Killian Belle-Rose sat at her desk, the perfectly clear glass chair etched flawlessly with gorgeous designs. Her desk was made of the same material, impossibly smooth and slightly glimmery. Killian, knows at Ki-Ki (Pronounced key-key) to friends and customers, could see her reflection - the pastel sea-foam green hair, forest-green eyes with layers and shades of highlights and lowlights. Her skin was a warm caramel, contrasting her hair and eyes with an unnatural but lovely color difference. Her hair was swept to the side, a USB chord connected into the drive on the side of her neck, just under her ear. Only the wealthiest businesses could afford such high-technology - and Ki-Ki was at the very top of the home-making and decor business. Of course, there was a reason; Ki-Ki was one of them. With the one of a kind ability to create flawless glass from nothing, she was in the home-making business - instant homes with gorgeous decor on the inside and outside, specified to her customers requests. She had quickly risen above any other company, and now at the shockingly young age of nineteen, she was the leading business woman.
The USB gave a small tingle on her neck, making her blink slightly as the idea her brain created flowed into the hovering screen. She altered a few ideas, willing the image to turn and tilt to see from every angle. With a flick of her hand, the file was saved and sent to a customer for review - a three-story, solid-colored home, in the trending cream-white of today with blue-green trimming. The outside would be carved with delicate forestry, waterfalls as pillars holding the room of the sun deck. With a satisfied "Hmm," Ki-Ki shut everything down with a snap of her fingers, her long black nails elegant and simple. She removed the USB and the insert in her neck seemed to vanish, only to apear again when she wanted her idea projected on the MindScreen. Quiet music leaked from invisible speakers as she stood from her desk and chair, waving her hand at them absentmindedly. Her palm glowed red, and the glass furniture melted into the wall. Ki-Ki tied her hair up into a sloppy bun, her shoulders bare from the sleeveless blouse she wore. Her pretty face had a LiveTat on her jaw - a tiny trail of kitten paw prints 'walking' up to her temple and vanishing, then repeating the process. She had several LiveTats, but were covered by her clothing and skin-tight black bands up her arms.
Ki-Ki stood on a circle of pale blue glass, the boots she wore tapping against the smooth floor quietly. With a whoosh, the circle plummeted, but Ki-Ki was used to this, reading emails over her Eye-Screen, a screen that would fall over her eye and let her read and see at once. Once she reached the ground level one hundred and fifty floor below, she blinked away the screen and exited the building, pulling on a warm, fashionable coat. It was Christmas time, and Ki-Ki looked towards to being able to take a week off work, even if she loved creating the houses in her mind. With a little shiver, she headed onwards with her short walk to her own home.

gotta love some robos))
Well, technically Solomon and Harvard weren't robots - they were cyborgs. Close enough, though. It kept the cold out while they were walking back towards their shared apartment, balancing the groceries they bought in their arms and trying to keep from spilling them all over the people walking around them.
Harvard carried the milk and the other things that didn't fit in bags, using the sleeves of his leather jacket to keep everything from slipping - it did wonders to keep things from falling. He wasn't wearing his helmet for once, so he was trying not to sneeze as the feathers around the collar of his jacket tickled his nose. If he sneezed now, he would drop everything and something out of this would break - he was sure of it.
Solomon wasn't having much of a better time. He was constantly switching the bags between his hands as he tried to keep them from severing his fingers or doing any real damage. His fingers were bright red each time he switched them, and no matter how hard he tried, the sleeves of his jacket wouldn't stay down far enough to help.
Solomon grunted as he switched the bags to another hand for the third time in the past few minutes and shot a glare at Harvard, who was sniffling awkwardly to try and keep himself from sneezing. "Why couldn't we just take the bikes again?" he asked bitterly as they passed one of the taller buildings on the street - some sort of office building.

Ki-Ki saw two cyborgs ahead, obviously struggling with some bags. The Eye-Screen flickered down, and it confirmed what she previously thought - they were, indeed, cyborgs. She stiffled a slight giggle as one pulled a face, obviously trying to keep himself from sneezing, before waving her hand towards them. A few delicate, slightly concaved circles of glass appeared before them - showing up as shimmering orbs of molten glass before expanding outwards. Small, pretty spirals of less-clear glass helped balance the cyborgs and took the items, placing them on the glass disks.
"Looks like you two could use a hand," Ki-Ki's light, cheerful voice passed through the chill, even with a few tiny snowflakes falling to the lightly-covered ground. With another small flick of her fingers, a tiny spiral of ruby red glass - easier to see and later remove - helped pin down the feathers to keep the poor boy from sneezing. Her lovely, forest-green eyes were rimmed with light mascara and some charcoal gray eyeliner, amplifying the almond shape; her lips colored with passion fruit chapstick also had a touch of color. "Any better?" She asked with a mildly sheepish smile. Generally, she attempted to keep her powers on a down-low in public - but these por cyborgs needed the help.
(Yesss, all the bots!)

(Yesss, all the bots!) The two of them watched with some form of awe before focusing on the woman in front of them. Both of them stared at her, but it was Harvard that snapped out of his daze first. He flashed her a smile and nodded, rolling his shoulders now that he wasn't balancing a bunch of stuff. "Thanks -" it sounded like he was going to say something else, but he sneezed loudly instead, cupping his hands around his mouth and nose so it wouldn't go everywhere. Solomon nodded eventually as well, smiling a little himself. "I don't know how this idiot thought we were going to carry them all back," he said with a snort, glaring over at Harvard. "But what kind of technology is this? I've never seen it before," he traced one finger over the top of the...thing carrying his groceries.

"A valiant try, my friend," Ki-Ki said in her quiet, soft voice with her signature quirky smile, aimed at Harvard with a twinkle of humor in her eyes. "As my grandmother used to say - it never hurts to try. And this," Ki-Ki rose her grows slightly, a bit surprised they didn't seem to know, "It's not technology. That, dearie, is my.... ability. Killian Belle-Rose, call me Ki-Ki." She offered her hand to the both of them to shake.
Once she had her hand back, she dipped them back into her pockets. "Magic," She said following up her answer. "I'm one of very few who can harness it. I can make glass from nothing - I'm head chief at Rose Incorporated, the one who makes it all happen," She shrugged, a little sheepish. Everyone knew Rose Inc. was a huge home company, building the most unique and lovely homes and decor one could want. "Where do you live? I'll get your supplies to follow," Ki-Ki offered, her hand sliding form her pocket just a bit, ready to beckon the glass to follow them closely. A few clear, glass bangles chimed on her wrist pleasantly, another LiveTat coming to life on the inside of her wrist; a dandelion with it's seeds floating away, then it re-grew and did it again.

Ki-Ki dipped her head, giving Harvard a friendly and amused smile. A flick of her fingers, and an elegant rod of glass pushed the cyborg forwards gently, helping him get back his balance before it shrunk back into the ground. "Building homes is my specialty. Speaking of homes - where is yours? I'll send the item there, and I'll let you be on your way. So near to Christmas, i'm sure you have plans to prepare for." Ki-Ki bowed her head respectfully, her hand waving towards the disks of glass hovering by the boys. A few strands of her pastel hair escaped her hasty, messy bun, and she brushed them behind her ear, showing a pair of glass stud earings and the LiveTat of kitten paws up her lawline.

Ki-Ki nodded in understanding. "Let me walk with you," she said, looking over at the glass disks and waving her hand - they started drifting closer, almost as if they were unsure. Ki-Ki walked besides Harvard, her hood down to enjoy the falling snow as the discs followed after them closely. A reporter across the road suddenly spotted them, starting to snap a picture. Ki-Ki caught the action and flicked her hand, a thin wall of solid red glass forging upwards. Merry Christmas! etched across the surface, before erasing and doing the same over and over. This effectively distracted the reporter until Ki-Ki and the cyborgs rounded a corner. Once they reached the apartment building, Ki-Ki riffled through her bag before pulling out a piece of thin glass - her business card, but blank. With a tap on the surface, her personal (not business) contact information etched into the clear glass with a white sheen. She handed it to the cyborgs, one each. "If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to call or message."
