Like, they tend to be about as subtle as a runaway train and yet the cats angst about it for at least half the series. It could be because the Erins want to keep the readers in suspense but if the readers can already conclude what the prophecy might mean...?????
Like:
"A thistle has thorns as sharp as claws"
HMMMM I WONDER WHO THAT COULD BE????
"Beware a Warrior you cannot trust"
Obviously it's Graystripe! Your friend who has had your back since book one even though you've been arguing and fighting! It's gotta be him and not the cat you know committed murder.
