The sadness still hung over the camp with Blackpelt death. Larksong had paid her respects to the noble deputy who now laid crumpled and defeated by a snake bite. Mudfeather seem to be taking the loss harder then anyone within the Clan. She had seen them talking what seemed to be ever day, they seemed close. Even then, Mudfeather hadn't saved the deputy in time. The Clan was supposed to be going through a time of healing, yet it seemed death and sadness still hung in the clouds over their heads.
The tabby she-cat sat silently to one side of the camp. She sighed softly , her tail curling around her paws as she watched her Clan. Blinking slowly, she pushed herself to her paws. She needed to get out of camp.
