Harewhisker poked his head into the nursery to see if his mate was awake. Realizing she was, he ducked out again, picked up the rabbit he managed to catch underground and dragged it in for her.
Beankit was sleeping on his back.

Frostpetal purred as Harewhisker padded into the nursery. "Hello my love" she purred, slightly softer than her normal speaking voice so as not to wake the kits. She glanced to Beankit and gave a small chuckle at her son's chosen sleeping position.

"I thought..." Harewhisker laid the rabbit down and lightly shrugged. "I thought you might be hungry." He spoke to Frostpetal; however, his eyes were stolen to their kits.

Blacktail sighed softly as he watched his kits practice their battle moves with eachother. Rookpaw was as fast as the wind, but her brothers were larger than her, and could brunt her attacks better. For a moment, he missed the days he had done the same with Boulderfoot and Rainfeather and Beetleclaw...Rosethorn, Fallenwind and Tabbywing. He missed them all so dearly, wondering if anyone would have ever thought he would have been the last one left. He pushed the thought away, turning instead to look for his mate.
Soarpaw ran across the moors with Grasslight, delightedly laughing as he passed her in his swift sprint, his mother calling out proudly for him to keep going.
Cinderscar paced near the nursery, poking his head in every few moments to look over his kits with a proud expression.

Dashclaw was supposed to be keeping watch on Outlook Rock; however, he kept getting distracted by Grasslight and Soarpaw on the moors. His paws were itching to join them. Soarpaw was getting so fast! He'd likely run circles around him in the upcoming days!

Soarpaw bounded quickly across the partially regrown grass, though the scars of the fire still remained. Even so, the tom ran as fast as he could. He looked up, catching a glance of his father on Outlook rock. He felt a sudden urge to look his best, wanting to impress his father. Maybe he could run with him soon. He ran a bit faster, aiming to circle around the Outlook rock and run back.
Grasslight purred, looking up at her mate as she called, delight and energy in her voice. “Our brave guardian! High on that rock! See anything out there?”

"Hm?" Dashclaw blinked when he heard Grasslight's voice. He lightly winced. Right. He was supposed to keep watch. Dashclaw did a quick look around to be sure of no intruders on the territory before he hollered back. "I only see the two fastest cats in WindClan!"

Dashclaw did a quick look around to be sure of no intruders on the territory before he hollered back. "I only see the two fastest cats in WindClan!" “I count three!” Grasslight teased, looking up meaningfully at her mate before her eyes trained lovingly on their son. Soarpaw skidded to a halt before he began to run laps around the Outlook Rock. “Wanna run with us when you’re off watch duty, father?” Soarpaw called up, hope in his gentle voice.

Dashclaw chuckled, proudly watching his son. "As long as you're not too tired to! I would love to join you!" “I won’t be tired!” Soarpaw promised, now determined to preserve his energy to wait for his father to join them. He didn’t want to be too tired to run right when Dashclaw started. “I sure won’t either.” Grasslight teased. “Stonepath always told me that my energy is like a river. It never stops coming!” She laughed, lifting up on her hind legs to press her forepaws to the Outlook rock, stretching out her body to work out the faint soreness in her legs.

Dashclaw purred as he looked down at his family. He moved to the edge of the rock to lean down toward Grasslight. "Well, if that's the case, I can only believe the two of you. I look forward to running with you when Blacktail sends my replacement up here."

Larkpaw looked up in wonder at the entrance of the tunnel, hauling herself out with a grunt. "Woah! We're further from camp than I thought," she exclaimed. Turning around again she giggled as she caught sight of her sister in the sun. "Juniperpaw, your nose is covered in dirt!" Sagefoot purred softly, moving to press against Stonepath as their daughters were distracted. "That sounds wonderful. Perhaps in time we can show them our spot too, but not yet. I'd like to keep it to ourselves a little longer." Pulling away from him just slightly, she took her tail to gently brush off some loose dirt from his shoulder. "There." she murmured quietly "Handsome as ever."

Fallowmeadow frowned as she stared into a small puddle on the edge of the camp, was that gray hair growing in on her muzzle? It stood out starkly against the deep black of her fur, for once she wished her muzzle was white like the spots on her back. She grumbled, "I'm not that old am I?"
Sandfall yawned as he stepped out of his nest, looking up at the sky. He purred quietly noticing the sky seemed a brighter blue these days, a sign that newleaf was on it's way.
Wolfstep trotted out of camp beside Goldheart, the two hoping to bring back some prey.
Jasmineheart sat on the edge of camp, spending the time to groom the dirt out of her pelt after being in the tunnels all morning.

We're lucky to have such steady leadership during these times." Grasslight purred, thinking fondly of her uncle, before she blinked up at her mate. "Hm. Perhaps after we all run together, you and I could stroll along the territory together." She winked, giggling a bit as Soarpaw's nose crinkled with discomfort. "Mama, that's so weird. All that sappy stuff is weird..." He complained softly, though there was no venom in the gentle tom's words.

She exclaimed, smiling at her sister as she swept a paw towards her to cuff her shoulder. "Handsome as I am, I pale in comparison to you. Even after tunneling, you always look your best." Stonepath rumbled warmly, a deep purr in his throat as he allowed his mate to clear the dirt from his pelt. He turned to groom her ears with a careful tongue, making sure that no dust marred her lovely fur. "Our spot can stay secret for now...I like having our secrets, just the two of us."

Larkpaw gasped, giving her chest an embarrassed lick before trying to swipe the dirt off her own nose. “I guess we’ll have to get used to grooming the dirt out of her fur huh.”
Sagefoot felt her fur heat at her mate’s comment, her heart beating like a love-sick apprentice’s. “You and your sappy statements.” She purred quietly. “You always know how to make smile.”

"My mentor says that a Tunneler isn't truly a tunneler until we've had to groom our coats off of us." Juniperpaw giggled, her pink nose twitching as she shook the last of the dirt off. "Stay still and I can get some off for you. No way you can reach that far on your back."
"I never tell a lie." Stonepath's muzzle tilted lightly in the edges of a grin, the stoic tom always showing the most emotion and care around his mate. He bumped his head against her shoulder lightly before he chuckled. "Am I flustering you, Sagefoot?"

Larkpaw giggled, trying to stay still for Juniperpaw. "That's true! Twigtail told me something very similar and I've seen father come out of the tunnels covered in dirt."
Sagefoot huffed out a laugh, "I wouldn't say flustered, but you know how to make me feel loved." she murmured, licking his ears. "I hope I do the same for you."

"Birchstep sometimes calls me a mole when I get dirt in my fur." Juniperpaw giggled softly, having had a good time with her mentor so far. He was clever and kind, and very patient with her shyness. She moved to carefully groom her sister's pelt, grimacing at the taste of sand, but not complaining.
"Everyday." Stonepath assured softly, closing his eyes to her affections and letting her do as she pleased with a rumble of contentment. "I used to never want any attention on me. I was content just tunneling and living in the dark. But. I prefer doing it all with you. You've always been there with me. You're my greatest friend, you always were."

Larkpaw hummed in thought, "Aren't moles brown? Your fur isn't brown! Or is it because you look brown with all the dirt on you?" Larkpaw looked closely at her sister, eyes narrowed. "I suppose the dirt could make your white fur look brown."
Sagefoot nuzzled against him, "You know I feel the same, we were both lost before we found each other." Suddenly she remembered that their daughters were standing rather close to them, lost off in their own little world. "I suppose we should get back to what we were doing." she stated with a sheepish laugh, "But those two are so oblivious still, I suppose they weren't even paying attention to us."

Swiftstar sat at the base of tall rock, his tail flicking as he scanned the camp. Blacktail's announcement that he would be stepping down as WindClan's deputy would probably never sit one hundred percent right with him...but at least he was starting to come to terms with it. He appreciated that the senior tom had spoken to him before he told the rest of the clan...it gave him time to think.

Moles are cute, at least. Well...and they taste good." She giggled, lifting her paw to her muzzle. "They're off in their own world, and we're off in ours." Stonepath humored, though his eyes were warm as he felt touched by his mate's words. He wondered if this was what his mother had felt for the father he had never gotten to meet. He hoped when his time came, he could meet Boulderfoot, and hear every story his father never got to tell him. He focused his attention back on his daughters and purred faintly. "They probably wouldn't hear us padding right up to their side."

Larkpaw giggled at the image of Juniperpaw sticking her head out like a mole. "You would look pretty cute like that." she teased. "Have you started to learn how to hunt using the tunnels? Twigtail tried to explain it to me, but we haven't gotten that far yet. It sounds so complicated!"
Sagefoot snickered as they approached their daughters, still having their own conversation. "What are you two doing?" she asked lightly, flicking her tail over both of their ears.

Noot.)
Eaglekit was chasing a mossball around outside the nursery, Soulspirit watching from the entrance and with Morningkit curled up next to her.
Whispersong was grooming her pelt after a morning patrol and glanced around the camp, wondering if there was anything she could do to keep herself busy. At the same time, she was hoping to spot Sandfall as well.
Ashsong padded towards the camp entrance, planning on going hunting.

Lol)
Whispersong perked up when she spotted Sandfall, waiting for him to finish delivering prey to the nursery before approaching him.
Eaglekit batted her mossball away from her and landed in front of Sandfall’s paws. She crouched down into a clumsy hunter’s crouch her father had shown her, getting ready to pounce on the mossball.
Soulspirit gave a purr as she watched her daughter play and gave a nod of greeting to Sandfall as he approached.
