Since I have FINALLY finished HJ and have yet to see this post, I made the stereotypical who will pair off and have kits thread.
Here is SkyClan at the end of the book:
Leafstar
Hawkwing
Sparrowpelt
Macgyver- Dewpaw
Tinycloud
Sagenose
Plumwillow
Rabbitleap
Sandynose
Harrybrook
Blossomheart- Finpaw
Bellaleaf- Reedpaw
Clovertail
Fallowfern
There are a number of cats who can't or won't have more kits. We can cross out Leafstar, Hawkwing, Sagenose, Clovertail, and Fallowfern right off the bat.
We have two pairings: Sparrowpelt-x-Tinycloud and Sandynose-x-Plumwillow. They are the most likely to have kits.
We have several single cats with no previous relationships: Macgyver, Rabbitleap, Harrybrook, Blossomheart, and Bellaleaf. I'm not counting the apprentices since they are so young.
So for new kits, I'd say at least one of the established pairs, most likely Sparrow and Tiny. And then we'll probably see at least one new pair form. I'd like to see Harrybrook-x-Bellaleaf. And I believe they are almost hinted at since they left with Echosong.
But, this is all assuming that no cat returns. If no one returns, we could have four potential litters born very soon. If cats return, then that changes everything.

Clovertail was one of the cats who was captured, so she's not with them. Also, you forgot to mention Frecklewish... Her status is unknown, but seeing as she's a medicine cat, it's likely she'll return. She still can't have kits though...
I think they will also need more kits from other clans joining, because they're too small to repopulate without everyone breeding with each other...

Kate pretty much confirmed that more cats will return so this will probably end up changing.

Hm, well, Kate confirmed that one of Mintfur's kits might return. So him/her would go on this list as well. No clue about their parents and littermates though.
I wish Ebonyclaw went with SkyClan. I'll miss her. Harveymoon will probably never return as well. And we still don't know what happened to Frecklewish. Clovertail isn't with them.
As for the other cats:
Fallowfern was mates with Waspwhisker, but even if he was still with the Clan she wouldn't be having any more kits.
Leafstar's only love was Billystorm. (And I'm still sad over here)
Sagenose was with Birdwing and he wanted to go with his mate and son before being convinced to stay with the Clan. He probably won't take another mate anytime soon. (I wonder if Curlypaw knows what happened to her family)
Hawkwing is still young. Since Pebbleshine is probably dead, he might find another mate. You never know.

I'm not sure about the others. We still have Macgyver, Rabbitleap, Harrybrook, Blossomheart, and Bellaleaf. I want Bellaleaf to have kits so Barley's linage can live on. I'm still sad about Rileypool. We get a whole novella with them only for one of them to die in the end.
We now know that Macgyver can have kits, so it makes you wonder if he'll ever have any. And then we have three more. Who knows what will happen.

I ship BlossomxRabbit and BellaxMac who else ? And maybe Sagenose will have kits again ? With Reedpaw when shes older ?

That was Clovertail before she retired. But I'd say there's a very good chance that Tinycloud will have more kits. I really want to see someone not related to Clovertail do that though. Bellaleaf needs to have kits with someone. |
