I mean, Tigerheart used Dovewing as stress relief to get away from the Dark Forest, he betrayed Dovewing by using the information about the catmint (I know it was partly her fault but he still betrayed her) and Tigerheart didn't take her seriously when he called her powers "cool". Tigerheart should have been more supportive for her, not just think that her powers were all fun and games. Tigerheart even wanted to tell Dovewing that Ivypool almost killed Flametail, pulling the "Your sister isn't who you think she is" card.
Tigerheart was always the first one to ask to see her late at night, and he doesn't give her a chance to decide. He just walks away before she answers him. The way how he treats her isnt right, like she's just a tool to use to get away from the Dark Forest. And if he truly loves her he should have supported her, supported her choice to move on, and not act bitter about it. I remember when he told Ivypool "She chose her Clan over me" and he seemed really bitter about it.

❈ -- I guess it'd be hard for a cat to actually be loyal with a cat from a different clan. He has to prove his loyalty to his own clan and mating with a she-cat that's one, part of a big prophecy, and two, having kits with her isn't going to help. He definitely liked her, that's for sure... but love? I don't have that great of a memory, and sadly, I only own two warriors books so I don't recall Tigerheart ever wanting to have kits with her.
He can't entirely be loyal to her, but in a way, yes.

Tigerheart wasn't serious about Dovewing from the get-go. But he had this odd thing where he almost felt like he had claim to her when he didn't. And when she rejected him he became very hostile. I do not see good things in the future for them, especially since Tigerheart is in ThunderClan. Yeah, I didn't like how Tigerheart gave her the cold shoulder when she rejected him. Like come on man, get over it, it was never a good idea in the first place to be with her lol. Smh, he's an Ashfur 2.0. |

Stop acting so jealous, Dovewing and Bumblestripe aren't even mates. Just friends. (I'm glad Bumblestripe took Dovewing's rejection good enough for them to be friends again. And yes, I know this is off topic)

he didn't know that they weren't mates anymore, so at least give him that. Dovewing dropped it in TLH. Tigerheart just couldn't handle being told no and pulled the "I love you" card. |

She didn't tell him that she and Bubmlestripe weren't mates anymore, so give him some cred. No offense, but what does Bumblestripe have to do with it? I believe we aren't talking only about TLH, and I also don't see why anyone should give him credit for anything. There is not a single thing he had ever done that would make me like him. |
