first thought: all of my many hands are raised second thought: hmm or maybe I should let the story progress as usual and wait for the bonus material result: a hand is raised but either one is good It should have been posted a really long time ago. Anyway, I'll probably still be able to update this Friday, so maybe you'll get both. ^^

All the Council with Marick and Jo edited out for my sanity's sake. Our favorite fluff-ball. This guy again. Only seen him once or twice. Used to be featured in the prologue, along with Matchstick, back in the first version of this comic. I honestly really like Monny. She's actually a bit of a wimp in the Toxic War. Her name's a bit weird, blame younger me. I still entertain changing it to Penelope. Our mentor main character. He's turned up exactly zero times and if I have my way he wont turn up in this comic because we have too many characters as it is. Same as Mister Conner. I doubt he'll turn up. He's also a bit dry and a wimp. Looks like Thomas and name looks like Conner's and originally he was the half-paranormal and not Larry. He's honestly just that reject and I feel sorry for him. >.< I see him as being a bit of a force later, maybe ... Oliva calls her Applebee because I've started to call her Applebee and that's just ... that. It's her head-fur, I swear. All these characters are connected and she's friends with Samantha Silverton. This is going to come back and bite someone. Another character who wont turn up a lot. This is because she's either going to get a lot of short stories, a short comic, or a novella. Our favorite annoyance. He's gonna get to shine in this comic, I promise. Also, his hair style's changed a bit recently. Another product of me thinking he and poor Carter Ray were the same cat. *narrows eyes* Larry... Can't decide if I love or hate his new hair. All I can say is it suits his personality.
Also, thank you for the character profiles! Helps to keep track of things

Well, between the comic (if you look back), when you look at the very first page Larry appears, he has the funny front piece to his hair. Then throughout the rest of the comic he has a cross between Carter's hair. I've now gotten used to that style, so I have to see if I can gently switch it back.
I bet it does, pffft. I just did them for the Council of Twelve, but I think most of the others apart from Honey Middleton are semi on the front page.

You could make it canon? Larry changes hairstyles a lot?
Yes c: Although Samantha and Clarissa seem to be lorem ipsum text rn

X'D I could. I'll need to change days soon. Come to think, I'm wondering how many 'days' have passed in comic. I think it's three, but I could be wrong. Well, I mean, more than that has passed, but actually having them sit down to sleep or whatever has only happened a couple of times.
Yes they are. X'D When I get board I'll update that. We haven't seen enough of Samantha yet for me to really change hers (we'll see more soon, I can promise.)

xD Since he seems to have a bit of a problem about being short, stands to reason he'd want to draw away attention with his ever-changing hair. Three sounds about right. The prologue with Will and Tom, the day Will returns, and the day with the council?
I figured it was something like that c; I wouldn't want to spoil the plot.

He gets it from his father. Who's also pretty short. XP Hum. Yep. Will, as a fun fact, gets chased off the cliff at about dawn. Then two years pass, news of her return, and I think two months pass, if I'm right, and the first signs of the Poison turn up and Tylor invites Jo to the Council, a day passes off-screen, then the day of the Council and Marick appoints her as her apprentice, another day passes (where Jo and Honey Middton are settling down in the old twoleg den at the end of the day and the day after when they're eating 'breakfast'). Then the day we're currently on is the first day of Jo's apprenticeship to Marick and the 2nd to 3rd day of Will's confinement.
Heh heh heh.

Please say Larry's father is in the comic at some point!
Gah, it's been long enough since I read the earlier pages that I forgot about the later day breaks. That comment is a very useful recap.
O.O

You've met him already. What's the one other cat we've seen who is short and who has a bobbed tail? Maybe I should put it somewhere else other than in the comments, ha. XD

*frantically looks back through comic* Tyler Shields, yes? "I love that the first thing you noticed was she was taller than you" - How did I not notice earlier, that's Larry's DNA right there
Maybe cx Kind of spoilery, though.

Correct! Tyler Shields is Larry's father. The small, fluffy, bob-tailed cat passed down bob-tail and small, but though Larry has a bit of the fluff he really doesn't act like it.
Hum. You are right. It is a bit.

By the by, according to the original comic, Marick's eyes are violet.

Seconding that I'd also be concerned o.o
The same colour as the poison... hmm...

Yup. Be very concerned. :3 Also, paying attention to the Poison infection rate that I put on the Council of Twelve profiles might be worth a look. Actually, the poison is green. I used to color it in, but I got lazy and the green pencil I was using died. And it was such a nice evergreen shade too. To be noted that early in the comic Oliva's eyes began to be infected by it (you have to look closely to when Will's by the river). It would be rather hard to tell if Will's eyes were or not. Here's the eye color of all three sisters: Marick = Violet, Oliva = Amber, Will = Green. They were set out to reflect personality but I was always conflicted as to whether Will's eyes were Violet or Green, so I often drew her with the upper part of the eye green and the lower violet. Since the comic was remade they've just stabilized at Green.

o.o All I'm getting is that the more antagonistic/unstable cats - Larry, Monny and Tom - seem to have higher infection rates. Is that right? rip Mint's pencil Sorry, I meant that Marick's eye turned the colour of the poison I guess it's spreading or something? And interesting... Is Will's eye colour connected to the poison? (You don't have to answer this if spoilers)

Uh huh. o3o I'll give you ... a half point. Note that only the Council members have profiles like that, so we don't know how far along Will, Marick, and Oliva are.
Ah. Yep. You are correct. It is spreading.
Actually it's because my favorite color is green. X'D Though I wont confirm or deny if there are other reasons.

Gah! I might need to wait until you reveal more in comic. I suppose it would be spoilery to ask exactly how cats get infected?
And that is not a good thing for Marick
A very valid reason xD Understood

Oh yes. It would. >:3 But I've dropped a couple of hints, so maybe you can pick up on it if you look closer.
You haven't seen nothin' yet. This stuff's already killed a cat. Actually, that cat will be addressed and given a part in a different story when I focus on the George Dime Experiment. He was one of her guards/friends.

Three pages to make up for the three weeks of updates school finals made me miss. @.@ Back to the regular schedule! No words. But a very sad attempt at showing how far away from Seaside Marick and Jo were. Look at Larry and REMEMBER It's FLASHBACK time! The ritual reads as Latin (danke Sapphire). But I wanted to save everything by drawing them as weird symbols. Uppppdate! Owlmoon tiger beetle --cato phoenix spiritdeath ~Sapphire~ tinybreeze
