Pippaw glanced nervously at Leafblazes wounds & grimaced a little. They looked like they hurt, and too be honest, the medicine cat was unfortunately the tiniest bit squemish. He couldnt imagine being a warrior, and he wouldnt want to.
The young tom began to chew the herbs into a mush, not enjoying the bitter taste that came with the job, but atleast it'd help the warrior.
"This might sting a little," he murmered to Leafblaze, but took a moment to check Mudfeather for approval before applying the poultice.

Mudfeather nodded to her apprentice when she noticed his look for approval. "You're doing everything right," she murmured to him. She sat there and watched, letting Pippaw do this. He was far along enough in his training to start treating wounds and sickness on his own, but Mudfeather was going to be there for him when he needed help or was unsure.

The young apprentice nodded back to his mentor, and turned his attention back to Leafblazes wounds. Pippaw wasnt the most independant cat there was, and he relied on his peers approval. This was mainly out of fear of doing something wrong.
He placed the poultice on the various wounds using his mouth, and pressed down lightly using his paws, to make sure he covered the entire wound.

"Yeah, like an adventure," he replied. Taking a moment to look over the ginger tabby, the tom found himself entrance by her beauty. Then her voice reached his ears, and he blinked, finding that the she-cat was already making her way towards the camp entrance. "Coming!" With that, he padded after her, a bit of a dopey smile on his face. |
