She bounded in the direction of the ShadowClan border, scenting a blackbird.

The she-cat spotted the flock of birds and singled one out on the edge of the group. She stalked quietly up to it until she was within a fox-length, then chased. The bird flapped its wings and took to the sky, but Dawntail followed, springing up into the air to nab it in her front paws. The rest of the flock took notice and flew off. Dawntail jumped at another one, but missed.

Frecklepaw's ears twitched at that foreboding-sounding statement, but she stood up. No use sitting around doing nothing, even if she did feel like a monster just ran over her. She didn't want to hunt, though. She wanted to train. She spotted Whisperpaw, and remembered Hawkfury's unfortunate death- maybe Whisperpaw would train with her?
She padded up behind the other she-cat. "Um... hey, Whisperpaw?" she mewed quietly, "Would you, um, like to train?"

Whisperpaw looked up, "Um, sure." She mewed, shuffling her paws. The she-cat had little confidence in her abilities, and she hoped to not make a fool of herself in front of her denmate.
