Since the books and authors tend to contradict information all the time, I decided to make a hierarchy of what is canon in warriors. Tell me if you think I should switch up the order. Books a part of the main series and super editions released after Sunrise The Mangas The Novellas The Ultimate Guide Books a part of the main series and Super editions released before The Fourth Apprentice The Author's and Vicky's Word Su The Other Guides Merchandise/Art Your headcanon The reason I cut up the arcs is because pre oots material has largely been contradicted at this point by the later books. The field Guides outside of the Ultimate Guide are largely obsolete thanks to Dawn of the Clans. The mangas don't contradict canon much which is why they are so far up. Leafpool's wish doesn't fit into the timeline properly regardless of canon so I put it farther down the list than the other novellas. like I said, feel free to tell me if you think the order should change.
Edit: I decided to put leafpool's wish back with the other novellas

Interesting. I'm pretty sure everything is considered canon though regardless, unless it's only certain information that directly contradicts with other things, like the "official" family tree on the website for instance, or how TUG says that Hollyleaf never meant to kill Ashfur when she clearly did, but both can still be considered canon since not everything is completely wrong if that makes sense. Though I am curious how LW doesn't fit into the timeline. Is it because of when the Original Three were born or something more than just that?

Yeah. No. Everything in the books is equally canon, no matter if it contradicts other books or not. The only rule when "ranking" the continuity of these books is, in my opinion, that the newer ones (at least usually, not always) are the ones that are more correct in case there happen to be inconsistencies

It takes place in the winter which is literally impossible because sunset ends in spring and the sight begins next fall. But really no one besides me cares. It also has the unnessisary lie about squirrelflight's fertility. I just don't like to acknowledge that it exists.

I find this interesting, even though we probably never will have a complete hierarchy of what is considered canon and what's not, considering what's more reliable since change constantly...

Nothing is canon.
The whole series was just a hallucination Rusty had from rolling in catnip
