It never took long for a crowd to gather to the Auditorium when the word got out. The word being Once in a Blue Moon was playing. Once in a Blue Moon was a local bad made up of a few older teens, with incredible talent and unique music. They never charged for entry, and never made any merchandise. Purely in for the fun of music, they had already turned down several offers of fame. Already, several hundred people crowded the area, laughing and goofing as the band set up equipment. The lead singer and guitar player, Killian Belle-Rose (Affectionally known as Ki-Ki, pronounced Key-Key), was helping the bassist set up his amp, and they shared a quick laugh. Soon enough, the lights dimmed, and the drummer started pounding away.
Ki-Ki was surrounded by the rest of Once in a Blue Moon, just her and the bassist, keyboard player and drummer. The little diner was themed 50's with adorable tiled floors and red booths. They each had a drink in front of them, and they all dug into a huge plate of fries. They table exploded in laughter as the band shared a joke, the clock hitting 10 o'clock pm. The diner was open 24/7, but they were still the only ones there. Ki-Ki snorted in amusement and threw a fry at the keyboard player, a punishment for them telling a god-awful pun. "You're going to hell for that, mate," She snickered, leaning forwards on the table. Pastel purple hair tied up in a messy bun and mint green eyes topped with dramatic winged black eyeliner, she was certainly an odd character of colors. A black tank top hugged her curves, tucked into a pair of small blue denim shorts and held in place by a plain brown leather belt. A pair of worn leather riding boots graced her feet, the heels tapping the floor as she giggled again. "I gotta say, this was a really good idea. I like the looks of the peoples face when they can just waltz in and hear our music." Ki-Ki took a pull at her Shirley Temple, the cherry flavored soda easily swallowed absentmindedly. "Makes me glad we don't change."
(Jump in however you'd like - a band mate, a different friend, a waiter, I really don't care. :) )
