introduction ;; this is an alternate universe roleplay. we will start out like the books did, with rusty joining thunderclan, but from there we will change the story. cats may end up not dying, new relationships may blossom, and the plot will go in different directions from the source material. you can either create your own character or claim a canon one. i am also aiming to create something more dark and mature than the original books. rules ;; i - no rude behaviour. no bullying, no harassment, no putting anyone down. this is supposed to be a friendly environment, and if you do any of these things, you will be banned immediately from the roleplay. it's just common sense.
ii - literacy. this roleplay allows any level of post length, from one liners to paragraphs, but you are expected to have good grammar and punctuation. so please don't post something like this "dustpaw looked at sandpaw thx he said blushing".
iii - perfect characters. try to give characters some flaws. even characters who don't have many in the books, give them some yourself ! characters are more interesting if you give them some flaws.
iv - no advertising, unless you have my explicit permission.
v - no powerplaying and controlling other's characters.
vi - normal cat colour schemes. no bright purple cats with pink stripes.
vii - normal names. the prefixes moon, thunder, shadow, wind and river are all banned.
viii - if you've read the rules, put your favourite cat from the original series' name in your joining form.
ix - just because it will be a dark roleplay, i will draw a line. no showing mating. it's extremely uncomfortable. some other explicit and dark themes may not be allowed. if you are unsure, pm me.
x - when talking outside of roleplay, use brackets ;; ( ), [ ], { }
xi - you may only have three cats reserved at any time.
xii - if you have over three female characters and no male, you must create one male character to balance it out and vice - versa. this is to stop a huge amount of one gender and none of the other.
xiii - please be online at least three times a week. if you are completely absent from the roleplay for a fortnight without prior warning, you will be sent a pm. if you do not reply in a fortnight, you will be deleted.
rules may be added and removed as time goes on.

My fav from the original series would probably be Runningwind, tbh. Hence me claiming him. I also really like Onewhisker, before he was a butt. But I like Tallstar more and I don't want a monopoly on Windclan leaders, so no Onewhisker for me.
Also, regarding my OCs. Icepaw and Venompaw are siblings. Their parents will remain ambiguous unless someone wants to claim them as the children of their character, which is great, I'm all for it. They're also a victim of Brokenstar's messed up apprentice naming, and they're both four moons old. I plan to kill either Venompaw or Icepaw(depends who I'm most attached to when the time comes) off, whether in the battle against Windclan or an accidental casualty of the revolution. Not because I'm addicted to wangst, but because it's realistic, them being kittens and fighting full-grown cats.
Perchsplash is a warrior and Dandelionbreeze is an elder.
May I claim Ashfur for a later date? I wanna see if I can make him sympathetic.
