(Eh, I'm alright.)
"We have to determine that when we get down there." Harewhisker smiled reassuringly. "Before we even reach the collapsed area we'll have to evaluate the tunnels leading up to it and probably reinforce them as we go. We likely won't even get to start the dig outs today. There's a lot of work that goes into tunneling and you're typically down there for most of the day. But, with you being leader, I won't keep you down there too long in case the Clan needs you."

((I thought I moved her?...did I not?
I didn't click post lol. Whoops))
Swiftstar nodded and padded closer to the tunnel entrance. "Well." He said, taking a reassuring breath "Let's go then." He appreciated that he wouldn't spend all day in the tunnels...for more than one reason, but he didn't want to come across as too nervous.

Lol it’s okay. I actually wanted to ask you if you still want to get Crowfrost and Fawnspots together? I know we said we would a while back, but we never got the chance to work on them lol. I plan on posting updated forms for all my characters.)

Harewhisker nodded back to Swiftstar and slipped into the tunnel, taking the lead, but it slow to give Swiftstar time to adjust. "Get a feel for the earth beneath your paws. It's going to be your anchor down here. Different areas of the territory have different composition, so if you know the different compositions, then you know what part of the territory you're in. Around camp, it's sandier."

((Hi Moon! Sorry for the poof everyone!)) Frostpetal purred. "Maybe, if Swiftstar gives you your warrior name by then...have you given any thought to what you want it to be? I remember when I was an apprentice I would spend way too much time trying to guess what I thought my name might be. Frostshard was always a favorite." Her tail flicked happily as she thought back to her days as an apprentice and her warrior ceremony. "Antclaw." Antpaw mewed without hesitation, his eyes flashing with determination as he nodded. "If I'm lucky, I'll be named Antclaw. I...er, well, I want to be named after my father. Everyone says we look alot alike, and I'm really proud to be his son. He spends so much time learning tunneling with me...I really like it." He purred, hoping that Dashclaw wasn't working himself too hard.

((We totally can! Fawnspots needs more character anyway!))
Swiftstar padded slowly after Harewhisker, letting his paws feel the ground underneath him. "It feels weird without the grass." He admitted. "Harder than on the moor." His pelt began to prickle with unease as the light began to fade and they traveled further underground.

Frostpetal flicked her tail, unsure of what to say. Dashclaw and Harewhisker never seemed to get along, and she didn't understand why. Things hadn't gotten better since Dashclaw became a moor runner again either."Your father is a hard worker, that's for sure." She said after a moment's pause. "He really tries his best for the clan.

"He does." Antpaw puffed his chest proudly. "He works harder than anyone else I know!...I know he's been upset since Swiftstar made him a moor-runner again, but I enjoyed the time we spent in the tunnels. Maybe one day he can do both too." Antpaw mewed, hopeful but accepting of his father's leave of the tunnels.

Harewhisker nodded. "It needs to be, else the ground above us would just cave in. Don't worry though. We take good care of the tunnels closest to camp, they won't cave in on us. We know how important it is for the clan to have an escape. Reinforcing these tunnels is what the apprentices do to practice their technique, but we warriors always check them when we pass through."

Wanna rp them? I’ll make a starter ^.^)
Crowfrost was inspecting the fresh-kill pile, his tail twitching as he frowned. It could use more on it, in his own opinion. He sighed and stood up, looking for anyone that would want to go look for prey.

(Sure. Gonna poof for dinner rn though)
Splashstone padded heavily around camp, still struck hard by Meadowbrook's betrayal. Even more so, he was still stung by the loss of his mother, the anger he harbored towards Starclan, towards everything and everyone for simply existing as he was. Half-clan, and not sure if he even felt he belonged as a Windclan cat. Even so, his appointment of Burrowpaw as his apprentice certainly served to keep his mind occupied. He needed the apprentice more than Burrowpaw needed him, not that he would ever admit it.
"Burrowpaw." He called out for the apprentice, trying to keep the heaviness out of his voice.

Frostpetal purred encouragingly. "You know, Harewhisker and I learned pretty quickly that one moor runner and one tunneler make a very formidable hunting pair." She said, her tail curling up as she fondly thought of her mate. "Harewhisker would chase the rabbits out of the hole and then I would wait and chase them once they surfaced." She let out a small purr. "Maybe you and Dashclaw could give it a try."
Swiftstar nodded. "So do the tunnels really go all the way across our territory?" He asked. He hard heard that they did, but now that he was in them it seemed impossible. How did tunnelers not get lost? A massive amount of respect for his warriors swept through him.
Fawnspots padded over to Crowfrost as he examined the prey heap. "Looking a little sparse, isn't it?" She said as she neared him.

“Oh ewww. Lovey dovey stuff.” Antpaw stuck his tounge out, though he quickly tilted his head as he thought about her words. “Well, I guess that would work! I’m going to be a top tunneler, so I can practice with him doing that. You’re full of good ideas, Frostpetal!...” Antpaw hesitated, suddenly seeming hesitant as he looked at her for a while. His paws shuffled and he asked quietly.
“Does Harewhisker not like us? I know him and Dashclaw aren’t all that friendly with eachother...but I don’t know my uncle all that well. I must remind him of Dashclaw. He probably likes me the least.”

"Mostly." Harewhisker nodded as he continued through the dark, his whiskers outstretched. "With the collapses, they certainly don't anymore, but we've managed to build tunnels that at least stretch to the borders. My father was a part of designing some of the tunnels for strategy sake. Just in case we needed them in different situation." He paused a moment to test the structure of the tunnel they were in. "Feel the wall to your right with your paws and your whiskers. How's it feel to you?"

Frostpetal let out a long sigh. "I don't understand the feud between Dashclaw and Harewhisker any more than you do Antpaw. I think it's something the two of them will have to work out for themselves, and unfortunately that means we can't do too much about it." Realizing that wasn't too reassuring she decided to try again. "I'm sure Harewhisker cares for you Antpaw, after all you're kin...I think both of those toms are too stubborn for their own good...but don't tell them I said that." She winked at the apprentice.
Swiftstar paused and felt the tunnel wall with his paw. "It feels sturdy." He said, patting around a little bit. "There are rocks here and dried mud." He wasn't sure what else to comment on. For the most part it felt....well like dirt.

“I hope so.” Antpaw sighed. “I don’t want him to think that I don’t like him just because he and my father are feuding. He’s my family! Just like you, I guess! Your kits are going to be my kin too, so I best get to know them early.” Antpaw decided, excited to see new clanmates soon.

"Good, because this wall is sturdy. Any wall can be sturdy no matter its composition, so get a good idea for how this wall feels, because that's what we want all walls to feel like." Harewhisker twitched his whiskers in light amusement at the leader's response. As honored as he was to be teaching Swiftstar how to tunnel, it was an amusing thought of treating Swiftstar as an apprentice. "Come on, I'll guide you to a wall that's less sturdy."

Frostpetal purred. "You're always welcome to keep me company Antpaw." She purred. "And I'm sure my kits would love to have someone to play with." She glanced down at her belly again and curled her tail happily. "They should be born any day now." she said, partially to Antpaw, but partially to herself. She was excited to meet them, but nervous.
Swiftstar nodded, realized Harewhisker couldn't see him nod in the dark, and then said "Alright." He padded along after Harewhisker, keeping the tom's scent close to him. "I appreciate you being willing to teach me Harewhisker." he said after a moment. "I know this might be a bit strange."

Burrowpaw popped up almost immediately out of a mound of sand and dirt he had been messing around in, some of the soil still on his head as he smiled and ran over to his mentor, his tail streaming out behind him as did. "Hi Splashstone! Are we going to the tunnels? I've been practicing my digging! Please tell me we're going to the tunnels!!!" The young tom was always excited when it came to his training, never able to get enough of being underground.

"It's an honor, Swiftstar." Harewhisker replied with a smile. "And I know the Clan thinks highly of your for learning the ways of a tunneler. I don't think any WindClan leader has every done that before."

Swiftstar nodded. "I'm glad to hear that, but in all honesty I'm not doing it for the clan's approval." He flicked his tail behind him as he walked "I can't lead the clan effectively if I don't know what half of them do."

"And that's why you have the Clan's approval, Swiftstar." Harewhisker paused when the tunnel split. "Your intentions of learning to be a tunneler are worthy in the Clan's eyes. If you were just doing it to please everyone, even I would be a bit sour over it."

Swiftstar's whisker's twitched in amusement at Harewhisker's response, and he paused when the tunneler did. "Are we at the less stable bit?" He asked, praying to StarClan that he would be able to feel a difference in the wall if they were.

(Head's up: I killed my phone. So, I won't be on Line in the next couple days.)
Harewhisker shook his head. "No, not yet. I just want to you to feel the tunnel for a moment. Feel how the air is and how the ground beneath gets a little bit wider. Why do you think that is?"

He fretted, sometimes a bit anxious when he got overly excited. "I'll visit you as much as you want, I can keep really good company. It's one of my best traits." The apprentice bragged.
