"Huh?" Syl's eyes widened as if he was suddenly fully awake, which he really was. He glanced over to where Carina pointed, squinting to try and make them out. "I don't know either... They don't look friendly though." The way they were shiftily looking around, dressed darkly, and traveling at an hour didn't bode well. "Is your concealment magic still up?"

Carina shook her head in reply, "No, it went out about an hour ago, I'm a bit drained." she told him lightly, her normal smile not on her lips now. She seemed sincerely worried at this point, she was drained of magical energy for her larger spells as well as being injured.

"Oh... Huh." Syl frowned then as well, more than a little worried. He was good at what he did, but what he did wasn't very much. He really only had two forms to rely on and realistically that wasn't going to do all that much against four mages, if the people on the road were indeed evil wizards as he suspected. "Well, if they see us, I'll handle it." By handle it, he meant distract them long enough for Carina to get to safety and then fly away himself.

Carina nodded gently to him and soon the group was passing the road next to them. She stayed still against the tree, listening closely to their conversations, trying to figure out who they were. Her eyes flicked up to Syl for a moment, watching up as well. Soon they'd passed without noticing the two of them and she let out a heavy sigh and tipped her head back against the bark of the tree.

Syl held his breath for a few moments longer before letting it free, his whole body trembling with relief. He wasn't above fighting an evil mage it was just, well, he'd never fought someone else who could use magic before. In all likelihood he would've been horribly out matched. "That was way too close for comfort..."

Dale rolled his eyes when he took them off of Jacqueline, instead his gaze was temporarily fixed on the vast stretch of woods before them. "Looks like we're getting close." He mentioned freely with more of a serious tone than the one he had used before. (Do you want to skip? Also, should they meet the villagers after or before they defeat the wyvern?) (They could meet them beforehand and yeah we can skip!) Okay and I'm fine with which ever scenario you want to do first. :3 I do have to study tho so I probably won't be able to really get involved in a battle, but I can do both.)

Stella smiled up at him. "I'm completely okay with a bit of a vacation. We could all use one." She kept licking at her popsicle, thinking about what she could do to get back at Luna for that morning. Maybe she could even get away with it now? She grabbed another popsicle, hopping off of Kaz's lap. "I'm going to go talk to Luna. I'll be back in a bit." She grew her wings and flew off to Isis and Luna's room. Isis watched the cat go, then looked at Kaz. "Do you know why Stella is being like the way she is? She normally isn't like that unless she's having an argument with Luna." She took another bite of the popsicle. How could Luna, who had destroyed every piece of food put in front of her, made something so good? It was like a sign of the apocalypse.
Skylar sighed softly, shaking her head at the two of them. "Please don't fight guys," she said in a lowered voice. "The master is going to get mad..." Even as she said it she realized they probably wouldn't believe her. The guild master was one of the most laid back guys in Fiore. Nothing seemed to bug him. Though after he'd spoken up during the fight that had happened earlier in the day, she had a feeling that another one today would push him over the edge.

"That was way too close for comfort..." Carina nodded gently and sighed softly, glancing over and making sure they were out of sight finally. "I don't like the looks of them. When I pick up our mission I'll report it to the Fairy Tail guild." she told Syl. Then she smiled gently to him and nodded, "Speaking of which, we should keep going." now her usual cheer was returning and she pulled herself carefully to her feet, today the wound was sore and a bit achy, making her a little slower than normal.

Finally Jacqueline and Dale reached the small village outside of Magnolia that had requested assistance. It was getting a little dark but there were still people milling around here and there. For a moment she paused then glanced towards Dale, "The head of the village, we just have to find him and report that we're here. He'll give us the details as well." she told him lightly.

"That all makes sense to me!" Syl smiled brightly at Carina, following her to the road with a bit of an uncharacteristic bounce in her step. He wished the road was made of a slightly less abrasive rock, but his feet were calloused enough that at the very least they weren't getting cut up or anything. It took him a couple minutes, but eventually he noticed Carina's slowed gait. "Oh, hey, Carina, do you want to ride on my shoulders or something? Might be easier than walking with your injury."
Kaz shrugged and shook his head. "Apparently they got into some kind of fight this morning. I'm guessing Luna pranked her or something but I really have no clue." Despite the fact that the twins had been with them since they hatched, their temperaments and mannerisms were still completely alien at times. "I think we should just stay out of their way for a bit, they'll figure it out."

Carina blinked at the offer, she hadn't even noticed she was moving slower herself but she smiled lightly too him and laughed. "If you're offering I'm not going to turn it down." she replied smiling up at him with a light nod. It was kind of Syl to offer her the ride, though she glanced to his feet, "Are you sure you'll be alright with your feet on the rocks?" she asked arched a brow up towards him with a light tip of her head.

Isis sighed softly. "I certainly hope so. I don't want to deal with them either arguing or not speaking to each other the whole time we're on this mission." She finished off the popsicle she'd been working on and grabbed another. "I feel like those two are always arguing or wrestling. They never seem to get along."

"Well, I've got something to take care of that!" Syl repeated the motions he had yesterday and soon he was a monstrous wolf again, a toothy grin on his muzzle. "Here, hop on." He lowered himself to one knee so that Carina would have an easy time getting on his back, this would make the journey easier for the both of them. "Just make sure to tell people I'm a person if someone encounters us, yeah?" He laughed a bit, joking around at that.
Kaz sighed, running a hand through his mint green hair. "Yeah, I dunno... I mean, we're siblings and we're not half as bad as them. Maybe it's a cat thing?" He cracked a smirk, but it did grow aggravating to have them never getting along. "Maybe the mission'll help 'em relax."

Carina smiled lightly as he transformed and she climbed up onto his shoulders and nodded, "Alright, I'll make sure to tell them that." she replied to him lightly. She laughed a bit as she was lifted back up and smiled brightly, "I've never been this tall, it's fun." she chimed brightly as her fingers brushed over his furry head a bit.

"It's pretty great isn't it? I love being this high up, wish I could all the time." Syl took a couple of seconds to adjust to having Carina on his back, he'd never carried anyone before, but soon was used to it. He started walking, taking careful steps to not jostle Carina at all. "You good up there?" His voice was still deep and snarly, a contrast to how lighthearted his words were.

Carina nodded lightly to him, "Yes, I'm fine." she replied lightly to him as she absent-mindedly tangled her fingers through his white fur and let her eyes wander around them. "It really is quite a new perspective." she told him happily as she sighed a bit, feeling a little more relaxed now that she was in his company and they were moving.

Syl could feel her fingers dancing through his fur, an entirely new sensation to the rather novice mage, but surprisingly found that he didn't mind it all that much. "Alright, good. Just tell me the way to go if there's any turns or anything. Shouldn't be too long now, right?" He picked up the pace a bit, not wanting to spend too long outside of a town after seeing four dark mages.

Carina nodded lightly, "Nope, it should be pretty close here." she replied to him with a smile as she sighed happily. She looked down at his head and smiled lightly and tapped the tips of his ears, "It's so different to see you like this." she laughed lightly as she ruffled the fur on the top of his head now.

"I don't pick fights I finish them." Mako said doing his best to ignore Nate. He wasn't about to let Nate get away that easily. "Besides why should I bother with a lizard"? He asked smirking slightly.

Syl's ears flicked involuntarily as she played with them a bit, and he let out a small laugh, suddenly finding out that they were rather ticklish. "Well, I'm glad you're able to notice that there's a difference, I'd be a bit worried otherwise."

Carina rolled her eyes lightly to him and laughed, "I mean, it's barely there." she teased him with a laugh as she blew on his ears to make them flick again, noting they'd done it last time. They came up towards a fork and she nodded, "Left, then a bridge and through a small forest and we're there." she told him brightly.

Isis huffed softly as she took a bite out of her popsicle. "Yeah I hope so. I'm guessing it is a cat thing. I haven't seen many twins, but the ones I have seen are not as bad as them." She looked down the bedroom hall, wondering what was going on right at that moment. Probably a hushed argument with some wrestling thrown in for good measure.

Syl's ears did in fact flick again, causing him to shake his head lightly. Not enough to hurt Carina's injury or anything, just enough to jostle her ever so slightly. "Haha, quit it. That tickles, seriously." His tone was still light and joking despite the savage voice, so he clearly wasn't upset as he followed the directions Carina had given him.
"Well, we definitely aren't. Though no matter who my twin was I probably wouldn't fight with them too much, just too much work really." He grabbed an orange looking popsicle as he ate the last of his current one, raising his eyebrows when he heard a yelp from Isis's room. "Well, they're obviously fighting again. Wanna just let them deal with it themselves?"

Carina laughed gently and smiled as he shook her lightly, "Alright, I'll stop!" she chimed brightly. She carefully stretched her arms above her head and her fingertips brushed the trees that passed above them. Soon a bridge was ahead of them and Carina nodded, "That's the one, then just a bit further and we're to Magnolia." she told him with a nod. "Maybe I'll stop at a magic shop to find a quick heal or something?" she suggested lightly.

Mako noticed that Nate didn't finish his drink. He looked back and saw the serious look on his face. For a second he wondered if he should continue or not. This guy was S class and his magic was no joke. However he couldn't help but keep egging him on. "I have no plans on dying. What will my fans think?"

Isis nodded, having recognized it as Luna. Stella had no doubt tackled her. "Yeah. Let's stay out of it. At least in my room there isn't much to be destroyed." She leaned back in her chair. "So. Think we can take care of those Blizzardverns quickly? I mean, they can't be that big of a problem for two Dragon Slayers. I mean we're made to kill things much bigger than them."

"Yeah, that'd be a good idea. Probably don't wanna stick in this form too long around people, they'll get scared and before you know it I'll be a rug." He laughed as he crossed the bridge, glad that their trip had been uneventful minus the near run-in with some bad guys. His weight made the bridge creak a bit, but nothing serious. "Especially with those Fairy Tail guys there."
"Yeah, I don't think they'll pose much of a problem. Should still be careful about it, but it's basically money in our pockets already." The orange popsicle went the way of the first rather quickly and Kaz was still shocked that one hadn't tasted like fish or dust or something equally repulsive. "Why, any reason in particular?"
