Am I the only one who gets incredibly irritated by this???
I just absolutely hate when someone calls themselves "she-cat" or "tom" instead of saying man or woman. Like... Why? What is the purpose? It's one thing to do a funny joke about you being cat, but this is too far.
Like, seriously. People on thetoptens.com call cats "fox-hearts" so often. But why? Just call them an idiot and you are done. Or like, pretend you are an actual cat. I saw someone say that they are "just a simple black she-cat, with simple blue eyes and simple loyal ThunderClan warrior". That doesn't make any sense.
Let me give you an example. Instead of saying "my name is Mintflower, I have gray tabby fur, green eyes and I'm a medicine cat" say "my OC's name is Mintflower, she is a gray tabby with green eyes and she is a med cat". It's seriously irritating. Especially when people go to the extreme and actually act like a cat everywhere. For example, I get people on chat say "meow" all the time, but you don't see Survivors fans say "woof".
You aren't a cat.
You are a human.
Act like it.

Aw, let them have their fun. Yes, it's annoying, but it's not hurting anyone. True I guess. But still irritating.

I call myself a she-cat when I write my warrior oc are you ok with that? I'm not sure if this comment is sarcastic or not, but for as long as you don't literally think you are a cat, it's okay.

Eh. I'm kind of neutral on this. It's not hurting you personally, but I can get that you find it annoying. Personally I don't have an opinion one way or the other.

"just a simple black she-cat, with simple blue eyes and simple loyal ThunderClan warrior".
One, that person should stop overusing the word "simple". Two, my genetics side is in agony.
But yeah I kinda agree with everyone else. Furries/otherkin like to pretend they're animals but just let them have fun with it. Some people have profiles of their Warriors OC's instead and use "I'm blahblahblah" because it's fun. Not everyone's profile has to be their out-of-character form.
Just my two cents, but yeah, I can definitely see why it gets annoying.

Wow, no offense but shut the hell up. If someone would rather be a cat (or something else) than a human, just let them! As long as they're not hurting you or anyone else, how is it even your business? Quit talking crap and find something better to do with your time.

I don't get it either especially when there are people who legitimately think they're something else (otherkin), but honestly, so long as it isn't hurting anyone, then why should it even matter? If they want to act like something else or even legitimately believe they're something other than human, then I say just let them be.
Besides, I'm pretty sure at least some of these people like the ones listed above are just little kids playing around who don't actually believe they're cats, but it's more of an online persona.

Wow, no offense but you can be a little more respectful. In this case, "no offense" means "I'm about to be rude but be the calmer person and roll with it". Instead of saying "shut the hell up" say something like "I disagree". I feel no shame towards my opinion. I have no problem with anyone that does this, I'm just saying I find it annoying. I won't shut up just because some random kid on the internet told me so. Please don't disrespectful. How would you like if someone did that to you? Maybe you are the one who should quit talkig crap, eating McDonald's, turn off the computer and get a life.

I find it annoying when they did that on the WCF(this post is talking about it on the WCF). It's normally not because they're playing around or they actually think they're a cat, actually. I think its because they didn't understand how the WCF worked. Most people who did that were probably on BlogClan or some other website that made everyone be their fursona. Usually, it's a sign of immaturity or ignorance(95% or more of people I've seen do this are pretty immature). Otherwise, they're "otherkin," which I don't think is.
People who don't act like cats sometimes call themselves "she-cats" or "toms" because it's our culture.
On the WCF, we used fox-heart and mouse-brain because the synonyms were censored.
I really can't stand it when they do take the thing to the extreme.

But when you say it on thetoptens.com where you can swear as much as you can, it really points to immaturity.

"Mouse-brain" is friendlier than "idiot." "Fox-heart" is friendlier than "jerk."
