It is another reason why I do not like Spottedleaf.

"Spottedleaf!" she mewed in relief.

The tortoiseshell she-cat walked forward. Her pelt glowed with starlight and her eyes were like tiny yellow moons.

Leafpool felt her kits cold and unmoving in her belly. Had the journey through the storm harmed them? "Are my kits all right?" she begged.

"Yes, they are well," Spottedleaf meowed. Her voice cracked with sorrow. "Oh, Leafpool, what have you done? You foolish cat!"

Leafpool flinched, feeling the lash of Spottedleaf's tongue like a blow. "But I.."

"You can't make excuses," Spottedleaf warned. "It's too late for that, don't you think?"

Yeah, Spottedleaf's advice was very vague when she talked to Leafpool and Leafpool assumed that it was okay to be with Crowfeather. Did Spottedleaf stop her? No. So I don't really understand why Spottedleaf yelled at her. If she really wanted to help Leafpool then she should have made her realize that it wasn't right to be with Crowfeather.

I mean, all of this could have been a waste of time since Spottedleaf may have been right and that it wasn't right to be with Crowfeather, but Leafpool asked for her advice and Spottedleaf should have said that it wasn't okay. But she didn't. She just allowed her to be with Crowfeather.

Makes me wonder if Spottedleaf wanted Leafpool to 'understand' her since she fell in love with Firestar... in the end she did say "If I had lived, I may have been suffering what you are suffering now"

Both Spottedleaf and Yellowfang. Yellowfang was also the biggest of hypocrites. "Leafpool has broken the sacred oath of medicine cats and can never be one again! StarClan will never speak with her again" or something like that, always hateful and scornful.
