just get some lett-"
"Reggie please, tone back the bitterness will you?"
Remus's eyes looked up when he heard the gates open with a soft screech of protest, and the sound of boots clipping against the ground. "These men are here from Captain Hawkin's to fetch some letters not to be interrogated by you" The man speaking stared down the bushy brow man until said guard snapped back into attention. Those blue eyes weren't as icy as Remus's were, but dark like an angry storm on the ocean. The man fixed that gaze onto the three of them, dirty blonde hair slicked back from his face and clean shaven around the jaw. "You boys are early though...I expected you to come in 2 days...must have rode over night to meet" He murmured. To meet him? Of course...telling from the black jacket that was vastly different then the red coats around him he should have guessed. The crown and star pin to his tight collar and the few medals on his chest. "We were already on our way back to pick up some supplies...thus why the Captain sent up" Remus pipped in, his eyes clashing with the Lieutenants for a minute before breaking.
"Right...that makes sense. Well come on now. The boys can handle your horses" The man snapped his fingers twice, two guards coming forward to take the reigns from the three disguised Ravens while they climbed down from their mounts. "We're going to be taking a shortcut to his office, there is a little party going on. Best we don't intrude with work" Lieutenant Baker waved his hand for the three to follow him, staying ahead of them like a true ranking officer did. Remus could do nothing but follow after him, tossing a glance toward William and Morgan. So far so good he supposed. Of course...there was always the chance they could run into the Captain and end up having a little awkward encounter.

《 Did sOMEONE SAY PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN?!?! This is the day you will always remember as the day you ALMOST caught Captain Jack Sparrow.
Writin' a somethin' up right now.
But actually. POTC is my life.
And the fact that two main characters are Will and Elizabeth is completely a coincidence on the naming part. Consciously, anyway. 》

《 Also I’ve seen the Lion King so many times I could practically quote the whole movie but I love it Introducing more things. Because drama and I felt like there needed to be some actually existing Rocks out there. They aren't all sexist pigs and schmoozers. Only most of them 》
Eliza had begun to forget how it felt to wear a proper corset. It wasn't as if she paraded around half-dressed among the Ravens, but she hadn't dressed up so entirely since the fateful night of Lady Rebecca’s party . Today's event called only for day dresses, at least, but it wasn't as if any old day dress would do. She wore the most elegant of the dresses the Ravens had provided her, a pale, summery green thing. But it was hardly just the dress, now was it? First one needed the proper undergarments; stockings and other things of decency. Then the corset, tight around the waist (though she'd made sure she could still move and breathe in it) and - the latest trend in fashion, which of course had to be followed in a party such as this one - the crinoline. Over that was a camisole and then a chemise and petticoats and on and on and on until finally one reached the dress itself, and even then there were still accessories - all borrowed from various Ravens. How anyone could take so long every day to get dressed as Eliza had that morning would drive any reasonable woman mad.
And this tea party… Eliza had a great respect for Queen Victoria. She was an admirable woman, in her mind. Which was why she wondered why she would hold such a frivolous event. And routinely? The room was full of vapid ladies and men… well, she didn't mind the men so much. Even if she had no time for romance at the moment, or at any moment in the foreseeable future. That didn't mean they weren't nice to look at. Combed hair and fine suits… These were the men she had once been destined to marry. Actually, everyone around her - these were the people she'd been born to acquaint herself with. Now she was as much a street rat as any kid washed up in the Underground. They'd turn their noses if they knew where she spent her nights. It was a good thing her taste in men had grown around character rather than the size of their wallets.
Eliza nodded at Lenore’s words. “Of course.” She replied with a faint smile. She knew to be vigilant as much as any of them - the knives artfully tucked away said as much. They were not here to enjoy the party, although they had to seem as if they were. Perhaps, at least, they could take advantage of the need to socialize - it would give them a good platform to search for the other gangs. She glanced at Lenore. “Perhaps if we split up? But remain in sight of each other, in case something goes awry?”
--
The Ravens were not the only gang who had made it to the Queen’s tea party.
The Rockshires’ had crowned a new Prince in the weeks since William Gansey had made his departure, and this was in a sense his coronation. Nathaniel Schuyler had been sent to prove himself worthy, the Rockshire Princess at his side - although that title gave Drusilla Beake as little power as it did pride. Beake’s daughter held no power within his own gang, and he tossed her around as more of a prop than anything - he was already egging at Nat to marry her, so that another generation of Beakes could grow up to inherit the gang one day. He'd desired the same of Will, when he'd been in that position, but neither of the boys were particularly interested in her hand - Will because he respected her as a friend, and not something to be handed off in marriage against her own will, and Nat because he wasn't too keen on the idea of marriage at all. The third in his party was Finch, who he'd been reluctant to select given his past friendship with Gansey, but the fact was that there weren't a great many Rocks who were gentlemanly enough for an event like this one - he himself, looked very dapper is his silvery gray suit, chocolate brown hair neatly combed. Too many of his comrades would've already been drooling over women or something stupid.
Nat couldn't care less about the women; he had a job to do, and he valued practicality far more than Gansey ever had. That narcissistic, arrogant fool with that awful flirtatious smile - he hated William Gansey.
His dark eyes caught a splash of blue just then - a tiny blonde, hair curled up all finely. Hardly a wisp of a thing, probably only a couple years younger than he was, but small. Why did she look so familiar? He squinted, trying to put a name to that face. “Dru, does that girl over there look familiar?” He asked the ever bored-looking girl at his side.
Without a second of hesitation, she replied. “Of course. That's the Raven from the brawl.”
Nat started. “Why on Earth didn't you say so?!”
Drusilla gave a non-committal shrug. “You didn't ask until just now.” Drusilla also neglected to mention the other two Ravens she'd spied while her companion had been contemplating revenge on his enemies. It was important to note that Drusilla Beake was anything but stupid - in fact, she was a wonderfully perceptive young lady - but she had grown up within a group of men who very rarely seemed to notice this fact. Her own attentions had long been captured by one of the rare such individuals who had, and also happened to be along on this mission. This individual did not happen to be Nathaniel Schuyler.
Nat muttered something under his breath about the state of his companions - or perhaps a curse in Gansey’s name - as he strode off in the direction of the food table - in search of refreshments, anyone might assume. Instead he took a turn in the other direction, heading for a particular little blonde. As he approached, his persona shifted entirely - not unlike but also entirely like the persona often adopted by a certain Green-Eyed-Boy-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, for Nathaniel Schuyler was the epitome of polite. He cleared his throat. “Pardon me, Miss, but…” He trailed off, then smiled slightly sheepishly. “Oh dear, I really have no excuses, do I? I was just wondering.. I don't believe we've met?” He smiled down at the blonde girl, studying the Raven girl's face.
So this was the one he'd seen Will agonizing over at the brawl. Interesting.
--
Meanwhile, a certain green-eyed boy who was actually named Will was having a grand old time, except for the fact that he was about to do one of the most dangerous things he could imagine. Actually, that was a lie; Will had a very vivid imagination, and he could imagine a great many things more dangerous than infiltrating the Queen of England's Royal Guard. Taunting a dragon, for example, or attempting to flirt with Sybil Rye. But it wasn't a lie that he was having a good time for two very important reasons. First of all, he really did love horses - any animals, really - and the mare that he'd… acquired was truly lovely. All it had taken was an apple snuck from the kitchen and some scratches behind the ears to win her over - and Will's heart had been sold as well. He'd be sad when he'd have to let the chestnut mare go. The second reason was of course that he knew he looked rather fetching in uniform.
He straightened at the sound of the lieutenant’s voice. He did know how a guard was to behave after all - he'd seen plenty in his lifetime, and been shot at by enough as well. At the lieutenant’s instruction, he reluctantly dismounted from the horse's back and handed her off to one of the waiting stablehands - but not before he bid her a quick and subtle goodbye. Then he followed as they made their way to the office, where the documents would be. He wondered a bit about the party that was supposedly going on, but didn't dwell too much on it.
After all, things seemed to be going well so far.

There the man sat, with his hands folded in front of himself and his gray eyes narrowed. Those who stood in their way never lived to tell the tale, and yet, there were mice scattered around who had somehow slipped through their grasp. Quite a few times now, actually. The crows had more tricks up their sleeves than he’d imagined. Remus Hawkins, the man imagined. Of course it had to be him. And what was it about this new girl? The one Morgan had been so concerned of, at that, too. He’d seen the young individual’s amber eyes change the moment chaos had wrecked. The snap of his expression. Wasn’t it strange that someone as ‘kind’ and ‘gentle' as him would survive such destruction with only a small cut to the head when those strong barely escaped with a gun wound or a knife to the side? Had no one ever thought of why he’d moved up the ranks so quickly? He’d been raised underneath different hands. He didn’t belong with the Ravens. Raising his head, the man regarded the silhouettes in front of himself, who remained still, as if they weren’t breathing.
There, in front of him, stood a thin young man with haunting black eyes and dark half-moons underneath his eyes. He was deathly pale - almost sickeningly pale with short black hair. There was nothing in his eyes. Nothing was hidden or unrevealed. His eyes were simply dead, like they belonged to a fish caught out of water. The air that encircled him was quiet and deathly still, as if whatever he touched would have their life drained out of them. He looked like he was around Morgan’s age, except for the fact that while something about Morgan emitted warmth, this man reflected nothing.
Next to this youth was a short man with vibrant blue eyes with tousled dark brown hair that looked black when he was in the shadows. He was lean and surprisingly muscular underneath his clothing. He wore a hat with a dark coat, and his sharp eyes were narrowed a little as he eyed the man behind the desk. Everything about him was quite debonair.
The last individual in the room was a woman. She was tall, incredibly tall, with a fair complexion. She wore a long robe that was draped around her shoulders and fell on the floor in a river of red. There was the smallest tug of a smile that lifted her lips, and her eyes, which were dark molten, were like orbs of fire.
Wolfgang.
James.
Margaret.
The man behind the desk and the gray eyes continued to regard the three in front of himself, who remained silent and still. Waving his hand dismissively, he leaned back in his seat. “I think that we’ve made a fine example of Gladys, haven’t we? Shall you fail, you may assume the same fate.”
Nothing dared to breathe as the figures ducked their heads a little and turned around, one by one, only to be stopped by the man’s voice.
“Ah, before you go, I have one more task for all of you.” He tapped the desk with his long and gloved fingers before his lips curled into a smile.
“Bring Morgan's new friend back here, will you? It doesn’t matter what method you use to persuade him. I think it’s time he stops playing family and returns where he belongs.”
-
Reluctantly, Morgan handed off his own reigns as well to the soldier who took it from him and turned to face the people who could possibly the last bunch of soldiers he’d ever see. He made sure to keep a respectful distance between himself and William and Remus, but still kept close enough so that in case of any problems, they would be able to act immediately together. The last thing they needed or wanted was to be separated and ambushed from all sides - by the lurking gang members and the soldiers who would no doubt try to murder them upon recognition.
His eyes, molten underneath the lights, sparked with a small amount of curiosity and wonder at the sight of the palace. Of course, he was accustomed to seeing such royalty - or rather he had been once, back when he’d still belonged in a different place. A much, much darker place than he was in right now. It still awed him to think that such a place could even be built, though, aside from where he’d grown up in. If she was lucky, Gladys would be able to see this very sight again. But he was certain that after her first mistake, she’d been…
His eyes widened a little when he realised about what he was thinking about. What kind of people he was remembering. He could still see the dark, blood-stained walls, feel the ice-tipped needle cold dig into his skin. The chatter of chains, the endless shadows that stretched on and on like a never-ending corridor. He could see a boy with molten amber eyes standing in front of a beaten and bruised man whose wrists were firmly chained. The boy’s eyes were glassed over, dead, unfazed by the tears of the crouched man, and his silver hair gleamed, sharper than any gilded armour he’d ever seen.
Execution.
Closing his eyes and drawing in a breath, he stopped himself from shaking his eyes and lowered his gaze a little. If Gladys wasn’t here today, that would mean that she had been trapped down there, in the execution cell where she’d be killed in the most horrific way possible. That man - he didn’t like wasting resources, particularly guns. No execution took a short amount of time and ended mercifully.
He caught Remus's eyes just before the much taller individual turned around at the soldier's voice, and followed behind.
Sighing to himself, he brushed aside the thoughts that clamoured in his head and walked forward. He could only hope that nothing went wrong.
-
“That makes sense,” Lenore had been about to say with a small smile of her own, though she was stopped when a man made his way over to Sybil. Oh, well, this is pleasantly wonderful. It wasn’t like she had been expecting no trouble, though to think that it would come this fast. The Crestles, she knew, unless they had other plans in mind, would be outside from Raoul's little leak of information. The Rockshires, however... Her eyes narrowed and she lightly rested her hand on her forehead. Now then... what to do? She remembered how Sybil had looked up at the ceiling as if to send a little prayer to someone, and found herself surprisingly agreeing with the gesture. Lenore wasn't religious. Far from it, actually, considering all of the things that she had realized at an early age. But this time... they had three separate enemy groups to deal with. And all of them were deadly in their own dirty ways.
The Purple Dragons would be here - she would be surprised if they weren't. After all, they did have the best port in London to wear as an emblem. They were the gang, from what she had observed, that seemed to have the most bad blood with Remus. Her eyes slipped over to the other guests, in search of any other alarming individuals. She didn't recognize any other face. Not yet, anyway.
Her focus shifted back to Sybil. In any normal circumstance, she would have let Sybil stay and figure something out - buy time with the other gang and hold him up. All three Rockshires were here in this very room, and a place like this would not allow a fight or any reckless movement. But Sybil was still wounded - any damage to the wrong side of her body and she would be down. At least, she would wear out much more quickly than she normally would. It wasn't pleasant to think about, and it wasn't something that she was willing to risk. Hopefully the other deal she had made with Raoul would take place soon, and he would keep his promise. As much as she didn't like to think about the past individuals she had spent her time with, they were more than capable of handling things if situations were to become hectic. It didn't settle with her too nicely to think that she was even depending on their strength and skills, though in a place like this, they would need the most help they could get. Hopefully, wherever they were now, hidden amongst the crowd or outside, they would be keeping a sharp eye out for her two companions.

"I am grateful you accepted my invitation Sir" Lu Tang said, climbing out of the carriage that had been parked just behind the palace and away from the front gates that would lead into the party room. Tang's two companions nodded, each one wearing a dark eggplant purple suit with a black ascot tied around their necks. Well Lu Tang was sporting a lighter shade of purple with a white tucked underneath his suit jacket and vest. No Tiao Shi for once, poor girl came down with a flu that needed to be remedied. Zhan Kian instead sent Cory Bask and Tao Minda along with Tang on this one, seeing as the other two carried just as much as a presence as Lu Tang did. But that wasn't the point of this little scene now was it? "It should be me thanking you Mr. Tang, I would never have gotten here as early as this if you haven't offered your assistance" The figure that Tang was speaking to said, climbing out after Lu Tang and dusting off his black pants. Lu Tang could only smile, meaning to be kind and grateful when really it was nothing but smug pride at his handy work.
Of course the Purple Dragons were invited to this party, they were always invited to these kind of events. So it was only a nice short cut for them when they got the next letter for the Games. But he felt the need to repay Remus Hawkins for the little stunt he pulled at the brawl. Chewing up two of his best fighters and even some of his men, not to mention elbowing Tang right in the jaw. Not really noticeable if you apply the right about of makeup, but still. He had to admit it was a clever, dirty trick the man pulled as expected. That was what Remus was all about, dirty tricks. So if Lu Tang knew Remus at all from his years at the Purple Dragon, then he knew exactly what stupid brash trick he was going to do. And so...Lu Tang had to do something equally as brash. He pulled some strings, made some calls...honestly it wasn't hard to find Remus's extended family at all. "Please, no need for thanks Captain Hawkins" Lu Tang said with a dip of his head to the older gentleman. "After what you do to protect our country and our Queen? It's nothing" Lu Tang eyed the man before him. It was almost looking at a mirror image of Remus himself...well sort of.
Hadrian Hawkins, Captain of the Queens 54th Regiment and older brother to Remus, Tiberius and Julius Hawkins. 29 years of age, a beautiful wife named Alexandra Hawkins with a newborn baby girl of his own named Alice. Tall, much taller then his brother Remus and had a much duller shade of red hair covering his head, sporting a nice close trimmed beard around his jaw line. Hazel eyes and bigger muscle structure then Remus...but he could see the scarlet haired Raven in him. It would be plain as day to tell the two are related if put side by side and examined. "Tell me Captain...what is it you need from here again?" Lu Tang asked casually while the carriage began to pull away and the group began to make it's way into the building. "Documents that were sent to me this morning. I get those and then head back to Cardiff in the next morning" He replied, his steps short and percise as he walked much like any other solider. His red coat was unlike the rest, a series of golden buttons and white ties across the chest with the collar being decorated in two star pines and a single crown to the right. The ranking of a Captain. "Ah! Yes of course...Is your family in Cardiff perhaps? I hear you work close to there" He asked once more, the other two Dragons tailing behind like a sort of protection barrier.
The captain glanced toward Lu Tang and smiled slightly, for some reason it seemed weird for Lu Tang to witness. "Yes, I was born there with my other 3 brothers and sister. My own Wife and daughter live there currently...it's easier that way considering what's been happening" His smile seemed to flatten thinking about his family. "3 brothers and a sister? Large family you got there"
"My father always wanted a large family" Hadrian let his smile spread once more, letting it fall into place as they entered Buckingham palace. They could hear the chatter of the party after a few turns in the hallways. "Yes...I heard you have 3 brothers yet...when I see the Hawkins at events I see only you and 2 others...what about the third?" Lu Tang pushed once more, this time the smile fell completely from Hadrians face before a frown took it's place. "He uh...He left. We don't hear much from him..." Nor do I want to. The last thing I want is to arrest my own brother... the thought flew through Hadrians mind, quickly changing the subject off of his own family. "Right! So here is the party gentlemen...I will have to cut through here to get to my office but I think this is goodbye. Good day Sir Tang." Hadrian turned to dip his head to Lu tang before heading into the area of which the rest of the gangs seemed to be currently staying. "Of course... Pleasure to meet you Captain" Tang said with another smile, watching the Captain begin to make his way toward the other exit. "Pleasure indeed..."
-
Sybil almost didn't respond to the man who approached her, having glanced over her shoulder like he was talking to someone else but just couldn't get around her. But after a moment of realization that he was indeed speaking to her she let her gray eyes travel up to meet this strangers. I didn't even get to mope around first... she thought sadly but nonetheless dipped her head in greeting to the man. "Um..." She tried, her eyes scanning the mans face as he did with hers, trying to figure out if she should know him. Should she? Be reminded that Sybil had paid no attention to faces during the brawl, in fact she had no idea who had been sitting next to Remus nor cared at the time. For all she wanted to do was punch Gladys in the face and then wipe the floor with the rest. Sad to say, she didn't and instead spent a good deal just laying in mud bleeding out. She did though, know who had tossed that flipping knife. And since she has yet to see him, she did not make the connection that this man was indeed a Rockshire. Either way, she wasn't going to just let her guard down so easily around him. "I'm sorry...I don't believe we have..." She said, trying to sound as polite as she could without sounding like a complete airhead in the process. She was tempted to just say Well nice job debunking that, bye but that would be...rude.
"I'm Sybil....sir..." She said, letting her last name just hang in the darkness of Sorry you got to level up first to get this area. Her hands clasped together in front of her, wondering if she should keep talking or...? She had no idea how Lady's and Lords talked at a party. She wasn't some expert, she was raised with a bunch of thieves and gamblers, not princesses and princes. A moment of silence came between them, so she shrugged her shoulders sheepishly and let her eyes dart downwards. "Sorry I ah...I don't do this often" She let out a small chuckle, no harm in telling the basic truth of the matter. She wasn't good at small talk, or fancy talk. Or any talk that didn't involve gambling, swearing, or just being herself with pants on. Was she going to be expected to keep talking to this guy or would she have to deliberately look out for Rockshires and Crestles or Dragons. She didn't see Gladys around...or any Rockshires. Hell, she didn't even know any Rockshires besides the one that stabbed her in the side. She was sure to return the favor and the knife. Considering the fact she doesn't collapse first if a fight were to break out. She knew herself that she wasn't fit to fully fight...but she could still aim properly.
"I mean...I don't usually go to these kind of events and...I'm babbling...I apologize" She added, figuring that maybe her useless blabber could get her somewhere other then having this weird guy come up to her and start talking. To be honest she had thought maybe the plainness of her attire and looks would make her go unseen and just let her drift around like a breeze. Maybe she have worn something darker...or maybe made her hair a bit less frilly and curly. Or maybe the beauty of Lenore and Eliza would make her seem dull. Maybe she had some kind of magnet that said HEY COME TALK TO ME on. Or some kind of Rockshire magnet. She nearly did turn around to call for Lenore and Eliza back. Tempting.
-
Perfect. Everything was fine so far. They circled around the party area, supposedly. He guessed the Queen enjoyed herself some company once and a while with some tea and crumpets. They barely spoke, and if they did speak Remus was sure to cut it off so no further small talk could be made. Business. They were here for business and that's it. "Well here we are..." Baker said, fishing out a key from his pocket ( These things came with pockets? ) and unlocked the door they had stopped at. Remus's heart was beating in his chest as he watched the soldier unlock the door and turn the bronze handle. When opened, Remus felt a little...light headed. He wasn't going to faint but...he could see the pile of documents on the oak desk. Along with a neat stack of papers and a quill sitting in it's ink well. Perfectly off to the side next to a picture frame containing a women dressed in a light pink day dress holding a baby wrapped in white blankets. He got married? Remus thought, an almost bitter feeling stabbing him in his chest. No. No time for that crap. "Right, and this is it." The Lieutenant walked right over to the desk, opening up a drawer and pulling out a small bundle of letters tied in loose string.
"Thank you sir..." Remus said, holding out his hand to grasp the papers while his eyes trailed to Will. Now was when this plan would really have to get cooking. For once Remus was hoping Will was in a chatty mood right now. They needed to get those papers on the desk...there was no room for fault now.
-
If only the Ravens here knew that the Purple Dragons had dropped off a certain Captain. If only the Captain knew that those men who had dropped him off were part of a gang he was tasked in arresting. Instead, all he knew was that he was to grab the documents that were dropped off and head back to Cardiff to exchange them to his Lieuteant. The Lieuteant here, Thomas Baker, was of the 41st Regiment of the Queen which stayed here to protect her. Hadrian's Regiment was located near the southern part of Britian but his Lieutenant, James Earl, was waiting back at his home so he could carry on with whatever was written on those papers. Hadrian was suppose to be home right now, with his wife and new born child who like any father wanted nothing more but to hold forever. Alexandra had been rather sour when hearing about the request for him down at Buckingham palace but it was fine. He was always working. Cutting through this party though should get him to his office quicker...or later. Some people stopped to greet him and other ignored him entirely. He only managed to bump into a woman with dark hair.
"Pardon me ma'am" He said, shooting a small smile while brushing past her.

《 Don't worry Misc, your replies are always lovely. As are yours Bee; everyone has such good replies cx and then I'm over here forgetting my character’s name and hair colour and entire personality. Jk. Kinda. Halloween isn't really my thing, tbh. I'm not super into candy - I don't like the overly sugary chocolate and stuff. Call me a chocolate snob, but I'd much rather have a little bit of really good chocolate than a lot of chocolate that's been hyper-sweetened. I like warm weather. But I guess more importantly I just really don't like snow and ice what a good little Canadian I am
Oh my the Hawkins family is here. 》
If anyone were to look at Nat, they would see only a dashing young lordling chatting up some young lady. And he was fairly dashing, but most women would probably settle on ‘cute’. He had a young face - not baby-faced, but he was often mistaken for being at least a year or two younger than he actually was, just barely twenty - which seemed like an odd thing for someone of his status. It didn’t help that he wasn’t particularly tall; always a good several inches shorter than Gansey and Finch, who were far taller than the average human was allowed. And it wasn’t like Nat was that short! He was just dwarfed by his counterparts of the same age. Annoying when it came to asserting his status, but also useful in a handful of other situations. While Gansey charmed everyone with that flirtatiousness he wore around everywhere, Nat could do an uncanny impression of the honest friendly boy-next-door. A good boy, following all the latest fashion trends, with his dark hair combed all nicely. A wolf in sheep’s clothing.
He shot Sybil a sheepish smile at her reply, like that was what he'd been expecting to hear. It had, at least, been exactly what he was hoping to hear. Will's friend had no idea who Nathaniel Schuyler was, and that was pretty much perfect. He chuckled, sounding almost shy. “Actually, I knew that.” He admitted falsely. He was an excellent liar. “I was just looking for an excuse to speak with you. Forgive me?” He lifted his dark eyes, letting them skim over her face. What exactly did Will like about this one? From what he remembered from seeing her at the brawl, Sybil was nothing like this girl clad in a frilly dress, although perhaps that was only what she wore to a fistfight. He doubted it; something about her awkwardness made him think she wasn't used to being dressed up. That struck him as odd; he thought Will liked the stereotypically beautiful girls. Although Will's odd collections of science texts and novels hadn't gone as unnoticed as he might’ve thought. Nat noticed a lot.
“Well, it is a pleasure to meet you, Sybil.” He continued, smiling at her awkward fumbling. “I'm Nat - Nathaniel, really, but that's such a mouthful.”
--
Everything was going surprisingly smoothly, so far. Almost too smoothly. There hadn't been so much as a sign of the other gangs, but Will knew better than to think that meant they weren't there. Perhaps they'd all taken advantage of the party Baker had just mentioned. Not that that strategy had ended up working so well last time. He wasn't sure how clearly he wanted to remember that evening - when he'd betrayed the Rocks and shot at Lu Tang and his Purple Dragons - or the day after. Beake… had not been pleased with him, to say the least. Even so, Will knew the man had pulled his punches on him to some extent. He was a corrupt, twisted man, but some part of him had actually thought of Will like a son - no, an heir to his legacy for him to mold to his desires. Will didn't want the Rockshire legacy. There was good money in their trade, but nothing about it was clean. The Rockshires were the kings of the black market - which made just about all of their business highly illegal.
They had made it to their destination without so much as a hitch in their plan. The Lieutenant handed Remus the stack of letters and then - and then it was Will's moment to make a distraction. He'd run through multiple scenarios in his head, but there was nothing he could really solidify in his head until he'd reached the space. It was always going to have to be improv. His eyes scanned the room briefly, searching, searching, searching… There were the stack of documents they needed, surrounded by other neatly organized paperwork, and right by the edge, a bottle of ink. An open bottle of ink. An idea sparked in his head, already setting in motion.
There was a large portrait on the wall of some famous general or other. Will's eyes widened as if amazed, stepping forward excitedly. “Pardon me, sir, excuse me, but is that -”
One step too far. He bumped into the desk so sparingly that it couldn't have been anything but accidental. Still, it jarred him enough that his hand shot out to steady himself - and tipped over the bottle. Blue-black liquid flowed out onto the desk, and he loosed a flustered curse. He shoved the very important-looking paperwork away with one hand, a very particular stack of documents falling to the floor amidst a couple others, while his other hand righted the bottle of ink. “Oh dear - uh..”
The strangled note in his voice was not at all acted, unlike the rest. He was more than a little concerned that he wouldn't make it out of this alive.
--
Eliza made her way around the party casually, keeping her eye out for both her own companions and members of the other gangs. So far so good but -
There. The purple suits were unmistakable. Really, whoever’s idea it was for the Purple Dragons to all wear purple suits deserved what they had coming. Then again, perhaps they hadn't even needed to bribe their way into an event like this - word on the street was that the Dragons had solid political ties to the crown, what with controlling one of London’s main harbors and all. Her eyes fixed on Lu Tang, recalling the last time she'd seen the man. Oh, he'd be angry by now, after their stunt at the brawl with the dogs. It was safe to say the Black Ravens were not the most popular gang on the block at the moment. If there was anyone the other gangs were out to get, it would be them.
And her as well. She wasn't sure they even knew her name, but Eliza had been involved both at Lady Rebecca’s party and the brawl. It didn't matter if she wasn't officially a Raven - in their minds she was.
Eliza looked around for her own companions, hoping to signal to them the arrival of their enemies. But Sybil was currently in conversation with a rather darling looking young lad, and Lenore was… Eliza couldn't see Lenore at the moment. Frowning ever so slightly, she looked again. There she was, right by an oddly familiar looking man - she definitely didn't know him, but Eliza could've sworn he reminded her of someone.

[ AH. AHAHAHA. AHAHAHAHAHA. MY INTERNET HAS RETURNED. ] [ let's be honest even if the movie isn't good, I would still watch it again if asked cause I'm trash Then I shall bring the trick or treaters, and the parties I'm Bee here to save yous ] [ Si Ult, you have awesome replies, whatchu talking about. Oh Misc ] [ I feel the same way Ult, at least with milk chocolate. Idk. looks like I gotta bring pop tarts to misc too ] [ Do you want to switch then, cause summers here either really hot or like fall like temps or one week is snow and the next it's summer. It's like the season lottery here ] [ will with the ink my gosh ] [ should there be a official order. is that something people do ]
Eh? Make an excuse to talk to her...? She felt her face shift into confusion. This guy- Nat what a odd nick name, it reminded her the bug. Oh that was a rude thought. But for him making a excuse to come talk to her? And what did he mean 'He already knew that' as in her name? How, she's never met anyone here. or maybe everyone was given a notice of who was going to be there? She had no idea how parties like this worked but she would drop that for now. She was putting too much thought into this anyway. She realized the confused expression on her face was still there, so she shook her head and sighed softly. "Sorry um...Nat. It just..." There are plenty of other women in here to talk to... she wanted to say but found her mouth to open but close. Was that a rude thing to say to a Lord? Was he even a Lord? Was he the son of a Lord, a Duke? Like...she forgotten for a second she was here to do a mission. Not make nice with some...god she couldn't even place what he looked like in a category. His behavior reminded her of like her brothers best friend who was always polite to their sister. Did that make sense? Probably not but who cares.
"Nothing. It's nice to meet you as well..." She said, her eyes trailing away from him for a moment wondering what the heck was she gonna do now? Was he gonna leave? Was he gonna try and make conversation with her or something? To be honest she wanted to move around...or at least sit somewhere she could get a good visual aid on the rest of the party. Her side was throbbing...not bad but standing around in the same spot didn't exactly help. In fact...sitting sounded good at the moment she just didn't know where. She looked back to Nat and shrugged her shoulders. "I know I already said it before but uh...sorry. I'm not exactly a conversationalist at the start... I do think the girls over there would make better use of your time then wasting it on me sir" She said, her hand pointing over there to the group of dolled up Lady's siting around a table that looked ten times more interesting then Sybil. Not to mention she needed to work...no offense to Nat, but this wasn't a social call. "That is if you like gossiping about some petty Lord or Lady. Or just not talking at all and let them blab about how amazing the sandwiches are for who knows how long" She let the words slip past her lips before she knew how to cover it. It probably wasn't a good idea to talk bad about a bunch of women Sybil has no clue are.
"I'm sorry that came out...rude. I'm not exactly tea party material" She said, her feet beginning to move as to try and shift their conversation from this one standing point. She needed to see around the room, she needed to move instead of chatting it up with some pretty boy. Her eyes did trail off a bit, catching the sight of a man in a red coat bumping into Lenore and three purple suited men ( Geez wonder who that was ) split up and enter the group of Lords and Lady's. We have ourselves the Dragons and Ravens...now where are the rest to join our little get together?

Well Remus wasn't expecting Will to spill ink everywhere but it was something. "God-" The Lieutenants voice sounded so annoyed when seeing the blue ink spread across the surface and papers flying to the ground. Remus bent down to begin picking up papers, setting down their stack of letters to grab at the useless papers and instead shift the more important pieces towards Morgan so he could sift them into the stack of letters. "I certainly hope you plan on replacing that ink and plan on explaining to your Captain why on earth his desk is stained with ink" The Lieutenant quickly moved forward to snatch up the framed photograph from the desk before the ink could stain the frame and to get it out of Will's swiping gestures. "I'm sorry sir, he gets overly excited about things I'm afraid, especially about the old greats" Remus said while pushing the papers they needed toward Remus while also snatching up the papers. His eyes trailed over certain chunks of the documents, written in long black cursive writing and not at all like his brothers own chicken scratch.
Letters from home, letters to the general and his own regiment. Hello Hawkins. Dear Hawkins. Congrats Captain. Things beginning with various intros to these letters and documents. "I can tell...goodness the mess this is...I suppose it's not a big deal...it can be cleaned" Baker said, shifting Will away from the mess like he was worried more about the uniform getting stained now then the actual desk itself. "Where would you like these documents sir?" Remus asked, holding up a bundle of random papers he grabbed that had been stacked on the desk itself before being swept off. "Ahh...just give them here...it's important we keep these separated" Baker grumbled, setting down the picture frame on a little side table next to a vase. Remus stood suddenly when the Lieutenant came over, nearly knocking the poor man flat on his back at the sudden movement. Remus moved to grab hold of the man to steady him but instead only managed to 'accidently' push him back so he was forced to lean against the desk instead. "Blood hell!" The man cursed as his hand struck the mess of ink, jerking his hand away from the puddle.
"I'm sorry I was just trying to-" Remus began but Baker shook his head with a frown. "It's...fine. You're cadets...obviously you haven't learned proper common sense yet" Ouch. Remus tried to hide the smile that threatened to creep on his face at the look of the man, smiling wasn't what he should even be thinking about. He just stood in the way of the Lieutenant so Morgan could grab at what he could. Hiding the papers beneath the letters...hopefully, as quick as he could.

Lu Tang grinned at the sight of the Captain bumping into...oh what was her name? She was Remus's favorite...Lenore! Yes that was her. The Captain only grinned at her as he shifted around her, making his way toward the exit and hopefully running into Brother dearest and his friends. "That the captain that walked through here?" Mumbled a girl from beside him. Lu Tang nodded, his eyes scanning the room while taking in some familiar faces. He could see the Rockshires have come here...Nathaniel was busy talking to that Sybil girl. Glad to know she was alive, but it was odd seeing how she always ended up face to face with some Rockshire gent. Cursed forever to run into the group she hated the most, very suiting. The other two Rockshires were there as well. Ms. Beake surprisingly and um...Boy-who-stabbed-girl yes that's it. Lu Tang didn't care what his name was, Rockshires were beneath him, the only names he should remember are those that matter. If he happens to remember then so be it.
"What shall we do now? Mix and mingle and wait until the other three move?" Cory whispered beside him, the sly smile on the mans face oozed with false kindness and a sort of welcoming aura. "Hmm...no. I want you to follow the Captain out...see to it that you get those documents...I don't want the Ravens to pull another one on us" Lu Tang replied in the same hushed whisper, his hand coming up to smooth his black hair from his face while offering a greeting to a passing Lady. "And leave you here with the rest?" Tao asked with a raised brow. "I can handle a few Rockshires and Ravens...they wouldn't dare cause a stir here. They aren't the Crestels" The comment made the other two men chuckle as they split off from Lu Tang to follow after the Captain who had brushed by Lenore and toward the exit. So Lu Tang had to act like he normally did...and make sure no one went after his two men.
Lu tang had planned on just sitting around and talking to some of his fellow Lords when...oh. Oh goodness was that who he thought it was? He caught a sight of a familiar head of curls and green eyes. William Gansey's sister? He had seen her at the brawl, didn't take a genius to know they were related. Oh it must be Christmas He thought, rolling his shoulders back as he made way toward the area Eliza was standing. He had no idea the Gansey tree decided to invest in some Ravens. So if Sybil Rye, Lenore and um...Lizzy? Claire? Eliza! Yes, boy he was on a roll. But if there were three Ravens here...would that mean that the boys stayed home? Didn't make much sense considering Remus went on all the jobs beforehand. Hm. Interesting indeed. Didn't matter. He was going to send those Ravens home with clipped wings at the end of this job for sure. "I have to say, you Ravens do clean up nice." Lu tang asked, his eyes skimming over the girl with false interest while he raised a brow. Tell me Raven, will you shoot at me the same as your brother?

《 Eyyooo
Tbh I watch the first three pirates movies too often. I also am a little obsessed with the soundtrack for those movies. Oh no, Misc, did you end up finding your phone? I lose everything, I swear. That's probably my fault because I'm not very organized cx Meh I just don't like sub-zero temperatures. I mean Celsius. I can never wrap my head around Fahrenheit I swear it's such a weird scale. Will do you have an ink fetish or something? But now I'm just picturing him constantly spilling ink in increasingly unrealistic situations cx
Well I mean we could have an order. But I feel like we don't really need one as long as we don't leave any characters way behind. Maybe generally when the whole squad is chatting, but that's just kind of common courtesy, if you know what I mean? Anyway I don't think we really need anything formal.
And now the sleepiness is hitting me. I think I'll hold off on replying until tomorrow c; 》
