The hypocrites that are Lionblaze and Bramblestar

After reading all of Oots, Dovewing's Silence, and Bramblestar's Storm, I'm pretty upset with both Lionblaze and Bramblestar.
During Oots, Lionblaze was always pretty suspicious of Ivypool and the other Dark Forest cats. But hey mister, I'm pretty sure you were trained by Tigerstar and Hawkfrost for the very same reasons, looking for their praise too. It took him quite a while realize why it was wrong. But does he extend the same grace to the Dark Forest cats, to give them time to realize their mistakes and come back on their own? Not really. I'll admit he got much better after Dovewing's Silence.
Worst of all is Bramblestar. Bramblestar also got trained by Tigerstar in the Dark Forest. Even Tawnypelt told him what an idiot he was being, but he still did it until he realized Tigerstar's plans and ultimately killed Hawkfrost. But even into Bramblestar's Storm he is still catching himself not trusting the Dark Forest cats, by splitting them up, and not taking them to gatherings. By the end there isn't much indication but come on!
I really want Leafpool to just come out and say to the whole Clan that Bramblestar and Lionblaze also trained in the Dark Forest. I want them to go through the same discrimination that the other Dark Forest cats went through from their Clanmates. How can Lionblaze and Bramblestar watch them get treated like untrustworthy outsiders and keep in that they also did this thing? It just really bothers me.
I would have also liked to see Bramblestar and Lionblaze take the new oath.
This whole thing just really bothers me. They are hypocrites.
I understand that if Bramblestar revealed he also trained in the Dark Forest at one time that the Clan would reject him as leader, but I am not sympathetic. I don't think he's that great a leader, plus I've always wanted Brackenstar.
Is anyone else bothered by their guilty silence while their other Clanmates are made miserable? Even harboring mistrust themselves?
