Fernheart pressed against him as they walked. She looked at him. "I really am sorry for being so mad.."

Dustfire flicked his tail over her mouth. "Hush. You had reason to be mad. I should've said something."

Fernheart's fur grew hot. "Sorry." She mumbled against his tail. She moved into camp.

Beetleclaw stalked quietly after a rabbit, the black tom narrowing his eyes in concentration.
Blacktail was grooming his snowwy white fur, before giving careful attention to his jet black tail. He idly thought of what to do with Sunpaw today.

Grasslight had spoken to her mother, questioning her on what she should do about her feelings. Rainfeather had given her kind laugh, how loving tunnlers must have run in the family. Grasslight realized after so long, that her father had tunneled happily...and he died above ground, fighting alongside moor-runners against Adderclan.
Her fear had driven her away from her family, Stonepath and Meadowbrook, and she refused to do that with Dashclaw. Deep down, she could only realize that she had fallen in love with him, and she was tired of being nervous.
Making her decision, she stomped with determination, yearning to find Dashclaw.

Dashclaw was sitting near the camp entrance, not really looking at anyone as he waited for his new mentor.
Harewhisker was hunting with Frostpetal.

Grasslight approached him strongly, breathing. "I don't like it when you look at me so hopelessly. Like I'd leave you for wanting to be a Tunnler. Or give up on you for your choices. The only choice I care about is the choice you have to care about me the way I want to care about you." She didn't care how loud she was, she needed to say it.
"You be a great tunnler, a-and I'll be the best moor runner, and then...one day you can teach me not to be scared of these tunnels and to fix all the fodder I've tossed around." She decided.

Dashclaw looked at her with still surprise as she spoke to him, "Grasslight..." he said slowly, but he trailed off as if he didn't know what to say.

"I...I am Rainfeather's daughter, and I was not raised to hesitate or cower under my feelings." Grasslight exclaimed strongly, to him and to herself. "I want you and your happiness more than I want you to stay a moor-runner. My father, my brother, my uncle, all tunnlers. And if Stonepath and Blacktail are happy down there...then I know you can be too. But, but I want to be there with you, for you. So don't push me away. I've made my decision and I'm stickin' with it!" She smiled at Dashclaw, stepping forward and pressing her nose to his lightly.
"I've got your back, Dashclaw. You have mine?"

He was quiet for long moments, his eyes actually closing when she pressed her nose to his, "I've always had your back, Grasslight." He breathed softly, opening his eyes to look at, "And I always will."

Grasslight's green eyes sparkled with youthful delight as she purred. "Glad to hear it." Steeling her bravery, she breathed.
"Is it...too soon to ask you to be my mate?" She asked quietly.

He smiled softly and rubbed her cheek, "No." He told her, "I've always loved you Grasslight."

(Well..)
Breezefoot padded into camp with his rabbit. He moved to sit it down on the pile before yawning softly.
Fernheart was grooming her fur by the warriors den. She was rather bored today.
Heathersky was taking a walk, wanting to get out of camp but not in the mood to hunt.

Beetleclaw leaped for the rabbit, slamming paws into it, and quickly killing it. The moors were calm today, but Beetleclaw couldn't find it to soothe his thoughts.
Grasslight perked with joy. "W-well, I loved you first!" She exclaimed in a teasing tone, before stepping back and nudging him. "Better get going with Birchstep. But, after that we can go look at the stars together or something." She offered.

Heathersky headed for the far border near the highstones. She hasn't been this way in a while. She strolled along.
Breezefoot moved to go rest for a few minutes in the sun. He laid down, putting his head on his paws.

Beetleclaw held the rabbit, glancing out over the moors. He blinked as he spotted a figure moving towards Highstones. He hated how easily he recognized her black and white fur. Why was she so hard to get out of his head?
He'd messed up with her, wavered her trust and hurt her, and he wanted nothing more than to be by her side again. His paws itched to go after her.

Heathersky turned to head along the border. She paused when she was a cat. After a few moments she realized who it was and scowled. Great.

Beetleclaw lifted his ears as he thought he saw her look towards him. He stood still, inwardly feeling both akward and weary, yet hoping by some faith she'd come over to him, or let him come over to her.
He buried the rabbit, suddenly spotting a flock of birds landing on a nearby hill. He looked back at Heathersky. He wanted nothing more than to hunt with her, compete to see who could catch the most birds like they had before all this mess.

Heathersky shook her head and kept walking. She wasn't going to let him control her life. She could walk where she please. She looked away and across the border.

Beetleclaw felt his ears droop in hopelessness as he saw her continue on. He had never felt so cowardly before. He supposed he couldn't do much, so he focused on the birds, making his way up the hill towards the prey.
When he crouched and readied a spring, he leaped, only to grunt in annoyance as his leg twinged and he leaped wrong, scaring the birds away. He clawed up the grass in anger.

"I would enjoy it too." Grasslight gave an excited laugh, waving her dark tail, before she swallowed. "Speaking of training, I'm sure your brother still has tunnling lessons to give me. But Hopepaw's doing so good."

Dashclaw flicked his ear at the mention of his brotehr and his smile slipped away, "Yeah...Harewhisker's the best tunneler in the clan." he replied.

"Mmmm. I dunno. Stonepath's pretty good. And Uncle Blacktail's pretty old and experienced." Grasslight teased with a smirk, though she knew Stonepath was much younger and Blacktail spent half his time yearning to train like a moor-runner instead of being solely underground. She flicked her tail.
"That just means you'll have to become better than him to teach me instead."

Dashclaw flicked his ear again, "I don't think that's possible, Grasslight. Harewhisker got his skills straight from Rabbitdash."

My brother would totally help you out. That, and you've got Moor-Running training too. So you'll get a paw up either way." Grasslight encouraged with a positive purr.

Beetleclaw finally caught a bird after many failed attempts, and by now was panting heavily. He feared he wasn't able to hunt as well as he used to. He swallowed, the urge to go to Heathersky pulling at him. Even if she rejected him in every way possible, just hearing anything from her was better than this.
He buried the bird, steeling himself and beginning to pad in her direction.
