Quite a while ago, Vicky posted on her Facebook a joke about the three Milkfurs being related, where she said that the Milkfur from MV is the mother of the Milkfur from YS.
AND GUESS WHAT.
THEY ADDED IT TO THE WIKI.
THIS MAKES ME LOOSE FAITH IN HUMAN RACE! |

Considering that Vicky said it in the same post where she clarified that certain cats weren't the same, it does make sense why people would take it seriously. Cats have been named after relatives before too and this would make sense, but the timing does seem to be a bit off given how many years are set between MV to the medicine cat Milkfur's death.
I'm pretty sure Vicky was serious. I mean, Sweetbriar had to be alive around that time if PC starts three years later and Pinestar was already pretty old by the time he became a kittypet, so who says the same can't be said for the two Milkfurs? I'm really not seeing a problem here.

Vicky added the exclamation point when she said she must really like the name Milkfur if she's used it three times already. Here's what was said before that. She's clarifying that the three Milkfurs aren't the same cat and that two of them are related. Again I'm not seeing a problem here. Su also said that the medicine cat Milkfur was born after MV. |

I don't see the problem with one cat naming their relative in memory and after them. Like have you never heard of Milkfur and Milkfur Jr. lol.
