Leafgaze confirming her fear of encroaching rogues made her ears flatten. Mudfeather felt the tip of her tail twitch with an anxious tick. She let out a sigh before turning over to look at Pippaw. "Good thinking," she mewed to him. Him gathering up the herbs they needed before she said anything was quick thinking on Pippaw's part. He really was an amazing apprentice.
Turning back to Leafgaze she meowed, "You can tell Chickenstar later. Right now we need to tend to your wounds." There was no way she was going to let the warrior go when he was wounded.

What did he need? Something for a poultice to put on the wound would be good. Oh- and poppy seeds to numb the pain.
Pippaw glanced over the pile of herbs, while keeping an ear on the warriors story. A rogue? That's not good news.
He furrowed his brows with worry, before bringing his attention back to the herb pile. He didn't know all that much about poultice herbs, but he knew a few. Green eyes gazed over the nettles from earlier, they would work; and as a plus they were fresh.
Pippaw collected the poppyhead and nettles and dragged them back over to the tomcat.

The warrior nodded and waited patiently while the medicine cats worked. How could they distinguish one herb from another? To Leafgaze, it all smelled the same, with the exception of catmint, of course. To be a medicine cat might be a hard task, but it seemed somewhat interesting. The tom suddenly thought what it would be like to share dreams with Starclan and to heal the wounded.
