You know, sometimes we don't read books in order. I don't think everyone's first book was Into the Wild.
My first book was The Rise of Scourge, then the whole Graystripe manga, then the two first books of the Tigerstar and Sasha manga, then I read most of The Fourth Apprentice. (I also read a little bit of Crookedstar's Promise.) Then I started reading the first series (in order) but when I got to A Dangerous Path I read the third book of the Tigerstar and Sasha manga. Then I started reading the books in order.

I read The Sight first, before starting the original series. Though during that I continued the Power of Three

I read a little bit first of Into the Wild, hated it, tried Fire an Ice and loved it.

If I remember correctly, it was the first book in the Omen of the Stars arc. I was in 5th grade at the time.
Then, after a few books, then I read Into the Wild, and in the chronological order.

I tried reading Fire And Ice first because I didn't know books go in order and I was confused as heck.
I only got through like the prologue
So then a year later I read Into The Wild and that was where I really started reading them

I started to read Midnight, but then i realized this wasnt the actual first book. I looked in the back and saw that there were 6 whole other books, so i stopped reading the prologue to midnight and went book shopping for the first series. so first official book is into the wild.

Dark River. I was completely confused. Then I read the New Prophecy in order. It was at least a year or two later when I finally read Into the Wild.

I read The Darkest Hour first, because I didn't really know that there were books before that and I thought it sounded cooler than the others anyway

I picked up Fire and Ice in elementary school, got really confused because I started in the middle of the series. I gave up on it and tried reading Midnight the following year. I was a lot less confused and finished TNP after that. I was part way into POT before I found out about OS. I ended up reading OS while reading POT.

Moonrise was the first Warriors book I read. I bought it along with Fire and Ice and Starlight. Fire and Ice was second, then Starlight.
