There's a name I can appreciate~! Oh, where to start... It looks and sounds amazing and the originality of this name is spot on.
Larkstripe - 3/10
Alright, it only gets point for small amounts of originality. It looks bad, sounds terrible and isn't too original in itself. Lark is a hard name to make sound and look good.

It's something I could see in the canon series. It's simple and plain, looking and sounding okay. 1 Kit
Ratkit - A short-furred British Short-hair tom with dark grey, black-appearing fur. He has creamish white markings on his tail, ear tips, toes and just above his nose. His fur is a little messy, giving him a grungy-look. He has an average build, though a bit skinnier than most tom's his age. He's tall with slightly pudged-out cheeks along with a pair of brownish-amber eyes. He was named after his pale tail that resembles one of a rat's. |

Canon Names:
Cloudpelt - white tom with long, soft fur and pale blue eyes. He is graceful and tends to act cocky.
Darkleaf - very small dark gray-and-black she-cat with a stumpy tail and dark green eyes. She is very determined and kind, she tends to keep her composure under stressful situations. Also her Clan's medicine cat
Stormlight - dark gray tom with a white flash on his throat and yellow eyes. He is a skilled and strong fighter as well as cooperative and tends to stay optimistic
Noncanon Names:
Sunsong - golden tabby she-cat with amber eyes. She is very outgoing and tends to be a loud talker
Moonfern - large light gray tom with white tips, giving him a silvery appearance, with long, soft fur, and light yellow eyes. He is graceful and friendly to others.

Cherrywhisker - 6/10 It's okay, honestly it's pretty in sound, looks and just overall appearance it gives off. However, it's very overused when it comes to prefixes with Cherry. Suggestions: Cherrystem, Cherryflower, Cherrybloom Copperfang - 4/10 I honestly am not a fan of copper, not to mention how much I see the name Copperfang. It's overly used as the classic love interest for a she-cat in many stories and it gets old. Suggestions: Coppertooth, Copperjaw, Goldenfang Thornpelt - 5/10 Plain and simple, something I could see in the series. Of course, I'm going to rate it on how it appears, sounds and overall feel it gives, and that's plain. It's boring and it makes the cat sound boring. But if you're going to make a cat that could easily be a background character, this isn't bad. I'm not going to give suggestions because I can't tell what you're going for. Thistleclaw - N/A Canon Name Flurryheart - 7/10 It's original and doesn't sound bad, it's just not the best thing out there. (Also, Flurryheart is a character in MLP in which I find funny XD It's kinda like naming your cat 'Rainbowdash' or 'Applebloom') Suggestions: Flurryleaf, Flurryfeather, Flurryflight Mudpool - 10/10 What a darling name~! Forestfall, Forestflare, Forestsmoke, Forestfire Bitterkit - A tiny pale silver tabby Exotic Short-hair/Burmilla mix she-kit. Her pelt is mostly very pale silver classic tabby markings with the exceptions of white splashes on her chest, cheeks, muzzle, forehead, ear tips, stomach and tail tip. She has a pudgy build, her cheeks puffing out naturally. Her eyes are large and round, being a light shade of greenish-yellow. She's a quiet little gal, keeping her mouth shut but her tail swaying with excitement.

Lightningfoot - 4/10 A name that tends to be used more than it should. Usually used for grey tom's with either blue or amber eyes. It's nice, just used way too much. Suggestions: Lightningpath, Lightingstreak, Sparkfoot Redwing - 5/10 It's plain and simple in all honesty, nothing too special about it. It would fit the traditional motherly character. Suggestions: Redflight, Crimsonwing, Maplewing Shadowpelt - 3/10 Plain and very unoriginal. It sounds like most first warrior cat ocs that tend to be edgy. It doesn't pop out as a character I would want to learn let alone read about. Suggestions: Shadowbloom, Shadowrunner, Shadowgaze Shadedfur - 7/10 This one is a lot better than the previous one. It's a little too plain for me, but hey I'm the kind of person who prefers to have more original names. Suggestions: Shadedflower, Shadedback, Shadedmask ((I'm rating your names now! |
