So basically which would you have preferred between the two she-cats with Tigerstar. Which I would have preferred it if he never took a mate, since I don't like him, and any relationship he would be in would be an unhealthy one, but since we had a ship of him and Sasha, and the old statement that Leopardstar loved (or had an attraction to him, I can't remember), I'm kind of curious which one would you guys have preferred between the two.
I personally would have preferred Leopardstar over Sasha.
For example, he doesn't like kittypets, he hates them due to his father Pinestar leaving to become one, and he constantly brought it up with Firestar that he didn't belong in the Clan due to his kittypets blood. And he isn't exactly open towards other Clans, rogues and loners either noted with Barely and his mistrust of him from the first book.
Which him recruiting rogues, loners I can sort of see due to him being exiled, wanting to take power, but taking one as a mate isn't one I could ever see from him. Which it could have just been him trying to manipulate Sasha into joining ShadowClan/TigerClan, but still.
Now what ship would I have done instead to give us an edgy villain and a pretty cool Medicine Cat? Eh probably Leopardstar to be honest. And since they (Hawkfrost, Mothwing and whatever sibling) wouldn't technically be half-Clan due to them probably being conceived when TigerClan was formed, I could see Tigerstar actually being okay with being mates with Leopardstar (mostly due to the fact that she willingly went along with his plans for a while and knew what he was doing with the half-Clan cats in RiverClan).
Plus I think it was stated that Leopardstar did love Tigerstar (or at least had an attraction towards him), and once again her going along with his plans. It would've given her more character as well, then we could have gotten a novella about her during the time of TigerClan, and possibly her Clan after TigerClan, the battle with BloodClan. Plus if they had made her the mother of Hawkfrost, Mothwing (and I guess Tadpole), it would have made sense as to why she seemed to have favortism towards Hawkfrost.
But like I've said before I think personally he should have never gotten another mate, and they just gave him another mate and a set of kits just so Bramblestar's could have issues with his half-brother and to spread the Tigerstar genes to another Clan (that won't even be able to be spread due to Hawkfrost dying with no known kits and Mothwing being a Medicine Cat unless she gets into a forbidden relationship, which I don't want because I sort of ship Leaf X Moth).
